PLEASE READ ABOUT PAXTON We are searching for a family for Paxton who can foster him until he's ready to be adopted. Paxton will need a family who has some dog experience and who can handle a big, strong boy. He's very well-behaved and loving and snuggly. His only vice is the leash. He likely had some traumatic experience before he came to us and he's not a huge fan of having a leash on or having it taken off. He's been staying with one of our training teams, and they've made huge progress with him. He has come so far, but he'll need someone who can continue working with him. Without the leash, Paxton is a big ol' goofball. He loves belly rubs and is such a sweetheart. He enjoys playing with toys, and he's a huge fan of snacks. Paxton is a handsome boy and just wants to be your best friend. We would like to find a family who would like to foster Paxton while he finishes up his training and care. She was found as a stray with injuries to her legs and feet, but thanks to a wonderful foster family, she healed both physically and emotionally. During her time in foster care, she proved to be incredibly affectionate—she loves people, enjoys snuggles, and plays wonderfully with children.Now living at our facility, Summer continues to work on her manners. She’s doing great with her leash training, is learning not to jump when excited, and already knows commands like `sit` and `no.` She’s eager to please and very smart, which makes her a great candidate for continued training in a patient and loving home.Summer loves doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. Dakota is about 6-7 years old, all bark and no bite. She's a gentle giant who loves to play and run around with other dogs. She lives with 5 kids, a chihuahua, and a cat. Unfortunately the chihuahua and cat are too scared to play with her because she is so big. She is bored a lot of the time and I'd like to find a home for her with other big dogs and room outside to play.

🎶🩷 Adopt Reba or Dolly 🩷🎶 These sisters were dumped and helped by Good Samaritans. They seem to have been in a home at one point because they have very good house manners - potty and crate trained and LOOOVVVEEE their people. They walk great on a leash and are good car riders. Each are about 70 lbs of pure love. Dolly and Reba are 2 years old and have the best smiles and if you want a good tv buddy - they are happy to sit right next to you. In fact, as close as they can to cuddle! They are good with other dogs and kids but chase cats so probably best in a cat free home. The girls look to be hound/ridgeback mixes. Come meet these beauties. Reba and Dolly are available through Animal Advocates of North Texas and are being fostered in Southlake. They will be totally vetted. Please help us by sharing this post!

Shiner is a sweet 7 year about to be 8 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She loves walks, being with her owners, and is loyal 100%. She loves going to dog parks and playing and running with the other dogs but will always make sure to come and find her owners. The reason for the rehoming is we have a young child and are not able to keep up with the exercise demands that Rhodesians require. She is fully house trained and even did training directly with all dogs unleashed. Her walking ability is great as she doesn’t pull on the leash at all and will walk right by your side.

Charity is a super sweet pup who does well with children. She does have crate reactivity to other dogs and needs slow introductions. Charity loves getting pets more than anything. Generally easy going with humans. She's been to a trainer for this and has been able to reduce her reactivity and even be walked with other dogs peacefully. Charity and two others came from east Texas where a duo of rescuers saved her from the fate of dogs in small towns with limited animal control services. They were found starving on the streets, so Charity does struggle with food aggresive tendancies (towards other dogs, but no issues seen with humans.) She is very smart and human attentive. Charity needs a 6 ft tall privacy fence due to her fence jumping capabilities. She should be the only pet in the home. She has been around children aged 1-17. She may unintentionally knock smaller children over but generally does well with kids. She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She has been on monthly heartworm preventative. ##1666556##
