Grayson is a big, white hunk of love! He is the biggest love bug and cuddly boy you will ever meet. He is a licking machine and will try to give you kisses any chance he gets. And don’t be deceived by his size, all 73 lbs. of this affectionate boxer boy loves to cuddle and act like he’s small enough to be a lap dog. He will play ball, go for walks/hikes, jog with you, or play in the backyard. He’s also a chill boy in the house and will lay in his bed or cuddle with you in yours. He can be active outside and mellow inside, best of both worlds! He loves going on outings and gets excited to go for car rides. Grayson is the ultimate adventure buddy and is always up for anything! Grayson does get a little anxious when left alone and would prefer someone who can hangout with him most of the day and take him on fun adventures! He is very food motivated so you cannot leave him unattended in a room with food or he will find it (and eat it lol)! Grayson loves all people, including kids, and would be a great addition to any family. He can be jumpy when he gets excited, so dog savvy children would be better for him. Grayson does get along with some dogs but can be reactive with others. He is mostly reactive when on the leash but if out in a yard he is very playful and friendly with dogs. We have found that he is great with small dogs male or female! He is a very good playmate and friend to the resident small female dog that lives with him. He can be selective when it comes to bigger male dogs. Overall, Grayson could thrive in a home without other dogs, with small dogs, with dogs who are submissive, or as an only dog. Meet Impala (or Duke) - a sweet, fun, loving, smart and very soulful dog. He's 65 lbs of gentle sweetness. He had a very hard start in life but he is a lover, not a fighter. He bonds deeply with his people and his dog pack and is always ready to snuggle! He is sensitive and shy with new people, but he’s a total pleasure to be with once he knows and trusts you. Due to his sensitive nature, he would do best with a confident dog in the home, as it puts him at ease and makes life much more enjoyable for him. Impala’s polite and obedient behavior in his foster home is PERFECT. He's potty trained and is very easy going - whether at home, in the car or playing in the water. He is even well behaved when left home alone and is happy to hang out home alone for up to 6 hours. He loves to play fetch, chase, swim and run, but he’s very mellow most of the time. He is great with members of his own pack - including small dogs. He is at his best in a house with another dog from whom he gets great comfort and confidence. However, he does need slow introduction when meeting new dogs outside of the home. His wonderful foster is helping him work on this and he's making progress.
