Story
Rein is a big sweetheart. She is around 18-20 months. I rescued her from the pound a little over a year ago. She loves tug of war, walks, and watching out the window. She has a lot of energy, but it's easy to get out and afterwards she is just a cuddle big. She is great at nights, as soon as it's bed time, she will be out. She is very well trained and crate trained. She loves her crate, it's her safe place. She is also the goofiest dog I have ever met. You will never stop being entertained watching her exist. She will find the weirdest way to accomplish a task. All in all a wonderful dog. Once she connects with you, she is attached. I wish I could keep her, but I don't have enough time to give her the attention and energy she deserves. I am looking for someone with a backyard so she can run and be free. I am looking for someone who will unconditionally love and care for her. I am looking for her forever home. And if it's possible, for the ability to visit her in the future.

Meet Rambo! This 2-year-old pup is a sweet, sensitive soul who's still learning to navigate the big, exciting world. While he may be a bit reserved at first, with some patience and gentle encouragement, Rambo starts to show his affectionate and curious side. He's very smart and eager to learn, and he walks beautifully on a leash-ready for peaceful strolls or quiet adventures. A bit of a wallflower, Rambo will thrive in a calm, supportive home where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace. He's also athletic and enjoys being active once he's comfortable. Story
Hi there, I'm Spot - yes, like the dog in the book, but way cooler and with better treats. At 5 years old, I'm the perfect mix of play buddy and chill companion. I'm a true best friend: I'll hang out while you get stuff done, but the second you're free? I'm ready for walks, treats, and belly rubs (in that order, please). I know my basics, I'm sharp as a tack, and I've got that classic cattle dog confidence - but don't worry, I use my powers for good (and snacks). Life's just better with a Spot by your side!*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots program*Qualifies for Senior-to-Senior programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tri Color Weight: 42 Age: 5yrs 6mths 1wks

Hi, I'm Bluey - but don't worry, I won't turn your life into a cartoon (unless you want me to, in which case... cue theme music). I'm a 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog with the soul of a loyal sidekick and the smarts to match. I know my basic commands, love toys and treats, and I walk like a dream on a leash. I'm more of a wallflower than a party crasher - but once I warm up, I'll be your quiet shadow, always nearby and ready for some love (or snacks, let's be honest). I don't need constant attention, but I'll always be here, tail wagging, just happy to be your Bluey.*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots program*Qualifies for Senior-to-Senior programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: Tri Color Secondary Color: Ticked Weight: 51 Age: 6yrs 6mths 2wks

Meet Wally! This 5-year-old sweetheart is the ultimate SIDEKICK-laid back, loyal, and always happy to be nearby. Story
Milly is a Mini Red Tri Australian Shepherd. We acquired her from a friend who bought her brother in a litter. She is potty trained, and crate trained. Milly is trained to follow you off leash on a hike or a run. She can also follow basic commands. She has been on many trail runs and fishing trips. She's great at playing fetch and loves being outside. Milly will truly be right by your side like a best friend when she warms up to you and get's to know you. She is instinctually a very anxious and nervous dog. Her ideal situation would be a family with no young kids or other dogs or animals. Patience is key when getting to know her. Additionally, a yard would be helpful for her to run around daily. We are saddened to have to make this decision as she has shown a pattern of aggressive behavior towards our 2-year-old son. We have weighed our options and decided she needs a different environment to thrive.
