Story
Meet Tony Stark Super smart, high energy, loving and playful - he's all that and more! If you're looking for a sidekick to share your active lifestyle, Tony Stark would love to meet you. A kind person found this scared pup when he was dumped on a country road in Central Washington in summer 2023, They asked us to find him a great forever home ... and he's been in our care ever since. Tony really likes people. He is friendly and polite to adults and older kids. He hasn't been exposed to young children while in our care, and he may be a little bouncy for timid or very small children, but would probably do well with kids who are kind and understand good manners around dogs. He shares his foster home with several dogs and does well with them. He's playful and friendly with well-mannered dogs. However, he is not safe with cats or other small prey animals. This agile, athletic boy has loads of energy and enjoys life to the last drop - especially hikes and playtime. He would probably be a great companion even on challenging hikes, or to cheer you on during your daily run or bike ride. But once he's had his daily workout and had an opportunity to use his brain, he's the best snuggle-buddy, with a plush, soft coat that's a delight to pet. Tony needs a human who will love that he's very smart and highly trainable, because he really, really loves to learn. This is not a dog who can spend the rest of his life hanging out in your backyard; he's exceptionally smart, and is looking for someone who is interested in advanced training, or who enjoys plenty of stimulating hikes, games and adventures. He enjoys rough-housing with friendly dogs of compatible size, hanging out with his human, exploring new places, learning new things, playing chase, chomping down on bones and chews, and figuring out puzzle games. He needs a secure yard - although he doesn't go over fences, he will open doors and gates if they're not well secured. However, he doesn't wander - he's just curious about what's out there. Generally Tony is quiet (apart from excited play-growls). He may bark when someone comes to the door or if he sees something suspicious. Tony's house manners are generally good. He's polite, he's house-trained and crate-trained, and he waits for an invitation before he gently jumps up to give you a hug. However he's young and he does have a few bad habits. He'll chew when bored - and if you don't provide something he wants to chew, he'll find something he likes. His recall is excellent, and he walks well on a leash. He knows a lot of commands, including sit, stay, come, back up, wait, leave it, kennel, outside, inside, load up, let's go, spin and shake. Tony has been neutered, microchipped, treated for external and internal parasites, and is up to date on vaccinations. His estimated date of birth is 6/15/2023, and he weighs around 55 lbs. What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me:• I`m a bit shy at first but after we hang out a few times youll see that I`m a goofy, playful lady!• I do best in calm homes where there’s not a ton of hustle and bustle.• Give me some open space and I’ll show you how much I love to explore!• I’m still working on my confidence and just need some positive reinforcement and patience.**My new family can name their own adoption fee!**

Story
** Currently fostered in Houston Texas, but available for adoption out of state via rescue transportation, included in adoption fee. Offer Zoom call to virtually meet prior to adoption. Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January2023, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has energy and he loves to run and play, but can be a couch potato too. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Barkley likes other dogs if they are female, but has not been a fan of males. We believe it's from a lack of social time with other dogs because he doesn't come off as just an aggressive pup, he just seems like he was kept in a yard and ignored a lot of the time prior to rescue and may not be familiar with most dogs. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. For more information on how to adopt Barkley, contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com for an application.

MEET CASEY Casey is described by his foster mom as happy go lucky, spunky, and oh so lovable. He doesn’t know a stranger and whether it be an adult, child, or dog, Casey will be best friends with anyone! He is potty and kennel trained and walks very well on leash! Casey enjoys playing with other dogs or his human, but can also be self entertained with his toys. He makes a great gym companion and will lay there cheering you on while you complete your workout. It’s no question Casey is certainly the fur baby you were looking for all along! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NAF/Dog
