Ellie started out with us as a young pup. She was adopted out, only to be dumped at the shelter at another state. From what we have gathered from the shelter accompanied with our own experience with her, it’s because she needs a home without other dogs. She is 35 lbs and otherwise friendly with all humans and hopes you accept her terms and conditions because she is sooooo worth it! Huey is young and therefore has a lot of energy. He loves attention and to be kept busy. Huey is active, smart, and loves kids and other dogs. He sees every new face as a potential playmate. He would do best in a home with another play mate or an active family. At the facility he has staff and volunteers that have spent extra time with him in training, teaching commands and helping him take out all his pent-up energy. Huey is always ready for a walk, run, hike or a training session. Extremely treat motivated and very focused of what`s being asked of him to do. Huey still needs more training, but he is an amazing dog. He loves to please his person and would love to have a job. His perfect home would be one with one or two people that are very active and super involved in his training or a family that has the time to take him on walks and keep his mind and body active. He won`t do well in a house that wants a couch potato dog or calm dog. He needs stimulation to be calm afterwards. He was born in Jan 2020 and is located at the rescue. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. Margy, short for Margaery, is my Australian Kelpie and has been my family for years. I found her online during the pandemic when I was going through a domestic violence case and trying to escape my abuser. I adopted her because I needed a companion, and since then, it has really just been me and Margy against the world.This is honestly one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I was diagnosed with cancer, and between my medical bills and everything that has happened, my savings have been depleted. I don’t have family here or anyone I can rely on, and I will also be relocating outside the country. I know I won’t be able to financially give Margy the life she deserves anymore.I’ve always wanted to give her a home with a backyard where she can run and play. I would love to find her a family who will truly love her, whether that means kids, a doggy playmate, a backyard, or simply someone who will make her part of their family. I just want my girl to be loved and cared for. ❤️

Oliver (male) and Koda (female) are a bonded pair and half siblings about a month apart in age that we acquired from a friend of a friend. Both adult dogs will be 6 years old this fall and are very close to each other. They do well with babies and most kids, they can be skittish around some kids who run towards them unexpectedly. They play hard together and love being outdoors and are great cuddlers. They can be skittish around new comers but settle quickly. We’re looking for a home that will take both Oliver and Koda, who has time to let them get their energy out, and will love them well.

Kiwi is an amazing pup! We are needing to find her a new home due to incompatibility with an elderly member of our home and by no real fault of her own. Kiwi is a fast learner and will adapt to a new home quickly.We love her very much and are committed to finding her a good home.She sleeps well out-of-crate, on a dog bed in our personal room but may want a crate if not kept close by. We have not tried keeping her crated as there has been no need to. She is house-trained and almost fully trained on chewing only toys/bones of her own. Loves running, great exercise partner.Has not yet been spayed.We will send her to her new home with all toys, bones, harness and food that she has available
