Duke is a friendly, fun-loving boy who’s always ready for his next adventure. He can get excited when you first meet him but he settles quickly. Once outside, Duke is all about exploring, sniffing, strolling, and soaking in the world around him. He loves being outside. He enjoys meeting both people and dogs and gets excited to say hi. Duke knows some basics like sit and shake, and loves treats (and takes them gently!). Sweet, social, and full of joyful energy, Duke would be a great match for someone who enjoys walks, playtime, and wants an affectionate companion by their side. Duke is looking for stability and a home to love him forever. Come meet this good boy! You won’t regret it!

Meet Schmoop! This 9 week old spunky little fluff is a sweet, energetic guy who will make the best addition to any family! He is currently being fostered with his sister, “Sugar Booger”, and they spend their days wrestling and running around in the backyard and once their energy runs out, they love to cuddle up together in the dog bed. Schmoop would certainly love having a canine playmate in his forever home or an active family! He is catching on quickly to potty training and is very good about going on pee pads AND he sleeps through the night like a champ! We have no idea what their parents were as these guys were dumped in a yard in Mississippi so we cannot guarantee breed mix or adult size. Based off their looks, we are saying they are Aussie mixes and based off their current size and paws I would say they would be in the 50 to 60 pound range full grown! But don’t just take my word for it, apply to come see him today and meet your new best friend!! Adoption Day: February 14th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. *How it Works* Pups are in foster care for at least 3 weeks. Once on the website, they are available for adopters to apply for a Meet & Greet. Applicants will then talk and meet with the foster after being connected via our Adoption Coordinator, this only happens if you apply! If you are chosen by the foster to adopt the puppy and you want to move forward in adopting, there is a deadline to submit your adoption application in order to adopt the puppy on February 14th. If you are a chosen adopter, you would go to whats called the "private adoption" on said date. Public adoptions are for selected animals that did not get adopted yet and it is a first come first serve basis and adopting on the spot that day. Some pups may be part of the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun! ##2639042##

Meet "Snookums"! Like you would expect with her name, Snookums is the sweetest and snuggliest little puppy.  Snookums is very friendly and loves to play with the resident dogs.  Her favorite type of toys are the crinkle plush toys. Snookums loves to be carried and will be more than happy always accompany you around the house. She is very good about going potty outside, but she also knows how to use pee pads.  Snookums loves to go on short walks with the resident dogs. Meet Sugar Booger! This 9 week old sweet girl with the dreamiest puppy dog eyes and gorgeous coat will make the best addition to any family! She is currently being fostered with her brother, “Schmoop”, and they spend their days wrestling and running around in the backyard and once their energy runs out, they love to cuddle up together in the dog bed.
