Story
Meet Violet! 🩷 Violet is a sweet, affectionate 3½-year-old girl who loves being with her people. She's house trained, playful, smart, and enjoys walks, cuddles, and spending time with her family. She has been raised with children and is a wonderful companion. Violet can be reactive toward other dogs, so she'd do best with someone willing to continue working with her. Unfortunately with two jobs now, we are just too busy. This is a heartbreaking decision, and my only goal is finding her a loving home where she'll thrive.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I’m Jazzper, and I’m looking for a foster home! I’m a very handsome, almost 6 year old Aussie mix. I weigh about 50lbs and I am a very good boy…with some quirks. I am super duper smart. I’m also very trainable, and I have a TON of training under my belt! I also have a dedicated trainer that will keep working with me weekly in a new foster home. I am fully potty trained and crate trained and I know lots of commands. I am active and fun! I love a daily walk, hiking as often as you can take me, paddleboarding, swimming and all the other adventures! I’ll even play soccer with you (for real!) Here’s the stuff that’s harder. I don’t really like other dogs. I have coexisted in a home with multiple other dogs for over 6 months and I’ve made great progress in my interactions. But it’s also really clear that I would definitely be happiest as an only dog in the home. I am muzzle trained and very comfortable wearing my muzzle when we go on adventures. I’m not really reactive anymore, but the muzzle keeps everyone safe and helps me remember to be a good boy. I’m not a fan of kids. Children over 12 would be fine. Children over 14 would be great. I bond deeply with my humans and enjoy being part of their daily life. I am a really great companion – I just need the right home to find me! Do you think you could give me a chance? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce myself!  My Name is OTTERPOP! Want something to cool you off during these hot summer days?!?!  Well, let me help you out with that!  I will cool you off with kisses, I’ve got you covered! I am a 6-month-old male German Shepherd/Pittie mix. With the biggest ears and the most beautiful grey/green eyes. I weigh about 35-40 pounds and fully grown I should be a sturdy 60 – 65 pounds. A little about me….. I had a semi-lengthy stay at the shelter and landed in a home that will love me as long as needed until I can find my ‘furever’ family.  My past isn’t important now, why do you ask? Because what I have to offer for ‘our’ future is all that matters.    I am working on potty training, I am getting the hang of it, I just follow the other dogs and I go from there. I have learned my kennel is cool (no accidents in there), mom feeds me there, so win, win for everyone.  I am working on this ‘leash thing’ kind-of weird to me, but with practice I will be a pro, I ‘pancake’ when you put it on me.  However, if there is another dog alongside me, I will follow them on the lease.  I love other dogs, they make my shyness go away and give me confidence.   I have done amazing from day one with my new foster family!  I am well tempered and love my new life. Which is filled with hope and endless possibilities.  Considering I am a puppy I am not super interested in jumping or ‘table surfing’ although, surfing sounds fun, if I knew what that was.    I am very food motivated; I will do anything for a treat.  I just realized what toys are!  WOW, they are kind-of fun to chew on. My perfect day consists of making friends.  Dog friends, people friends, bird friends, maybe even cat friends. I love to run with my other furry friends. I will do amazing in a family with dogs. I really would love a family that can teach me tricks and provide me mental activities to keep me focused.  Give me a treat and I will do just about anything for you. Do you want or need a dog that will be obsessed with your presence, want to always be around you, check on you at random times, constantly ask for treats, has endless energy, keep up with you on any hike or run, and endless LOVE?????  Stop looking, I’m it! ‘Otterpop’. Words cannot tell you how amazing I am, meeting me will show you!  If you would like to meet, apply for me at rescuerovers.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 24, 2026, 7:27 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet Daisy Lou!    Are you looking for a sweet, loyal, playful companion? Daisy Lou may be your perfect match!    Daisy Lou is a 2-year-old Heeler mix weighing about 35 lbs. She is crate trained, potty trained, and great with other dogs.    Daisy Lou has a moderate energy level (5–6/10). She’s active outdoors but calm and easygoing inside once her needs are met. She loves walks, hikes, and fetch, and especially enjoys playing with other dogs. She also has great recall and will come running when you whistle.    After exercise, Daisy Lou settles in beautifully and loves being close to her people—lounging at your feet, napping nearby, or soaking up attention.   She also loves toys, especially big stuffed animals  .   Daisy Lou can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe she will quickly warm up. She loves giving kisses and getting attention from her people.    If you’re looking for a fun, loyal companion who also knows how to relax at home, Daisy Lou is your girl.     Ready to meet Daisy Lou? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi beautiful world…I am Ana Lucia – (Lulu) My fur is soft, my tail twist, I have a cute black spotted nose, tiny black dots on my pink ears and a smile that will lighten up anyone’s day. I am unforgettable and the complete package. • I am a cattle dog mix weighing about 40 pounds – I am fully grown, 1 ½ years young • I am completely potty trained – which means, no surprises • I enjoy my kennel, mom feeds me there, I learned very quickly that I get a treat every time I go in there. • I love dogs of all sizes and would really enjoy a home that has one or two • I am food motivated, I value my food – which is awesome, because I will do just about anything for a treat • I love water and a lot of toys! • I love all sizes of people – that means, kids would be great! • Not sure about cats, however, I have a great temperament and with the right introduction I would be fine. I was rescued from a horrible situation in NM by a kind soul that kept me safe until I made it here. Even brave dogs need heroes, my hero did not wear a cape, but she should have! I will prove to you that a past does not make a dog, their future does. I am affectionate (cuddles are my love language), gentle, and always happy to meet new humans. I will provide love, laughter and plenty of tail wags. I promise to greet you every day with a smile and end each day with a kiss. Things you should know about me: The ‘Fear of Missing Out,’ is real for me. I bond quickly and always want to be with you, a lot like Velcro. I can be jumpy when I see you, because I want to lick your face, completely. I would really benefit from an active home that will keep me socialized and take me on new adventures. I am worth the meet and would love to do just that, all the words above shame who I am in person. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Jin, and I am a very small boy with a VERY big heart.  I’m about 3 months old, weigh around 6 pounds, and the shelter says I’m a terrier/cattle dog mix. I’m still figuring out exactly what that means, but I’m pretty sure it means I’m cute.  I had a bit of a rough start, I lost my mama. I’m learning that people can be very kind, and I’m really enjoying this whole “being loved” thing. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I would like to be in your lap approximately ALL THE TIME. Thank you.  I’m a total cuddle bug and would much rather be wherever my people are than off adventuring by myself. I’m not the bravest little explorer yet, so I tend to stay close to your feet. If you move, I may follow. If you sit down, I may climb into your lap. If you’re wondering where I am… please check your feet.  I love food (A LOT), toys, and playing in the grass outside. I also love soft places to nap and chew on my toys. I am basically a tiny professional at relaxing. I’m doing pretty well with potty training — I’m about 80% there! And I sleep quietly through the whole night in my kennel. I’m also a good listener and come when I’m called. (Especially if there’s a possibility that food is involved. I’m not saying I’m food-motivated, but I’m also not not saying that. ) I’m friendly and playful with other dogs and would be happy living with canine friends, but I’m also perfectly happy being your one-and-only little guy. Now, I do have one tiny disclaimer: I am currently teething. And unfortunately, human fingers are apparently extremely interesting chew toys.  I’m working on learning that fingers are for petting, not nibbling. I’m just a baby, and with patience, redirection, and some appropriate things to chew, I’ll grow out of this stage. My foster family promises I’m worth the occasional “OUCH!”  My energy level is probably about an 5 out of 10… with a very generous amount of that energy followed by heavy napping.  Mostly, I just want to be with you. I want to follow you around, curl up beside you, play with my toys, explore the grass, and then climb into your lap when I’ve decided I’ve worked hard enough for the day. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly little shadow with a playful side, a love of snacks, and a very promising future as a professional lap dog… maybe I’m your guy.  Have your people call my people here: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 24, 2026, 7:27 pm
