Story
Ellie started out with us as a young pup. She was adopted out, only to be dumped at the shelter at another state. From what we have gathered from the shelter accompanied with our own experience with her, it’s because she needs a home without other dogs. She is 35 lbs and otherwise friendly with all humans and hopes you accept her terms and conditions because she is sooooo worth it! Ellie was born in 2018 and is located at the rescue. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry

Story
Huey is young and therefore has a lot of energy. He loves attention and to be kept busy. Huey is active, smart, and loves kids and other dogs. He sees every new face as a potential playmate. He would do best in a home with another play mate or an active family. At the facility he has staff and volunteers that have spent extra time with him in training, teaching commands and helping him take out all his pent-up energy. Huey is always ready for a walk, run, hike or a training session. Extremely treat motivated and very focused of what`s being asked of him to do. Huey still needs more training, but he is an amazing dog. He loves to please his person and would love to have a job. His perfect home would be one with one or two people that are very active and super involved in his training or a family that has the time to take him on walks and keep his mind and body active. He won`t do well in a house that wants a couch potato dog or calm dog. He needs stimulation to be calm afterwards. He was born in Jan 2020 and is located at the rescue. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Darcey!   We would love to introduce our beautiful 37-pound Border Collie/Husky mix who is ready to find her forever home! This stunning girl has the most gorgeous blue eyes and a sweet, loving personality to match. She is potty trained and kennel trained, making her an easy addition to any home. She walks nicely on a leash, knows her basic commands, and is incredibly smart — she learns new things quickly and loves to please.  One of her favorite things is to chase balls.  She can do it all day long.  Although she enjoys playtime, she  also knows how to relax and chill with her people. She is friendly with some dogs, but prefers to be an only dog. Because of her playful nature, she would do best in a home with children over 8 years old. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and ready to become a wonderful family dog or loyal companion. If you’re interested in giving this stunning girl the loving home she deserves, please reach to steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comJune 25, 2026, 1:40 am

Story
Coming soon! Kit Kat lived as a stray for the first 5 months of her life. Because of that, she is very undersocialized and timid, but she is a sweet pup who just needs patience and a chance to learn that people aren't so bad. She is currently working on socialization so that she can be a wonderful companion. ##2637346##

Story
Meet Genie Genie is a 9-year-old, 60 lb Heeler mix looking for a special home that appreciates smart, quirky, loyal dogs. This girl is full of personality and incredibly intelligent — she knows an impressive number of commands including sit, stay, lay down, shake, roll over, and more. She loves engaging with her person and would make an amazing companion for someone who enjoys a clever, interactive dog. Genie loves long walks, outdoor adventures, rolling in the grass, squeaky toys, sticks, and cozy snuggles. She’s also a big fan of treats and “cheese runs” to Buc-ee’s. Despite her active side, she’s a total cuddle bug who always wants to be close to her person. She would thrive in an adult-only home as the only dog, though she may coexist with a calm cat. She is not a fit for homes with children or small animals. Genie can be sensitive and likes her boundaries respected, so she needs a patient, confident adopter who understands independent dogs and will let her settle in at her own pace. In return, she forms a deep bond and is incredibly loyal. Why you’ll love Genie:• Very smart and highly trained• Potty trained and crate trained• Walks well on leash• Affectionate and loves to snuggle• Great hiking and adventure buddy• Full of funny quirks and personality Genie is hoping to find the person who sees how special she is — and when she bonds with you, she’ll be an incredibly devoted best friend. Ready to meet Genie? Apply to adopt here:https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/70992/generic Genie is located in Texas but can be adopted locally or out of state. We coordinate safe transport and offer video meet-and-greets to ensure it’s the perfect fit. ##2707047##

This adorable girl loves people and makes friends everywhere she goes. She’s incredibly affectionate and enjoys being close to her humans, whether that’s cuddling on the couch, following you around the house, or soaking up attention whenever she can get it. One of Haven’s favorite things in the world is a good bone to chew on. Give her a cozy spot and a bone, and she’ll be one happy pup! Haven has also been around a semi-feral cat in her foster home.
