Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Howdy! Are you looking for a black belt stuffy annihilator, WWE smackdown tug champion and pup cup connoisseur? If so, I could be the pup for you!     My name is Nomi and I'm a two year old heeler mix weighing in at 35 lbs. My foster mom isn't sure what I'm mixed with, but she's fairly certain I'm part pig. I snort like a pig when I'm happy, waddle like a pig when I walk and I even love to watch pigs on t.v. and try to make friends with them!      A rough life before Rescue Rovers taught me that humans can be scary, but I'm learning that humans can be really great. And once I fall in love with humans, I promise to love them forever. In fact, I'll spend every moment trying to show my humans how smart, funny and good I am.    I've also learned that I really love the indoor life. I'm crate trained and I love my crate! If my foster parents can't find me, I'm found curled up in my crate with a cozy blanket and toy. And not only am I house trained, but I know how to use the doggy door, and my foster parents trust me to leave me out when they're gone. The last time they left, they came home to find me on the couch watching Dateline! I'd prefer Animal Planet, but I couldn't figure out how to change the channel.     As you can see, once I get comfortable, my personality shines! My foster parents say that it may take a few weeks of patience and structure to get me fully comfortable in my new environment, but they say I'm worth it! I also need to take it nice and slow with new humans that visit until I know they won't hurt me. My foster parents have learned that lots of treats sure help!    My favorite activities include sunbathing, stuffy destruction, walks around the neighborhood, car rides for pup cups, chewing my bones, zoomies, playing tug, naps and bum scratches. In fact, my foster parents taught me the phrase, "Let me see that butt" and I throw my rump their way for some good scratching.  Because I'm a heeler, another activity I enjoy is herding, so my foster mom says that I'd do best in a home without kitties and with kids 12+.    One thing you should know is that I don't love ALL doggie friends, but I definitely like some of them. We'd need to meet up and make sure we're going to get along. I'd probably do best with a male buddy, but a mellow female buddy could work too! I'd also be perfectly content as an only dog that gets all the attention!    I'm very sensitive and just want my people to be happy with me. I've started training with my foster family and am very food motivated. I already know "sit", "down", "touch", "watch me", and "let me see that butt". I bet none of your other dog friends know that last one!  My foster mom says that I'll need to continue with training to keep building my confidence and be the happiest girl I can be. I can't wait to learn more!    If you could give a sweet girl like me love, safety and lots of snacks, you could be my forever family! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you looking for a well-behaved, puppy to join the family? Then Kristoff is your boy! Kristoff is a 5-month-old heeler/hound mix who is an absolute dream. For only being 5 months old he is smart as a whip and happy as a clam. Kristoff is already crate trained, knows how to use a dog door, knows some basic commands, and is mostly house-trained. We are still working on house training and he has only had 1 accident since being with his foster family. This pup loves being with his foster family (including his older pup brothers) and would do well with kids. Kristoff is an active pup and is used to (and needs) daily walks. He loves adventures like car rides, hiking, going to the park, and loves riding alongside bicycles. This pup is going to make an amazing addition to a well-deserving family. If you think that's you. Contact us for a meet and greet today! https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication If you would like to learn more about Kristoff please visit  followfido.weebly.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 22, 2023, 9:36 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I'm Violetear.  I am about 10 weeks old and they say I’m a cattle dog mix.  I don’t even know what a cattle is. I think I am a cute little snuggle girl.  I am a little shy when first meeting new people but if they give me some love, I am so happy to meet them.  My foster mom says I’m a good girl.   I love to play with my brother and sister and all the other foster pups in our home.  We run and play with toys.  I love exploring the yard and learning new things. I adore children.  I sleep all night in my pen and I am learning to go outside to go potty and try really hard to just go on puppy pads.  I still need more work.  I am learning sit and to walk with a leash on.  I love treats.  I love being held and snuggles.  I am still a baby so i need a family to help me learn all these things and more to be your bestest pup ever. I want a family that will love and snuggle me. I’m want to be included in all the adventures and fun and all the couch potatoing we can.  I would love to take a puppy class with you to  bond and learn all the important things. If this sounds good to you and you think I am cute, put your app in today to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 22, 2023, 9:36 am
