My ex rescued him from the shelter. We broke up and now I don’t have a place to keep him. Also I don’t have the time with work. He has been partial to me and gets jealous of people and other dogs but once he gets to know the other people he’s not as protective of me. he will nip at people if they get too close to me until he gets to know you. It usually takes about two weeks. He is very calm he’s not a chewer. Just really content being with his owner.

I'm full of energy so I absolutely love play time and walks, but I also enjoy lazy cuddle sessions and down-time with my bone. I tend to bark when I'm excited and it can be a little loud, so training would likely be fun and beneficial. I don't love being in my crate during the day since I want to be involved in anything my human is doing, but sleeping in it after getting my bedtime treat is just fine. I know how to use a doggy door, and I'll take myself out to potty when I need to. I'm extremely friendly and I'd love to find a home with or without other dogs, I'm flexible! Cats are okay too, I mainly just ignore them. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I’m Jazzper, and I’m looking for a foster home! I’m a very handsome, almost 6 year old Aussie mix. I weigh about 50lbs and I am a very good boy…with some quirks. I am super duper smart. I’m also very trainable, and I have a TON of training under my belt! I also have a dedicated trainer that will keep working with me weekly in a new foster home. I am fully potty trained and crate trained and I know lots of commands. I am active and fun! I love a daily walk, hiking as often as you can take me, paddleboarding, swimming and all the other adventures! I’ll even play soccer with you (for real!) Here’s the stuff that’s harder. I don’t really like other dogs. I have coexisted in a home with multiple other dogs for over 6 months and I’ve made great progress in my interactions. But it’s also really clear that I would definitely be happiest as an only dog in the home. I am muzzle trained and very comfortable wearing my muzzle when we go on adventures. I’m not really reactive anymore, but the muzzle keeps everyone safe and helps me remember to be a good boy. I’m not a fan of kids. Children over 12 would be fine. Children over 14 would be great. At 18 months old and 28 pounds, I am a great medium-sized companion—small enough for your lap, but sturdy enough to run and play with the big dogs. I am naturally easygoing, smart, and eager to please. I absolutely love squeaky toys, puzzles, and enrichment games. Treats? I have zero standards and maximum enthusiasm. I rarely meet a snack, apple slice, or blueberry I don’t love, which makes training a great bonding activity for us. I am fantastic with other dogs and have a respectful play style. I am also great on the go—I enjoy car rides, travel well in my crate, and love making new friends. Like any young dog, I am still fine-tuning my leash manners and recall, and I occasionally look to my person for reassurance in brand-new situations. Here are fast facts: Samie is an Australian Cattle dog mix, 18 months old and full grown at about 28 pounds. He interacts excellently with other dogs. His compatibility with cats and young children is unknown as he has not been tested with them yet. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Samie is a best friend with a huge heart. We don’t know much about his past other than the fact that when he was found as a small puppy, he had a skin infection. It's all cleared up now, but it did leave him with scarring on his face. Some people think those markings are scary, but they don't both Samie! He shows up every day with a wagging tail, eager spirit and a total willingness to connect. He will thrive with a kind, encouraging human who uses positive reinforcement to show him the ropes! We’ve had Serena since she was a puppy. She is now 7 years old. She is beautiful and so smart. She is exceptionally kind and very mild. Really athletic and loves to play! Kids will love her! She doesn’t bark hardly ever and is a wonderful companion. She is healthy and well behaved. We have never had any problems with her!We can’t take her to our next home, unfortunately. We love her and will miss her so much! We want to make sure she goes to a good home where she’ll get lots of love, exercise and attention. Anybody who gets to have her in their home and with their family will be very blessed. She is such a sweet addition!
