Daphne is a fabulous 7 year old pup. She is sweet, protective, and snuggly. She loves to play with other dogs, but can be noisy. While she is a barker, it is never to be aggressive. Daphne is the dog that will lay in bed with you all day and longs to spend all her time with you. She is needing to be rehomed due to circumstances that are not her fault.

Story
Cami is a fairly new member of The Pet Connection's team. She's around eight years old and is a very polite house guest as she already knows to do her business outside. She is such a sweet, shy girl who wants desperately to be loved. It's going to take her a while to trust people and she'd appreciate a quiet home where there aren't a bunch of visitors coming and going. She also prefers to be your one and only pooch, if you don't mind. She promises to love you to the moon and back, though! Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on Cami. She's staying with us in Beloit, Kansas, but transport is available to the right home. #thepetconnection #adoptdontshop #socute #happy

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Virginia (virginiak@tarasdream.org) for more information about this pet. Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process.    Colonel is a bit of a Velcro dog and needs someone who can spend a lot of time with him. He is a very good boy who still needs some obedience training. He is house trained and is able to be left to roam when nobody is home. Colonel's favorite things are his pork chews, his blue soccer ball, his foster brother dog, and people. He could play “soccer” with you for hours and would thrive with an athletic family that can keep up with him. He loves to cuddle and sleep in bed with you. Colonel does well with other dogs, cats, and chickens but would be best in a home with no older animals and no small children as he is still working on containing his energy and might be too much for them. Approximate Birthdate:   March 2023 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Story
Meet Tudor, a one and a half year old cattle dog weighing in at just under 50 pounds. This guy came in as a stray drop off with another doggo, so we know nothing of his past. He has attended doggy play groups and is shy and unsocialized, wanting to stick with the gentle and dainty group, no aggression. Tudor is shy, but sweet. He is worth taking that little bit of extra time he needs to get to know him, in order to get a look at his true personality. Tudor has the capabilities of being that great loyal companion. Will you be the one to give him that little bit of extra time? Tudor comes neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.

Story
Maxi absolutely loves people and kids. Loves to go for walks and runs. Sits for her food until you tell her to go. Likes to give you hugs and kisses. Maxi is 30 lbs & 5 years old, and we have had her since she was 1.5 years old. She has been to obedience school and learns very quickly but needs a job to do. She is treat motivated and loves playing with her toys or chewing on her bone. Being an Australian cattle dog, she likes to herd other dogs while walking or from the front door. Her bark does tend to be aggressive. Have used a muzzle on her during walks and it seems to help. She has door dashed in the past, just make sure your doors are closed and latched because she is a smart dog and will always check all entry ways. The main reason for finding her a new home is she has learned how to jump our 5 ft fence and loves to run for about 30-45 minutes. The problem is she is oblivious to traffic and has almost been hit a few times. She will come with her kennel and toys.

Story
About 8 years old, Toast is a moderate-high energy dog with a lot of life and energy left still. Once she knows and trusts you, you will be charmed by her expressive, goofy, fun-loving demeanor. She is a lover of head and booty scritches, but is not normally one to snuggle up next to you on the couch or in bed. She will still get up in your business, though in a playful and loving manner (especially when trying to eat!). She still gets the zoomies and enjoys physical play. She can be just as happy snoozing around all day or being out and enjoying long walks. She loves to destroy squeaky toys. Toast is food motivated. She will sit and wait for her dinner with either Go or Free as her release command, and is getting better at Place. She is generally quiet. Toast is an aggressive dog that battles anxiety & resource guarding issues. She has a prey drive for small animals & cats. She is not good with other dogs, and should not be with children.

MILO IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR ONE OF OUR PARTNER RESCUES. Hey there, my name is Milo! I’ve been at the shelter for a while now, but before I came here I was living in a homeless camp. My rescuer found me in a bad situation and brought me to my PAWS family. I am an energetic guy, and I love to run and wrestle with my canine friends. I play in doggy daycare every day! My motto is: Play hard, Nap hard. I can be shy when first meeting people, but once I get to know you I’m sure I’ll love you! I love to snuggle and I appreciate a nice, warm blanket.  I’ve only been in a house a couple times in my life, so I’ll need to learn the ropes, but I am a quick learner and I promise I’ll make you proud! If you are interested in learning more about me, apply to meet me today! June 10, 2024, 2:26 pm
