Bowser found himself at the shelter because his family had a human baby, and no longer had the time to care for him. He is a sweet, playful boy who is a little confused on why he ended up here. Bowser is a great walker, and just absolutely loves playing fetch. He is a very smart boy and already knows a few commands like sit, down, and stay. He seems to be some sort of herding mix, maybe Aussie/Shepherd?? Bowser will need a dog savvy home who will give him the exercise and structure that he needs to be successful! We don't think he would be appropriate with young kids. Right now he would need to go home with kids 16 years or older, but would most likely do best in an adult only home. Bowser is a very sweet boy, he loves to cuddle up next to you and get belly rubs. He is dog friendly, and would probably do very well with another playful pup in the home! November 5, 2024, 10:53 am

Jimmy was rescued by our group due to the fires in San Bernadino area. He came in as a stray - he is gentle and sweet. Loves a walk. Likes smaller dogs. Loves to cuddle. Would be great with a family. We think he is some type of Aussie, Collie, Husky mix.. Super smart. LOOOOVES the water and would be a great on long hike. He is about 60 pound, fluffy and ready for some adventures

Story

Picasso is a super sweet 3-year-old pure tricolor Australian Shepard who we rescued 2 years ago. He is trained in all basic commands and loves to chase/herd balls and play tug-o-war. He is very protective of my youngest daughter, which has led to the need to re-home him after biting incidents: a gardener who entered the yard unannounced and got too close to my daughter (animal control ruled dog not at fault), myself, when I raised my voice to circumvent my youngest from breaking a mirror, and her older sister when she acted threatening to her. He went to aggression training at South Bay K-9 to learn additional commands and subdue his aggression, but obviously his innate feelings to protect my youngest daughter persists. For example, he vocalizes when we hug and he tries to block my entrance to her room. If it were me alone, I would keep him, but, as much as it is heart wrenching, he would do best with a single dominant adult.

I adopted Rocket needing a companion when I moved out of my parent’s house. Unexpected things happened and my dad had to move in with me with his little dog. Unfortunately, we have to move in smaller space and has not gotten along with the other dog. He’s now looking for another loving family. He’s very energetic, loves to play, loyal and very lovable. I got him a breeder out of state. He’s about a year and half now. Loves cuddles and sleeps on the floor.
