Romina’s story almost ended before it truly began. 💔 She had very little time left when we came across a random post and knew we had to act immediately. That moment of urgency is what saved her life. Now, this 3-year-old mini Aussie mix is getting ready for a brand-new beginning — she is being fostered in Des Moines, WA, thanks to one of our dearest adopters who opened their home and heart to her. Romina is active, playful, friendly, and incredibly smart. She loves puzzles, enjoys walks, rides and water! She does great on leash, is potty trained, and is an all-around fun, sweet companion. She would thrive with another dog friend to help release her energy and with a family who has the time, space, and commitment to fill her days with love and care and take her on adventures evrywhere! She is smart, loyal, affectionate, and walks well on a leash.Mika lives with children and cats and generally does well, but her strong cattle dog herding instincts can sometimes cause her to become reactive toward them. Because of this, we believe she would be happiest in a home without children or cats.Our family has recently returned to working in the office and is away from home 9+ hours a day, which is not ideal for an active, intelligent working breed. We are looking for a loving home that can provide her with the time, attention, and activity she deserves.
