Story
Red's original owner died and I adopted him from the relatives of that owner. He is a 2 year old with high energy and loves people. I currently live in an apartment and I know he would be much happier with a yard. He needs socialization training with other animals but he is a very smart and loyal dog.

Story
I am 50% Australian Shepard, which means one of my parents had a little fun with a mutt, who is a Germain Shepard, Siberian Huskey, Basset Hound, and Cocker Spaniel mix. I'm 100% a smart cookie who equally loves romping around, long walks, and cuddling. Mom always shares her popcorn, no butter, please! Speaking of Mom, she's been through a lot while we've been together. She adopted me in 2020, right before the pandemic, and I didn't get to experience the world like I should have when I was a pup. So, when you feel confident, I do too She went through a divorce, moved across the country, and I was separated from my best friends. I have severe separation anxiety. Before the divorce, I was never left alone and always had my pals by my side and a big yard. This makes life hard for Mom, she can't provide another friend for me and hates giving me such strong anxiety pills just to leave the house. It would bring Mom a lot of peace if I could live a good, steady life with a big-hearted family.

Story
Our wonderful friend, Hypatia, is still looking for her home. We thought we’d mention some of the characteristics that would make her a great addition to someone’s family. *Hypatia is a bit of a couch potato. She is no stranger to the zoomies but she likes to spend most of her time relaxing on cozy furniture, either independently or (preferably) with a favorite human. *Hypatia moonlights as a blanket. She adores cuddling and being close to the people she loves. This will come in handy as the temperatures drop. *Hypatia is housetrained. She does her business as soon as she gets outside. You won’t need to set up any bells or whistles to get this girl to go potty outside. *Hypatia is independent. She loves her people but is also happy to spend long periods by herself napping or chewing on a favorite toy. She doesn't need a super active family to maintain her energy level. Hypatia would be fine with a busy owner or family that can’t always be home with her. *Hypatia is entertaining and a lot of fun. See the picture of Hypatia and her blue pool for just one example. She's a goofball, so sit back and watch. *Hypatia loves her people. This dog has more friends than most people we've met. Everyone who knows Hypatia loves her. Hypatia has never had a person or family of her own to spoil her. We cannot imagine how much love she will give to the person or family who brings her into their home and gives her the love and stability she has always deserved. Please consider welcoming Hypatia into your life through foster or adoption. If you can't do this, please share her far and wide. Hypatia tends to get overlooked because she is a pit mix, has white on her face so she looks older than she is, and because she needs to be an only dog. We need to expand the circle of people who know about her to help her find her family. Hypatia is a 3.5-year-old cattle dog/pit mix available through The Pet Connection in Raytown, MO. Hypatia’s adoption fee will be covered by one of her many friends and she will come with a life starter kit from The Rosie Fund. Transportation can be provided to the right home. Hypatia will need to be an only pet but, after meeting Hypatia, you’ll know that she is the only pet you need. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info. #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #FosterDog #CattleDogMix #PitMix #RaytownMO #DogLovers #ForeverHomeNeeded #ShareForHypatia #ThePetConnection

Story
Let Cami be the queen of your castle! She is such a sweet, shy girl who wants desperately to be loved and we have no doubt that she will steal your heart. She enjoys peaceful activities with her people. (Check out her fishing adventure in Minnesota last winter!) It's going to take Cami a bit to trust and she'd appreciate a home where there aren't a bunch of visitors coming and going. While she can be picky about her canine friends, a super social dog might just do the trick. Of course, Cami would be perfectly satisfied being your one and only, too. Either way, she promises to love you to the moon and back! Cami's around eight years old and is a very polite house guest. She's quiet, doesn't get into things she shouldn't, and already knows to do her business outside. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on Cami. She's staying with us in Beloit, Kansas, but transport is available to the right home. #thepetconnection #adoptdontshop #socute #happy
