Story
So I acquired him from the shelter when he was four months old he is now almost 1 years old very playful a lot of energetic aspects in him. I just live in an apartment complex and he’s too big of a dog to have an apartment. I’m looking for someone who has a yard for him to run around to enjoy himself in the backyard and somebody that will love him as much as I do Landlord does not want him on the premises and I have three children that live with me and my wife and can’t afford to get kicked out of an apartment. He gets scared of loud noises, big trucks and sometimes tall people I feel like he has anxiety, Super playful very loving think he’s a lapdog

Story
Kazhem is a very handsome, somewhat shy Akita mix who warms up slowly to new people. But once he is comfortable he will share his goofy personality with you, running zoomies in the grass and showing off his great smile and happy tail wag.He gets along great with other dogs on the beach, the trails and probably in the dog park, but would prefer to be the only doggo in his forever home. Once Kazhem bonds with you he`s very devoted and wants to be with you all the time. Retirees, professionals who work at home, and anyone else who could make him a part of their daily life would be his dream family!

Story
Meet HIROMI HIROMI was turned into the shelter as a found dog. No one ever came for her. Despite being failed by her former person, this sweetheart remains devoted and loving. After Hiromi’s arrival she was initially timid and lacked confidence. She can still be somewhat apprehensive but she has opened up and trusted us enough to let her true colors shine! She is silly, sensitive, refreshingly affectionate, playful and a free spirit. Her absolute favorite past time is to be showered with love and give it in return. Her gentle, resilient nature is inspiring but not surprising. Hiromi is very communicative by expressing a multitude of emotions with her eyes. Her body language is inviting and she understands how to use it to subtly let you know what’s on her mind. She is also an Akita so stubbornness is part of her DNA! Her ideal adopter should have a calm home environment and be able to provide consistency and a daily routine, where she can continue to expand her horizons. Hiromi gets excited for her daily walks and is a great traveler! She seems non-reactive to other dogs and might do well with a mellow male dog. She is approx 4 yrs old and weighs 57 lbs. She is also crate and house trained. She is ready to pledge her love and devotion! Are you?! Story
Meet TOBI We don't know much about Tobi's past, but his future is very bright. He is a big boy with a heart the size to match. He is a gentle giant with a gregarious, carefree attitude and is eager to learn and experience the world. He is game for adventure and deserves to have that special someone to accompany him in life. Tobi is playful and has a welcoming aura about him. He also has an unabashed, confident side to him. He's just not sure how he ended up here, and we're making sure he never has to wonder that ever again. He is best as an only dog and someone with previous Akita experience is best. Tobi is approximately 5 yrs old, and due to his size should be on a good quality joint supplement. He's only been with us a short time, so will need to gain a few pounds to look his best, but he's already on his way to showing us his beautiful soul. Story
Meet Emi Emi’s sleek, brindle coat is a thing of beauty and so magnificent to behold. Engaging, charismatic, gregarious, and spirited are the first things you sense about her from the moment she enters a room. Emi exudes a brand of joy that makes her impossible to resist! Not until you witness her graceful elegance and see a bit of frost around her muzzle, do you realize she is a senior beauty with an abundance of life experiences to share. She’s 8 yrs old and has found herself homeless, but she’s seen enough in life to know there’s still a wonderous journey ahead. She is a lover of people and she’d much rather be enjoying a fun adventure with you by her side on interesting walks or trips to the beach, than be left at home alone. She needs to be an only dog and is not suitable with cats. She is approximately 60 lbs. and seems unaware she has some arthritis and hip dysplasia. But as you can see, she enjoys playing with her toys and doing tricks for treats. Her healthy curiosity keeps her engaged in life’s adventures, though she also loves her beauty naps. Please don’t let her age deter you from considering giving her a home. Her heart is overflowing with love. If you are interested in Emi, please complete our adoption application in the link below. Story
Gibby is very friendly with people likes car rides going on walks and runs and taking naps. He is good in the house and prefers to be inside during the day. He is house trained and exhibits no destructive behavior to belongings or furniture. He likes to be with people all day and can stay in a crate for periods of time. He is a gentle guy and very trainable. He knows 'sit' and 'leave it' and is very obedient. He loves playing with dogs his size and has learned to coexist with small dogs as well. Gibson's exercise needs are low maintenance for his breed. He will sleep at your feet while you work from home or watch you cook and do chores. He has gone out dining and out shopping- he loves to meet people. He loves hikes and long walks and enjoys using the obstacle course at the dog park. He would be a great companion and enjoys being with other dogs. He plays with other friendly big dogs at the dog park and attends doggy daycare. Gibson does use a crate but uses it crated near another dog while I am gone. Gibson would do best with a person or family who is frequently home or has another dog to keep him company as he does not do well by himself. He presents a prey drive - someone familiar with the husky breed will be a great match! No small animals cats or rural homes with livestock (cows sheep). He has learned to leave it with cats and squirrels on walks and will listen to command. Must have strong person able to handle him on leash when he does pull. Gibson does well with respectful kids of all ages. We are helping Gibby's current guardian to rehome him. Please fill out our online application and we will forward to them. Adoption fee would be minimum $100 donation to Furry Friends Rescue. If you have specific questions please send them through and we will put you in touch with his current guardian.YouTube: https://youtu.be/kfFAC9ev8UsJune 12, 2024, 12:30 am

Story
Neena (was Tootsie) was at a distant and very crowded shelter for a long time and her time was running out. When volunteers took her out she was friendly and great with all the dogs on leash and in dog play groups (off leash). Did great with transporter. She is very skinny and needs to put on weight. Once out at her foster home on 11/17/21 she was nervous but warmed up fast to her foster home but not to their female husky. She was guarding and reactive to their dog at home. Got into a few dog fights. They are keeping them separate and giving her time to adjust. 11/28/21 Update: Took about a week but Neena is now doing fine at her foster home and with their other female dog. She is the top dog at their home. They love their walks and hanging out. They do feed in seperate areas. She still need more basic and leash training. 1/12/22 Update: Still working on leash training to teach her to stop pulling and not be so excited when seeing other dogs while on walks. 3/28/22 Update: Foster hasn't attempted to test Neena with cats however they can see Neena has a strong prey drive so if the cat runs it is expected Neena would chase. She is now great with foster home's female husky.June 12, 2024, 12:30 am

A kind person saved him when he was left in a box at a parking lot. From an accidental litter due to parents not being sp/n. They work full time and contacted us to take him in. He got his first vet care and now learning at his foster home and puppy trainer. Cutie Robin is very sweet friendly and loves playing with other pups. Doing great and cuddly. Robin loves to follow his person around. He is enjoying his healthy foods and treats. Need husky experienced guardian and home with fenced yard. We have tried different high quality and holistic foods (kibble and can) but he has a sensitive GI and got loose stools. He had a stool sample test and negative. He does best eating Raw diet mix (frozen patties or freeze dry raw from Stella & Chewy and other brands). No runny stools when he eats raw diet.June 12, 2024, 12:30 am
