Story
Vienna is a gentle, sweet and loving blue heeler mix. She loves to snuggle at your feet and look lovingly into your eyes. She is great with other dogs but doesn’t want to play with them; if a dog is being too energetic in her face she does let them know with a nice little rumble. She is appropriately 6 years old. When found, Vienna had been living on the streets in rural Louisiana for over a year. Despite that difficult life, she is good with (older) children, though we’re unsure how she’ll respond to cats. She likes to go on short walks in the park and really enjoys watching other dogs play, even though she has no interest in joining them! If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Vienna is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm

Story
Hello I'm Radar! Everyone always talks about my ears! I am a young adult and have some puppy energy. I love to chew on toys and I may need some help learning what is okay to gnaw on. I love to play with dogs and I love people! I would do best in a home with other dog friends to play with. I have spent most of my puppy life in a shelter so I am working on house training. I enjoy my crate and love to snack on some frozen kongs while you are out. This pair has been together through thick and thin, and they are now searching for a special someone to give them a forever home together. They are both affectionate and friendly, and they love nothing more than to play together. They are very attached to each other and are always seen cuddling. They love going on walks and just enjoying each other`s company. While they are friendly to people, we are unsure if they are good with other dogs, so they would prefer to be the only pups in the household so they can enjoy all the love and attention to themselves! If you`re looking for a pair of four-legged friends to join your family, Bolt and Penny are the perfect pair. They are waiting for you with wags and kisses!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. Meet Obi, a super cute dog who’s been through a lot but still has a big heart and plenty of love to share. He’d love a quiet home where he can be safe from little ones. He also loves the staff and thrives from having a regular routine.Obi has spent time with other dogs and done well.
