Romina’s story almost ended before it truly began. 💔 She had very little time left when we came across a random post and knew we had to act immediately. That moment of urgency is what saved her life. Now, this 3-year-old mini Aussie mix is getting ready for a brand-new beginning — she is being fostered in Des Moines, WA, thanks to one of our dearest adopters who opened their home and heart to her. Romina is active, playful, friendly, and incredibly smart. She loves puzzles, enjoys walks, rides and water! She does great on leash, is potty trained, and is an all-around fun, sweet companion. She would thrive with another dog friend to help release her energy and with a family who has the time, space, and commitment to fill her days with love and care and take her on adventures evrywhere! She was given a second chance just in time — now she’s waiting for her forever. If you feel a connection, send in an application and let’s see if you’re her perfect match. ✨

Story
• Meet most beautiful and playful Piper! Piper is young and small, close to one year old and she weighs only 32lbs. Miss Piper was rescued and fostered in eastern Washington but is ready for transport and her forever family! Piper is an active youngster and needs exercise and mental stimulation. She has received training with her foster but will need you to keep up her training too. Piper is so smart and eager to please that training is fun and rewarding. Piper would be a great candidate for agility and/or flyball too. This girl can jump! Piper loves attention and would love to be your lapdog. She is affectionate and will follow you around as you’re shadow. She has shown to be good with cats – she was scared of fosters cats at first, but now walks up to them to sniff them and moves on. She doesn't really care to play with them, but also doesn't care if they rub on her. Piper has been around kids too; though she will need you to watch her energy around the little ones. She is submissive with people and sensitive to correction. She is definitely a true people-pleaser. Piper is house-trained and crate-trained and likes her crate a lot, treating it as her quiet space. Piper currently prefers women and is not quite as comfortable around men. We are working on that and she will warm up after her intros. Same goes for her comfort level with her dog pals. Piper prefers male dogs. She will need slow introductions with her new canine girl- friends, as always! Charming and gorgeous Piper is very vocal. This young playful pup will be ‘chatty’ when she’s seeking your attention or and is so fun and active. Piper is spayed and fully vaccinated, including Lepto. She has also received flea and de-worming treatments. To meet this adorable and amazing Heeler baby, or for more info and an application- please email Fay at fkrokower@msn.com and please include your phone number. Perfect pal Piper can’t wait to meet you and her new forever family!

Story
Looking for a foster family Meet Thumper! If you’ve ever wanted a best friend with oversized ears and an even bigger personality, meet Thumper! At around 8 years old, this adorable Cattle Dog mix has mastered the art of being the perfect companion. Thumper took one look at Bambi and said, “Cute movie, but I think we all know who carried it.” Now he’s ready for his sequel: Thumper Gets Adopted. Same iconic ears. Fewer rabbits. Much better ending. • Great with dogs and lives with older children 12+ • House manners of a seasoned pro • Sweet, loyal, and eager to make his people happy • Loves being part of whatever you're doing—whether it's a walk around the neighborhood or a cozy evening on the couch • Great energy for yard time and adventures but has that adult dog “off switch” when playtime is over • 8 years old and about 32lbs This handsome guy is proof that age only makes dogs better. He's affectionate, easygoing, and always ready to brighten your day with a wagging tail and those unforgettable ears. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who's past the puppy antics but still has plenty of life and love to give, he's ready to meet you! Thumper is being cared for in Olympia, WA but is actively looking for a foster home he can stay at until he finds his forever family. Transportation can be arranged for the perfect meet and greet. Thumper is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.

Story
The dogs are sisters. They have been learning fast despite being a little stubborn due to being .25 German shepherd. They are very sweet and love to climb into your lap and snuggle with you. They will play with kids, but don’t like to have their faces smothered. I tug on their ears and tails, so they are used to that. Their biggest issue is that our yards fencing is not quite adequate and they will force their way under to chase wild rabbits into the neighbors yard. Unfortunately our neighbor is not dog friendly, nor has the patience to wait for them to be trained and had called animal control before I was able to fix the situation. The risk of additional fines or worse, having the dogs taken, is too great.

Story
Oreo is a staff favorite. She is a very loving social dog. She loves long walks and having her belly rubbed.  Her ideal day is laying out in the sun and getting treats. She does get along with other dogs as long as there is a proper introduction. Oreo is often overlooked because she is an older dog. She would make a great companion or family pet. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Oreo can be transported any where in the United States and Canada. ##1499371##
