Yogi's mom was a rattie mix, but dad is unknown, and as Yogi is already about 15 lbs., we expect him to grow to be a medium-sized dog. Yogi is a rambunctious, silly puppy who loves to explore, wrestle, and cuddle. He’s still learning all the important puppy skills and is not yet house-trained. He can be a little nervous around new people at first but once he knows you are safe, he quickly attaches himself to your side. Yogi's looking for an active, patient family who understands puppy energy and is excited to help him grow into a well-mannered companion—picnic baskets not included! Because he’s too young for shared potty areas and not yet comfortable walking on a leash, Yogi requires a home with a securely fenced yard. Meet Mercy! Mercy is a loyal, loving, gentle girl. She loves her person and gets along great with other dogs. She is 3 years-old and weighs about 16 lbs. Mercy came to New Rattitude when her owner passed away and the extended family thought she was a little overwhelmed with their toddler twins. For this reason, we feel she will do best in a home with less chaos and noise. She has been wonderful in her foster home. She gets along very well with her two foster sisters. While she will play with them a little bit, her favorite place is snuggled up beside her person under a cover on the couch or bed. She is house-trained ( when kept on a consistent schedule), quiet, and a great lap warmer!! She is an experienced couch potato, too! Smiles and kisses are her other favorite things. Her cheesy grin will light up a room and be prepared for lots of puppy smootches! Mercy is a very laid back, easy going dog who would just really love a family who can spend some time cuddling with her. Because of ALDF, actress Kate Mara is sponsoring the adoption fee for some of our amazing dogs! Wow - can you believe it?? You can adopt one of our great dogs, and spend the adoption fee on new toys, soft beds, and yummy treats instead! ara, named Blyss at the shelter, ended up there when someone called and said there was a dog on their front porch. We don't know if she was lost, or someone had dumped her, but no one came to get her, until we did. This girl, who we think is a mix of rat terrier, min pin and a little bit of pittie, is a petite girl. She weighed 29 pounds when we pulled her from the shelter, and was a bit underweight, with some filling out to do. She is about 2 years old now, and is at her perfect weight, weighing about 38 pounds. She has a slender little body with long legs, a beautiful red brindle coat, and ears for days! If you have wanted a dog to do dog sports with - like agility - this sweet athletic girl may be a great fit for you! Like all of our dogs, Zara is in Atlanta. About two years old next month, she came to us in Feb 2024 as a two month old puppy with her sister. Then known as Victoria, she was adopted the next month. Sadly, her parents had to return her to us this August. She weighs about 20 pounds, all vetted, microchipped and is looking for that family who is as wonderful as she is.
