Story
Hi my name is Niko and I’m 4 years old. My human who loves me very much and is searching for a new home for me. She wants to ensure she finds a caring environment where I will receive plenty of attention and meet all my needs. I'm an incredibly quirky and loving dog who sees the world as one big playground! I'm always ready for an adventure, bursting with energy and curiosity. My human calls me funny because I love to make them laugh with my silly antics. I’m smart and love to learn new tricks, and when the day winds down, there’s nothing better than cuddling up for some cozy moments together! Thank you for taking an interest in me.

Story
Beau is a mini Australian Shepherd. He will be 6 years old in May. Beau was a gift from my Mother-In-Law - we did not select him for ourselves. He was purchased from her reputable breeder in Texas. We have had him since he was 4 months old. Beau is potty trained, crate trained and has completed a 3 week intensive board and train E-Collar program. We have 2 children and 1 on the way. Beau does not do well with children. We have tried everything but finally have to admit that he does not fit in our family. He is skittish around new people and takes time to warm up to men. He is only ok with our 14 year old dog at times- Beau can be food aggressive and they have had their skirmishes. I don't know how he would be with other dogs He has had complete vet care and is up to date on all vaccines - I can provide records. We want to make sure he goes to a safe home where he will be happier. He will come with all records, his favorite toy, crate, bed, food, e-collar and bowls.

Story
Holly is a female pure breed Australian Shepherd, from California. I adapted her as a puppy in February 2021. She has lived in many different environments, including a city apartment, house, and briefly on a 14 acre farm. She is mostly adapted to apartments but would love an open yard or space to run in. She is great with children and incredibly loving, friendly, and gentle. She does not need “special attention” but she does need a lot of love and affection. I have struggled to give her the best attention and care since moving to D.C. for work and separating from my partner.

Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm
