So far we know he does well with other dogs that are not alpha and that are playful like him And he should go to a low traffic home. Not a lot of people coming in and out. Unfortunately, we do not know his history to put him with kids or cats. Iza was a dog we agreed to take in over a year ago in Armenia that had been wasting away at the shelter overloaded with dogs but the CDC had shut down travel, and we finally got approval to bring her over. She’s approx 6 and great with dogs and despite her past, an absolute sweetheart with people. Iza, like many strays in Armenia, was emaciated and neglected. There are a lot of people in the world that don’t find value in a dog’s life as she was deliberately hit by a car and left for dead. The accident didn’t take away her will to live, although it took away her vision. Thankfully good people exist, and we appreciate our good friend, Susanna, who took her in and got her vetted. She is 100% blind and boarding is not an option for her as she will need a home environment to help her better transition to this new life. She’ll need some guidance as she navigates thru a new environment. She is very dog-friendly and lived with 180 dogs. He loves to cuddle and is still learning how to fetch but loves chasing after a tennis ball. He knows the Sit command. He is great on leash but will keep his distance from other people. He is highly food motivated. Loves to sleep. He is great with dogs but cautious of people. He is crate trained. He is afraid of loud noises and is very slow and cautious about warming up to people. He appreciates his space from others he doesn't trust yet. He’s very sweet
