Meet Bonnie — the Brave Girl with a Big Heart Bonnie’s come so far from her rough beginnings as a stray mama. She’s healthy, happy, and finally ready to find the forever home she’s been waiting for. This gentle, loving girl adores car rides, squeaky toys, and cozy cuddle time. She enjoys walks and playdates with other dogs but prefers to be the queen bee at home—the only pup soaking up all the love. Visitors are welcome, just don’t overstay your welcome! Bonnie is house trained, crate trained, and full of heart. She can guard her favorite things like treats, toys, or even affection, so she’ll do best in a dog-savvy, structured home with older kids or adults. In return, she’ll be your most loyal, affectionate companion. Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  ##2448971##

Story
Meet Pedro Santiago! Pedro is a 1&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 11&#226&#128&#145lb Rat Terrier mix with a big heart and a friendly spirit. He does well with kids, dogs, and adults, though he may be a little shy at first. With his medium energy level and affectionate nature, Pedro enjoys being around people and would make a wonderful family companion. Training & Manners •  Potty trained on a schedule; can hold it for 8+ hours and sleeps through the night •  Not crate trained, but he is non&#226&#128&#145destructive and does well free&#226&#128&#145roaming in the home •  Leash training is in progress — he’s not quite there yet, but he’s improving every day •  Needs continued training and is eager to learn with the right guidance Pedro isn’t “perfectly trained,” but he’s a very good boy with a solid foundation and tons of potential. Ideal Home Pedro would thrive in a home that can continue his training, provide daily interaction, and truly include him as part of the family. Whether you’re a first&#226&#128&#145time dog owner or have experience, his friendly personality and manageable energy level make him an excellent companion. Story
Hello, my name is Linky West! I'm an 8 year old, 15 pound, rat terrier mix. I'm a spunky and sweet girl who is a bit shy and unsure at first, but I warm up eventually, especially if you have treats. I'm spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and ready to find my new home!   I had a loving person, but sadly they passed away. I was left alone in an abandoned house with only my fur friends and the occasional visitor to feed me. It's not surprising that I am loving life in my foster home where I have nonstop human companionship and furry friendships. I even started playing with toys and they are so fun!   I live with four other dogs right now. My favorite is the big, shy one (I love him!) and my least favorite is the loud, obnoxious one (I hate him!). I also lived with cats in my last home. My favorite companion is my human though. Once I get to know you, I will ADORE you. Where you go, I go. I will sit on the couch with you and sleep in bed with you. Sometimes, I will show off my vocal capabilities, so my foster recommends no shared walls - apartments, condos, etc.   I am not a fan of collars, harnesses, or leashes - they scare me! I hope to get more comfortable with them after more time and practice, but for now, I need a securely fenced yard in my new home. I can be a bit of an escape artist, so anyone who adopts me will have to be careful to keep me safe and secure. I don't mind going in a crate for meal time, but I don't like going in one for extended periods of time. That's okay because I don't make mischief when left out to roam freely while home alone. One other awesome thing about me is that I'm house trained!   I'm really enjoying life in my foster home, but I can't wait to find my forever home! Would you like to be my new best friend?   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Joker Bean is a 1-year-old rat terrier / chihuahua(?) and an 8-pound bundle of pure love. This sweet little boy adores his people and is happiest when he’s soaking up attention, cuddles, and affection. He has the kindest heart and just wants a family to love him back. Joker Bean would do great with another dog to keep him company, or as an only pup as long as he’s doted on and included as a true member of the family. His gentle nature and loving personality make him the perfect little companion. If you’re looking for a small dog with a big heart who will be devoted to you forever, Joker Bean is ready to be your best friend.  Thank you for checking out my bio; please check back for an update. My foster will update my information as soon as I get settled at my foster home. Story
Reintroducing Boo-Boo: Your loyal sidekick! Age: 6 Months | Weight: 23 lbs of pure love Status: Fully vaccinated and ready for adventure! Puppies grow and change so fast, we thought it was time to share some updated information on sweet Boo-Boo. If you’re looking for a medium-sized best friend with a large-sized heart, Boo-Boo is your guy! Now 6-months old and a sturdy 23 lbs., Boo-Boo has officially graduated from the baby phase and is ready to take on the world. While his name might be Boo-Boo, he’s anything but a mistake! He’s a smart, affectionate rat terrier mix who embodies the best of the breed: he’s clever, loyal, and incredibly sweet. Why Boo-Boo is the best: Social butterfly: Boo-Boo is a friend to all! He’s great with other dogs once he’s had been properly introduced. He’d love a canine sibling to wrestle with, but he’s also happy being your one-and-only. Housetraining hero: As long as he has a human who can take him out for frequent "business trips," he holds it well indoors at his foster home most of the time, though he's still learning. Versatile living: Now that his puppy shots are complete, he’s ready to explore! While he’d think a fenced-in yard is a total dream for zoomies, sunbathing, and exploration, he would be ok without one as long as he gets plenty of time. Food motivated=trainable: This puppy (like most puppies) loves treats, so he should be easy to train for tricks and manners. The ultimate shadow: True to his rattie roots, Boo-Boo wants to be where the action is. Whether you’re folding laundry or watching a movie, expect a warm chin on your knee and a wagging tail by your side. Boo-Boo is looking for a family to continue his training and give him all the head scratches he can handle. Is your home the one he’s been waiting for?
