If the potential adopter is willing to pay the fees & charges we will accept PayPal. Beautiful & very sweet Maggie is so incredibly lucky to be alive. Her mum who we have in the rescue & rescued from death. Aussie was pregnant in a high kill shelter in CA & was going to be euthanized heavily pregnant because no one was coming to help her. Well we did & she gave birth to 7 puppies, but unfortunately 1 went to heaven. Maggie was one of the 6 & the only female with her 5 brothers. They were all loved & looked after in a foster home & once she & her brothers were old enough they came back to WA & now Miss Maggie is looking for a forever home & a wonderful family to love her. Maggie is such a very soft gentle natured little lady compared to the huge personalities of her brothers. She is a little shy at first until she knows you then her loving, adventurous & curious puppy personality comes out. She loves, loves other dogs & playing with them & absolutely needs another dog in the home for her to thrive. She likes sitting on a chair & looking out the window in her foster home & taking it all in. She will also want to sleep in the bed with you & adores throwing herself around in comfy blankets. When she is comfortable her tail does not stop wagging. She is still a puppy & would still need to be taught her puppy manners. She also enjoys going up to her foster mum & resting her head on her & being close to her. She adores being held & kissed. She is such a lovely innocent girl. We also put Maggie into a daycare to socialize her with all different dog personalities & she has done well. Maggie’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for her safety. She enjoys going out into the backyard in her foster home & running around playing with her friends & siblings. In CA she also enjoyed laying out in the sun & relaxing. Maggie has been great with her baths because she started having them with us in her loving foster home the moment she was able to so she is used to them. She loves both men & woman once she knows them. Maggie is a big eater as she is a growing puppy. She is not shy about eating once she is comfortable. Maggie rode beautifully in the car with her foster mum & enjoys a good journey & will also once she knows & trusts her new family to. She needs continued work walking on her harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Maggie where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Maggie is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her. Maggie has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. In her foster home she is with dogs. A fenced backyard is mandatory for Maggie. Maggie is roughly just 7 months old & 22 lbs & is perhaps a Australian cattle & what she is mixed with we are not sure at all. She is female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets & she is microchipped. She was given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies, dewormed. Maggie has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & did well with the cat in the foster home but doesn’t mean she will do well with all cats. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Maggie was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Maggie’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Maggie potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Maggie & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Maggie who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. We have spent so much more money on Maggie than her adoption fee even comes close to covering. Maggie has an adoption fee of $885 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

Well we did & she gave birth to 7 puppies, but unfortunately 1 went to heaven. Morgan was one of the remaining 6 babies. They were all loved & looked after in a foster home in CA & once he & is siblings were old enough they came back to WA & now Morgan is looking for a forever home & a wonderful family to love him. UPDATE: We are absolutely devastated to say that Morgan the very loyal boy is yet again looking for his forever home. He is losing his home because he has become protective of his mum & dad in his own home & when they have guests over he has become fearful of other people & nipped at them & lunged at them while in his home. While with us in our rescue, Morgan was always a gentleman & loved everyone & was our vet’s favorite boy. Morgan is a rescue, we are looking for a forever home for him where he has a quite home now & not lots of guests. He does love other dogs. His previous family said: - Loves walks, puzzles, chew toys, cuddling on the couch, playing in the yard, and most of all fetch. - Sleeps until around 7:30AM, is mellow for a few hours, then is ready for physical activity and mental stimulation. Naps multiple times a day and settles down for the night around 8:00PM. - Eats 3 x a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. - Highly intelligent and very food driven. Training with treats has been very successful. - Has learned the commands come, sit, stay, lay-down, shake, go to your bed, off and drop it. - Prefers to be with his humans. The most time he has been left at home alone was 2.5 hours and he was not destructive. Morgan is shy & nervous at first when he doesn’t know you but once he warms up to you, he is SUPER sweet & just wants to be near you! He just wanted me to keep petting him so he was standing up to reach my hands. Whoever adopts him will be so lucky once he warms up to them. He is so precious one our wonderful ladies at our vets said while Morgan was there getting his medical taken care of. She also said she wants to say hi to Morgan when she comes in & he gets so excited to see her & he is such a sweet boy. Morgan is such a lovely natured little lad & compared to his other brothers who have so much energy. Of course being a puppy he is adventurous & has the curious puppy personality come out. He gets along so well with other dogs & will play with other dogs & he could be the king of his new house to if he got all the attention. He will also want to sleep in the bed with you & adores throwing himself around in comfy blankets. When he is comfortable his tail does not stop wagging. He is still a puppy & would still need to be taught his puppy manners. He also adores being close to people & so wants to be held & kissed. Hello! My name is Winnie. I came to RASKC as a stray and now I`m looking for a new home! I`m a very shy little girl, easily scared by fast movements or loud noises. Once I`m sure I can trust you, I`m very sweet and politely seek affection from my person. I`ve shown a little interest in squeaky toys but I`m a little too scared to really let loose yet - I`m sure I`ll get more playful in a home. I would do best in a quiet, predictable home where I can settle in and learn to trust my people. I`m more likely to succeed in an teen/adult home. I am 43lbs which makes me a medium size dog. My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Hi! My name is Milo and I am available for adoption.I was brought to RASKC as a stray on April 15, 2024 and then relinquished by my owner because they could not provide secure confinement for me. I`m still a young dog with a lot to learn! I`m working on my manners here at RASKC and am doing well. I`m very social with other dogs and have been going to playgroup while I`m here - playing with my friends helps me get my energy out so I can focus when the humans need me to. People would describe me as `fun` and `full of life.` I`m so ready to find my new family and embark on my next adventure this summer! Please know that I am quite athletic and a bit of an escape artist so secure confinement for me in the yard will be a must so I can stay safe. I weigh 53lbs and am considered a medium size dog. My personality color is GREEN. I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!

Story
** Currently fostered in Houston Texas, but available for adoption out of state via rescue transportation, included in adoption fee. Offer Zoom call to virtually meet prior to adoption. Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January2023, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has energy and he loves to run and play, but can be a couch potato too. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Barkley likes other dogs if they are female, but has not been a fan of males. We believe it's from a lack of social time with other dogs because he doesn't come off as just an aggressive pup, he just seems like he was kept in a yard and ignored a lot of the time prior to rescue and may not be familiar with most dogs. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. For more information on how to adopt Barkley, contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com for an application.

Story
2-years-old, smart, snuggly, strong-willed, 35 lbs! Will need savvy, experienced human support learning how to be around other dogs again, been a solo dog the last year and a half. 3 week board and train & some solo training. Balance trained. He has a water drinking behavior and takes desmopressin to retain fluid (every 6 hours during the day), but this seems to be slowly stabilizing. Insured through Trupanion, has established vet care in Seattle and had loads of tests done in internal medicine which determined his water drinking and urination is behavioral (polydipsia/polyuria). He is house-trained and walks to the door to go out. He has been cared for, loved, and currently adored. 90% there with fetch, walks perfectly on leash, decent recall, kennel trained. Knows: no, up, down, sit, off, leave it, let's go, here. Up to date with all vaccines. Can hike or snuggle all day, just tell him what his job is. In short, Pony is an amazing, intelligent, loving, fun dog!

These pups are in Newcastle, Washington too!

Talk about right place at the right time with our foster mum & for beautiful Flower, her sister Bambi & her mum Mia. Our foster mum was at one of the very high kill shelters in CA for us rescuing a sweet soul when a family come along who were going to dump all 3. The usual disgusting story of, we are moving so we can’t take our beloved dogs with us story. Flower, Bambi & Mia were being dropped off at the shelter as they were moving & didn’t want them anymore. Thankfully our foster mum said we would help them & we did. Mia the mum had given birth to Flower & Bambi & at the tiny age of 8 weeks they were going to be dumped. Talk about cruel & heartless. Not to mention Mia of course was frightened & didn’t know what was going on? But those days are over for these beautiful babies. Without our outstanding foster mum this would not of happened & who knows what would of happened to this little angel, her sister & mum. Flower who is now looking for her very own forever home & who will never give up on her again & dump her & love her just as her foster mum & we do. After we got Flower all her care with her amazing foster mum she will be bought back to WA state from CA where she can’t wait to find her loving forever home. Flower a little lady, how could anyone dump her & let her down is shocking. Her foster mum said she is so very sweet & full of sweet puppy love of energy. She is your typical puppy of eat, poop, play sleep. Flower just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think of what almost happened to her. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA. Flower is such a good girl her foster mum said, she is super sweet, she is so quite & lives to be near you. You look at her & she looks straight into your soul. Flower is a good eater, she loves to eat & put on a few pounds since being rescued. Flower loves sleeping with her foster mum & wants to sleep with her & does not like to sleep alone. So we are only looking for a home where she can sleep with her family. Flower’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for her safety. Flower has been great with her baths because she started having them with us the moment she was rescued so she is used to them. Flower rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & she rides in a car seat & is used to riding in one. She still needs continued work walking on her harness & leash. We are looking for a forever home for Flower where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Flower loves other dogs & their company. She must go to a forever home with another dog present in the home who is young & playful just as Flower is. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lady only. Flower is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love him as she should be loved & be patient with her & work on her potty training with her & teach her, her puppy manners. Flower has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. She must go to a home with other playful loving dogs in her forever home. Flower is roughly 1.6 years old & 28 lbs & is perhaps a spaniel terrier/Australian mini shepherd mix, but what she is mixed with we are not sure at all. She is female, being spayed by laser. Flower is, microchipped, given flea treatment, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Flower, with all of her medical care than her adoption fee comes close to even covering, her spay by laser, all of her puppy shots & shots, microchip transport feed bringing her back to WA state, etc. Flower has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & could care less about the cat in her foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Flower was conceived so we do not know who both her parents were but we do know who her mum is & she is in a picture with flower & we have her in the rescue also. But it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Flower’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Flower has been through many traumas in her short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for her care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Flower & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. What these sweet souls see, hear & endure is incomprehensible. Marley was part of a breeder dumping dogs. He actually wanted Marley & many others gone immediately in Indiana but was willing to work with us. We have to move fast because unfortunately in these situations, when they want them gone, there is no messing around for their health & safety. Being breeding dogs they are money making machines only & their time had come to an end with this breeder. Beautiful Marley & her other 9 friends were living outside all day & night in cages. Once we knew about them, there was no way we were leaving them there. We organized to rescue all of them & our wonderful team drove & picked up everyone. Of course the were all so filthy & stinking so badly & some were matted to the skin & needing grooming immediately & medical care. He did not care & just wanted them gone. Rescuing the breeding dogs is an extremely expensive situation each time & it involves a lot of expenses in transportation & so much medical. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Marley how she is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home & her other friends. Marley was bought back to WA state where she is now so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever family. Look at this stunning girl, she is such a sweetheart even though humans have been so bitterly cruel to her. Her world changed within hours of a phone call & a car ride along with her friends. No more living outside for this girl in a cage. She now adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something she did not get to experience ever until she was rescued. Nor toys, love, her own bed. All the things she should of experienced. In her previous foster home, she loves to be loved, held & cuddled. She has met several new people & been very social with everyone she meets. Her foster mum in CO said she was her love, the sweetest easiest girl. She loved her dearly. Marley is a wonderful eater. She would still need work walking on her harness & leash as it’s all completely new to her as she was never taught until we rescued her. She was just a breeding machine to make money off her back. This girl has been so good with all different breeds of dogs & has not met a dog she doesn’t like. We have tested Marley in a daycare environment & she has done well with both men & woman. Marley’s new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. She now adores going outside & having a run & play & the freedom to enjoy being outside. Marley rides beautifully in the car & is good with being bathed. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Marley as you can imagine spent the beginning of her life outside in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Marley where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Marley is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her & never give up on her. UPDATE: Marley was adopted to a forever home over 8 months ago to a home with little girls & she likes the little girls in the home but her family thinks with the addition children that enter the home it’s to much for her & will go hide until the evening until the home settles down. So we need to find her a new loving forever home. She adores her dog friend in the home & they play together. We want her to go to a home with no children but absolutely must have another dog in the home for her to play with. She is a sweetheart of a girl & will be your everything. Marley has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in her foster homes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. It’s mandatory for her to go to a forever home with another dog present. Marley’s forever home must have a fully fenced backyard, this is mandatory. Marley is roughly 25 lbs, she is 3 years old & a mini Australian shepherd, but what she is mixed with we are not sure. She is female, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, she had a dental scale & polish & dental x-rays. She is microchipped, she is up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed several times. We have spent far more on Marley with paying for her to get away from a breeder in Indiana to get her out with bringing her to WA with her boarding costs, transport costs, her medical care in WA, getting her spayed by laser, etc than her adoption fee even comes close to covering. Marley has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Marley was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Marley’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Marley potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Marley & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Marley who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Marley has an adoption fee of $1250 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Story
Ella is a sweet girl that loves to play ball and go for walks and be active doing something stimulating. I have had Ella her whole life and due to my job and situation am unable to keep her. I am sad about the possibility of finding something that is better for her right now but her separation anxiety and need for stimulation is hard for me to manage. We have moved quite a bit due to my job and she would benefit from somebody who works from home and can take her with them most of the time. She would do better routine wise with the "pack mentality." I see her adjusting well to a home with other dogs with an experienced dog owner that understands that assimilating with a pack will take a bit of time and learning - which is why having an experienced dog trainer would be best. She has assimilated with other dogs in the past. She is such a sweet pretty girl that gets compliments on her behavior and agility. Experienced dog owners that see Ella fitting in with their herd, please reach out :)
