Meet Hinto!
Hinto is a 2-year-old, 40 pound Heeler mix who’s as gentle as he is handsome. With his calm demeanor and soulful eyes, he wins hearts everywhere he goes.
Hinto's superpowers include being incredibly well-mannered—he’s housetrained, doesn’t bark, and is quiet and composed in the home. He’s loving with all people, including kids, and has been very respectful of the two cats in his foster home. After a short period of curiosity, he now coexists peacefully with them. On walks, he’s polite and calm around other dogs, occasionally sniffing them but never showing any signs of reactivity or aggression.
Hinto knows basic commands like “sit” and “lay down,” and is a quick learner with a loyal, watchful nature. He enjoys his walks (we go three times a day!) and has a playful side when he sees a squirrel—so hang on tight! After walks, though, he’s content to rest and recharge, often snoozing the day away.
If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who will trot happily by your side on walks and then nap peacefully at your feet, Hinto might be your perfect match!

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
