Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Mandrill M (they call me Maddie). I would really like to find my forever home for the holidays. Let me tell you about myself. I am about six months old and the best guess on my breed is heeler/hound mix, definitely some hound in there as I like to use  my nose and you will notice the floppy ears and I am sure you noticed my stunning eyes. My best part of the day is playing with my foster sister and watching her so I can learn. She is a good teacher. I am potty trained and I spend my nights in a little area made just for me where I feel safe. My foster Mom always gives me treats before bed to make sure I know it is a good place. I have learned some basic commands like sit and I know go potty! That’s when it’s cold outside and Mom is in a hurry. I am just starting to learn fetch and I am working really hard on off as I really love to hug and it’s hard for me not to want to jump up to hug you. I am a good traveler in the car so it’s easy to take me with you. I live with 2 cats but I do like to taunt them so only cats that are smart about dogs would be best. I get along great with all size of dogs as long as they are nice to me. Oh and I should not forget to tell you that I am great on a leash. The hardest thing for me is meeting new people. I am very timid so I really need someone who is patient and willing to let me get familiar with you before you expect those hugs but once I am comfortable get ready because I will want lots of loves and reassurance. I am eager to learn and adventures would help me to build confidence and help me to bond with you. I will get very attached to you because I will be looking to you for reassurance to know I am safe. I am so excited to find my new home and become part of a family. If you think you could love me for a life time please apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2024, 8:15 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Here’s the 411. I was cruising around the streets in Central Utah when the local Sheriff’s office decided that wasn’t a good thing. There was the old good cop/bad cop routine because I came into their holding pen packin’. I played along and answered their questions. Name: Olive M age: 1 1/2 yrs breed: Heeler/Hound mix (best guess) weight: 42 lbs. I wouldn’t give in to the question of how much I was packing, (I didn’t know!). The Sheriff knew I couldn’t stay and an arrangement was made for me to go to a rescue and that’s how I came to be with Rescue Rovers and my fosters. I’m so glad they took me in! I’m no longer packing pups; I delivered 6 beautiful pups and now I’m looking for my forever home. I’m house trained and walk well on a leash with the right collar. I’m timid with people I haven’t met but once I know & trust you I will be by your side and a good companion. I LOVE to play fetch! Being a submissive dog, a firm but gentle hand will do for me with encouragement to get me to follow your direction. My energy level is med-high. I need a home with children 8 and older because I’m unsure of younger kids; their movements are scary for me. I’m a hound mix and small animals are prey to me so no cats please!! If you think I’m the girl for you, apply to meet me https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2024, 8:15 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi future family. We are the Herdman girls; Gladys and Imogene. We are 6-month-old red heeler mixes.  We love to play with toys and chase each other around the house and yard. We are partially housetrained but will probably need some more work and have just started kennel training. We do great, however, in our indoor dog run while our foster family works. We are very jumpy with people and may hear little ones so a family with older kids may be a better fit for us. We are working on following commands like sit, down and off. We would both love homes with a lot of physical and mental exercise.  We love people but feel a little bit uneasy if approached too quickly. Gladys is the girl with only one brown spot on her face. She is they shyer of the two and likes to watch before she decides to join in play. She loves belly rubs from her humans. Imogene is the toy stealer and wants to climb on her people’s laps to cuddle. If you think one of these girls could be the pup for you, apply today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2024, 8:15 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi Rover fans!  I’m Imogene Herdman, my friends call me Genie.   I’m a 9 month old, super lovable, 40lb heeler mix female, and I absolutely love affection and humans of all sizes.  I get along great with dogs of all sizes as well, and I’m great at taking cues from them about playing.  I love me a chew toy, and sometimes I’ll run with one to see who wants to chase me, it’s adorable.  I’m even learning that when I bring the ball back you’ll throw it for me.  I’ve never met a cat but my foster parents think I would be fine.   I’m a medium energy girl and definitely need some daily exercise to be my best self.  I’m crate trained, potty trained, dog door trained, and honestly haven’t ever done a single naughty thing in the house.  I would love a home that is active and that will involve me in everything they do.  If I sound like your kind of girl head over to https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication and ask for Imogene Herdman!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2024, 8:15 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi everyone, I’m Scoop. I am mixed breed dog and I am almost 4 months old. My foster family sometimes calls me Scooper. I am the biggest of my brothers and sisters and will probably be about 50 lbs. when I grow up.  I am almost housetrained, but sometimes I forget I need to go outside to potty. I sleep all night in a kennel. My favorite things are chasing around the yard, wrestling with my brother, eating, napping, watching TV and cuddling with my foster parents; oh and treats. I love treats. I would benefit from training so I can learn to be the bestest boi ever. If you can give me the love and time I need, I will love you right back.  If you think I would fit in your family apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2024, 8:15 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This famous looking boy is Bugle. He is 3 ½ month old heeler mix pup. Recently we confirmed what we had been thinking for weeks - Bugle is deaf. If he hears anything at all, it is very little. This doesn’t slow him down a bit! He is a super smart boy and is learning hand signals and doing a great job with commands like come and sit. Bugle is a bit behind his siblings on housetraining but is half way there and does great when let out regularly. Bugle loves to play with toys and get pets. He often climbs up on his people’s laps for snuggles. He also likes to watch TV if there is enough action happening. He sleeps all night in a kennel but will loudly let you know when he is awake and wants to go outside. Bugle’s family will need to be committed to extra training to help him be the best boi he can be. If your family can provide a great home for Bugle please apply to meet him today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2024, 8:15 pm
