Story
Cruz was a typical foster fail. I got him when I was in a previous relationship and because of some of his special needs I had to take full custody when I left. Since then I have been doing my best take care of him in a small apartment. I have since found a new partner and got married and we are in the process of having kids. Which is the reason we need to find him a loving home. Cruz is a sweetheart of a dog, very calm and stoic and eyes that will melt your heart. He is around 8-9 years old. We think he was living a pretty tough life for about 4-5 of those years because of his PTSD. Cruz is deathly afraid of loud noises, loud cars and trucks and even will try and attack them on occasion. Unfortunately is not dog or cat friendly but good with kids. His perfect day is sunbathing and chasing squirrels in a large backyard and loves a comfy couch or bed to sleep in at night. He is very obedient a listens to basic commands. Cruz is a great dog that deserves a great home.

Story
Bowser found himself at the shelter because his family had a human baby, and no longer had the time to care for him. He is a sweet, playful boy who is a little confused on why he ended up here. Bowser is a great walker, and just absolutely loves playing fetch. He is a very smart boy and already knows a few commands like sit, down, and stay. He seems to be some sort of herding mix, maybe Aussie/Shepherd?? Bowser will need a dog savvy home who will give him the exercise and structure that he needs to be successful! We don't think he would be appropriate with young kids. Right now he would need to go home with kids 16 years or older, but would most likely do best in an adult only home. Bowser is a very sweet boy, he loves to cuddle up next to you and get belly rubs. He is dog friendly, and would probably do very well with another playful pup in the home! November 5, 2024, 10:53 am

Breanna IS AVAILALBE (updated 05-07-2025).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Breanna, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22826&name=BreannaBreanna&#39s foster recently said that her name should be &#39Bubbles&#39, because she is bubbly and happy all of the time. She is one of the most happy-go-lucky puppies they ever fostered. Breanna is always bouncing around and she absolutely loves other dogs. She doesn&#39t mind cuddling up with her people too. Breanna is super playful, loves her training, and is both praise and treat motivated. She can use a doggy door and she is potty trained. Breanna sleeps in a crate all night long. As long as Breanna has her lamb, she will sleep through the night. She loves her lamb.Breanna is in a foster home with cats. She is being &#39cat trained&#39 by the cats. She has been whacked by them and has become more respectful of them, but she still thinks it is fun to see them run and for her to chase them.Breanna loves to be outside. She actually prefers it. She likes to chill on the deck around the pool but she has not shown any indication that she would like to go in it or go swimming. Background on Breanna: she is one of five puppies that came to Orange County to join the Coastal GSR family. Breanna and her siblings were found in an Orange Grove by a Good Samaritan who brought them to his house. She appears to be a mix of Australian Shepherd and possibly German Shepherd. Breanna would do well in a home where people are around most of the time and will include her in their lives. We recommend that Breanna go to a home that has another playful dog(s) since she enjoys the company of other dogs so much. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.May 7, 2025, 4:52 pm

Story
Looking to rehome a (approximately) seven year old female shepherd mix - about 25lbs-30lbs. She was adopted from the pound by an elderly family member six years ago; however, they are no longer capable to care of her. I have been taking care of her, but she does not do the best with my other dog (pictured husky) or my young child. While she has an absolute heart of gold, she has some anxieties around children and other animals - therefore, I think she would do best as an only pet in a childless household to an experienced dog owner. Penelope loves to snuggle and show her person how much she adores them. She does very well with commands (unless she sees another animal). She is house trained - she will go on pee pads if home alone, and she goes outside any other time. I am honestly heartbroken that I cannot keep her within the family because she is a sweet little girl, but I just cannot provide her the home she deserves; I am hopeful that her forever owner is out there though!

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Gucci❤️ 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Adogs got an emergency call from “Happy Dogs Home” for an urgent rescue. The elderly owner who was caring for many dogs alone had to be hospitalized in hospice care, so the dogs were suddenly left without anyone. It had just rained the day before, so everyone was worried about their health. Adogs director went to Yongin in person and rescued Gucci, who had just given birth, along with her puppies. 3⃣ Basic Information * With people: Is okay with being touched but still shy and cautious around people. If she feels nervous or uncomfortable, she might open her mouth defensively, but she doesn't bite. * With dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, even new ones! Will even play with canine friends she likes. No issues with living with other dogs. * With cats: Doesn’t really react when she sees cats on walks. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed since she lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Currently only goes potty outside at our center. * Hygiene: Is scared of being touched at first and may try to run away, but once she calms down, she’s okay with brushing and nail trimming. * Walks: May try to pull away from people in the beginning, but once comfortable, she walks nicely. Doesn’t get excited when she sees other animals like dogs, cats, or birds. 4⃣ Special Notes * If she feels scared or uncomfortable, she might move her mouth toward you defensively, but she’s never bitten anyone. * Sometimes tries to bolt during walks, so using a double leash is a must!
