Story
Ariel, the amazing cattle dog mix, is a true gem in the world of rescue animals. At just 2.5 years old, she has already experienced life in both rural and city environments, adapting effortlessly to each new situation. With a sweet and gentle disposition, Ariel has captured the hearts of all who meet her. She is a social butterfly, getting along splendidly with other dogs, cats, and children of all ages. Her charming personality shines through, bringing joy and happiness wherever she goes. Ariel's intelligence and eagerness to please make her a wonderful companion for any family. Whether exploring the great outdoors in the countryside or strolling through the bustling streets of the city, Ariel thrives in any setting. Now, this remarkable dog is ready to find her forever home. With so much love to give and a lifetime of companionship to offer, Ariel is the perfect addition to any family. Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome this incredible canine into your life. Adopt Ariel today and experience the unconditional love and loyalty she has to offer. Ariel wants to be part of your world! She wants to see how a home looks and experience what love is. With rescue we can't guarantee age or breed but we estimate Ariel to about 2 years old, she weighs 47 lbs and is likely a pit bull mix. She is fully grown so you have found a petite pittie. One of the best things about her size is she is the perfect to-go size! Take a look at her in action then come back. to read more about Ariel. This girl enjoys the quiet life, but honestly, don’t we all! To help her feel at ease, Ariel would thrive in the company of another dog, preferably one who has a medium level of playfulness. Having a furry companion is the key to unlocking Ariel's full potential, as she tends to open up more in the presence of other dogs. In additions to a love of canine-companions, Ariel gets along famously with feline friends! Meeting our resident cat highlighted her gentle nature. While she maintained a bit of an avoidant attitude towards the cat, she was open to gentle interactions, gave respectful space and has even let the cat walk by without a fuss. With a bit of time to relax and a few treats her personality shined. We were all so excited as she started to wag her tail and come over for love. Experiencing a rescue dog unfold and fall in love with you is powerful and builds a bond like no other. While Ariel could make a wonderful addition to any family, a home with older children, 5+ who can understand her sensitivity to fast movements and loud noises would be ideal. This observation of her personality could easily change once she is in a home. Home life looks good on every dog! If you are looking for a canine companion, a bonus-buddy for your furry friend, and a calm addition to your home, Ariel is ready to be part of your world! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Story
Hi, I’m Hendrix! I’m 9-months-old, and I've been told I'm quite the gentleman when it comes to my manners. Just whisper the phrase "nap time," and I'll trot off to my crate, happy as a clam. Affection is my middle name. I'll be your shadow, whether you're lounging on the sofa or whipping up something delicious in the kitchen. Cuddles? Absolutely, count me in. Car rides are a breeze with me; just help me hop in, and I'll enjoy the view in quiet contemplation. Can we please stop for a pup cup on the way, though? Fall in love with Hendrix here: https://youtu.be/y2lKOsNPu9E?si=O6FL0wZ6mOgDrU8b New places? Love 'em! I'm always up for exploring and meeting new friends. I’ve never met a stranger, only new friends, I open up quickly and I’m very sweet and trusting with new human friends! Speaking of friends, I do like to play the alpha role in the dog park, engaging in friendly tumbles and games, all in good spirit, of course. We think I’m a Cattle Dog, American Staffy/Pittie mix, but with rescue it’s always a bit of a mystery! I’m currently weighing in at around 50-lbs, but I am still growing. Walks are a delight; I keep pace like a pro, though I might get a tad too enthusiastic if a bicycle goes by—only because I want to join them! Commands? Got a whole repertoire: come, sit, stay, lay down, and of course, "nap time" for kennel time. Potty training? Check that off the list too! My foster mom says I don’t have accidents in the house, and I even know how to alert to go outside to do my business! I love my bubble baths, and I’m a gentle treat-taker, everyone that meets me seems to love me! I'm a quick learner, eager to please, and while treats are great, your approval is what I crave the most. Cats at the rescue didn't faze me, I’m not very interested in hanging out with them but I’m happy to co-exist. I've always enjoyed the company of my canine siblings. I have a good mix of energy and integrate well into any household- I love adventures, I love running and playing and swimming, but I'm also content curling up indoors after a day's adventure. I've had the joy of living with kids and other dogs, blending seamlessly into the family dynamic. I love being walked by my foster mom’s ten year old, and we love snuggling up on the couch! He even plays tug of war with me. My confidence shines through in everything I do, making me ready for whatever life throws my way. So, if you're looking for a loyal companion who's as comfortable on an adventure as he is being a couch potato, who values both the thrill of play and the tranquility of a peaceful home, look no further. I promise to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love into your life. Let's make some memories together! I’m being fostered in Friendswood, TX and I can travel to the PNW, the East Coast, and Canada. We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. A note about adopting a puppy from the Houston, TX area: Based on statistics, puppies from this area are one of the MOST desperate in the US. Euthanasia rates are incredibly high for both puppies and adult dogs. This precious baby is safe with us now, but there are so many more to save every single day. Our adopters truly save lives. Rrrrruffff! I'm Kya! I'm a happy and smiley girl! I love people and I'm a very sweet girl. I can be a tiny bit anxious but with time I come out of my shell pretty easily! I'm a cattle dog mix, and I have some white, brown and black in my coat! I'm quite beautiful, and I smile often! I'm dog friendly, I currently go out with two other large female foster sisters and a foster brother! At first, I try to work and will to herd everyone. That's my job, so that's what I do! But,, I play and jump around once I know my duties have been completed! I'm potty and crate trained! My foster Mom lets me out in the yard (fenced in), and I get to play with others and do my business. When I'm all done, I go straight to my crate, where I'm fed and given water! I do like to play in the water too, sometimes I just stand in it. I'm a great adventure partner too, I love adventures! The only adventures I go on right now are to Home Depot, Marshall's, and my favorite...the drive thru at Starbucks! I get to get a pup cup every time! Watch how good I was at my last trip to Marshall's with my Foster Mom here: https://youtu.be/CJkoorJ859w?feature=shared I'm so happy that I'll be able to find my forever home soon. I would love to provide all the love and affection to someone or a whole family! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Mandrill M (they call me Maddie). I would really like to find my forever home for the holidays. Let me tell you about myself. I am about six months old and the best guess on my breed is heeler/hound mix, definitely some hound in there as I like to use  my nose and you will notice the floppy ears and I am sure you noticed my stunning eyes. My best part of the day is playing with my foster sister and watching her so I can learn. She is a good teacher. I am potty trained and I spend my nights in a little area made just for me where I feel safe. My foster Mom always gives me treats before bed to make sure I know it is a good place. I have learned some basic commands like sit and I know go potty! That’s when it’s cold outside and Mom is in a hurry. I am just starting to learn fetch and I am working really hard on off as I really love to hug and it’s hard for me not to want to jump up to hug you. I am a good traveler in the car so it’s easy to take me with you. I live with 2 cats but I do like to taunt them so only cats that are smart about dogs would be best. I get along great with all size of dogs as long as they are nice to me. Oh and I should not forget to tell you that I am great on a leash. The hardest thing for me is meeting new people. I am very timid so I really need someone who is patient and willing to let me get familiar with you before you expect those hugs but once I am comfortable get ready because I will want lots of loves and reassurance. I am eager to learn and adventures would help me to build confidence and help me to bond with you. I will get very attached to you because I will be looking to you for reassurance to know I am safe. I am so excited to find my new home and become part of a family. If you think you could love me for a life time please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 21, 2024, 9:26 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I’m Gladys Herdman I’m an energetic and affectionate Heeler mix looking for my forever home! I’m a playful pup that is full of spunk and loves to explore the great outdoors. I am looking for a family that enjoys staying active and can provide me with plenty of exercise to help me burn off my youthful energy. I’m a social butterfly who thrives on the company of other dogs and would make a great companion for a household with canine siblings. I adore belly rubs and cuddle sessions after a good play session. I’m a smart girl that is already dog door/potty trained, as well as crate trained. I walk well on a leash and am eager to learn new tricks and commands, making me a great candidate for further training. If you're ready to welcome a fun-loving and loyal companion into your home, Gladys Herdman might be the perfect match for you! Story
Louie is very sweet and loves attention. Sometimes, he thinks he's a lap dog 😂 My family is in a stage in life where we can't take care of a young dog that requires more attention than we can give. I believe in a better home that has more time and energy to give, Louie would thrive. Louie could use some more training. He knows basics like sit and stay. He is good with guests that we have over, the other dog we have, and the new baby in our family.
