They said “heeler mix,” but honestly? I think I’m secretly a lab mix in disguise because I’m all wiggles, cuddles, and “please pet me forever.” My Puppy Thoughts I love cuddles. I love belly rubs. I'm an 8-month-old brindle boy with tiger stripes, big ears that stand straight up, and a tongue that's almost always hanging out because I'm just that happy. I weigh about 20 pounds and I'm likely just about done growing, so you get a puppy who will stay a perfect, easy-to-take-anywhere size. My foster family is pretty sure there's some short-legged breed mixed in there somewhere, which might explain why I'm so darn cute. I LOVE other dogs! I'm a playful pup who's always up for a romp, and most of the time I even know when it's time to call it quits and settle down. My very favorite hobby is carrying around soft toys, and the bigger the better. If it's larger than me, that just makes it more fun to parade around the house. I've already been neutered, and I'm doing great with both crate training and potty training. My foster says I'm *so* close to a perfect 10/10, so I just need a family to help me finish strong! I haven't had the chance to meet any cats or kids yet, so we'll have to see how I do with them. I'm a red cattle dog mix, about 3 years old and around 45 pounds, with a white stripe down my face and freckles on my nose and toes. I'm spayed and ready to find my people! I came into rescue with my puppies. They've all grown up and moved on (or are about to), so now it's my turn. Being a house dog is new to me, but I'm a quick study and I'm learning more every day in my foster home. My house and crate training are a work in progress but some nights I'm left out of the crate for bedtime I end up finding my way back to my safe space in my crate. My foster mom says I'm the perfect mix of cuddly and goofy. One minute I'm being silly and making you laugh, and the next I'm snuggled up next to you like I've been doing it my whole life. My favorite things are just observing the world while we go on walks (I'm learning to be more confident), and being by your side. Also, did I mention I have a thing for army crawling along the backyard? It sure makes my foster family giggle and I love making my people happy! I get along with other dogs, as long as they're the calm, polite type. Dogs who are too wild and bouncy are a bit much for me, so a mellow canine sibling (or being your one and only) would suit me just fine. Kids and cats TBD, I've never met one yet! At 18 months old and 28 pounds, I am a great medium-sized companion—small enough for your lap, but sturdy enough to run and play with the big dogs. I am naturally easygoing, smart, and eager to please. I absolutely love squeaky toys, puzzles, and enrichment games. Treats? I have zero standards and maximum enthusiasm. I rarely meet a snack, apple slice, or blueberry I don’t love, which makes training a great bonding activity for us. I am fantastic with other dogs and have a respectful play style. I am also great on the go—I enjoy car rides, travel well in my crate, and love making new friends. Like any young dog, I am still fine-tuning my leash manners and recall, and I occasionally look to my person for reassurance in brand-new situations. We don’t know much about his past other than the fact that when he was found as a small puppy, he had a skin infection. It's all cleared up now, but it did leave him with scarring on his face.
