To apply for Captain Jack please visit Northwest Rescue Collective, www.northwestrescuecollective.com Adoption Fee $300 Captain Jack is a one-year-old cattle dog mix who proves every single day that you don’t need four legs to live life at full speed. This goofy little pirate is all about fun, friendship, and figuring out this whole “trusting humans” thing one step (well… hop) at a time. He may have had a rough start and can be a bit skittish about pets from strangers and doorways, but he’s already making big strides and learning that people can actually be pretty awesome. What he lacks in legs, he more than makes up for in personality—Jack is playful, silly, and absolutely thrives around other dogs. Having a canine buddy is basically his dream setup, and he’d love a home that lets him keep building confidence while still getting plenty of playtime. Loves other dogs—his ideal lifestyle is “live, laugh, wrestle” Good with cats—he minds his business like a polite gentleman Playful, goofy, and always ready for a good time A little shy with people at first, but improving every day Nervous around petting and doorways, will need patience and encouragement Caption Jack is building trust and gaining confidence more and more each day! Once he bonds, expect a loyal little sidekick for life! Neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.

Story
Romina’s story almost ended before it truly began. 💔 She had very little time left when we came across a random post and knew we had to act immediately. That moment of urgency is what saved her life. Now, this 3-year-old mini Aussie mix is getting ready for a brand-new beginning — she is being fostered in Des Moines, WA, thanks to one of our dearest adopters who opened their home and heart to her. Romina is active, playful, friendly, and incredibly smart. She loves puzzles, enjoys walks, rides and water! She does great on leash, is potty trained, and is an all-around fun, sweet companion. She would thrive with another dog friend to help release her energy and with a family who has the time, space, and commitment to fill her days with love and care and take her on adventures evrywhere! She was given a second chance just in time — now she’s waiting for her forever. If you feel a connection, send in an application and let’s see if you’re her perfect match. ✨

My previous owner described me as friendly.I weigh 58lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!

Story
Hi! My name is KK and I am available for adoption.I was originally brought to RASKC on January 14, 2026. Then I was adopted and returned on April 23, 2026 by no fault of my own. My adopter just felt like it was difficult to manage their children`s extra-curricular activities and to be able to give me all the attention I deserve!I am a small guy weighing at only 20.0 lbs! :)My previous owner says this about me, `KK is a smart, loving, and loyal dog who learns quickly and enjoys being part of the family. He is very treat-motivated, which makes training fun and easy. He already knows `sit,` `down,` `roll,` and `high five,` and is always excited to learn more!He is well-trained at home. He is potty-trained and sleeps quietly through the night in a crate, often going in on his own when he`s ready to rest. He does well with routine and enjoys having a calm, structured environment. He loves being around other dogs and enjoys playtime, especially with friends who can match his energy. He can get a little excited when playing, but he means well and just loves having fun. If you`re looking for a smart, affectionate companion who is eager to learn and bond, I could be a great match!`I am currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me :)
