Story
Please contact Kady Hammer (KadyH@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.energetic young floof seeking active home! RED NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Red          Best Guess for Breed:  Australian shepherd and border collie mix  Best Guess for Age:   10 months as of April 2024       SEX: Male   Approximate Weight:  48 lbs as of 3/11/24; he is still growing!   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here   Red is Looking For:   His forever family!  Red's beautiful, fluffy coat covers a high-octane, high-energy body! Going by appearances alone, we think this dog is a herding breed mix, and those dogs can run all day. Red might need a lot of  just that - activity. Mere daily walks and/or time in the yard won't be enough. Red is looking for daily opportunities to run and play with other dogs and lots of additional mental stimulation / enrichment. He would likely benefit from being one of those sporty dogs who does advanced obedience training, agility, or nose work! Dogs who don't get all the physical activity and mental enrichment they need will find a way to release their energy in undesirable ways (think chewing on that new couch or pair of shoes you just bought). If Red is indeed the breeds he appears to be, he will need an adopter who loves being active as much as he does and wants a buddy for fun adventures.       What he wants as much as he wants to be active is to know he is safe and loved. What do you say? Can you see yourself stroking his fluffy coat while you chill with him after a long fun day together?   What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at   bit.ly/adoptaluckydog  .   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. Story
We are trying to help this sweet girl called Bonnie Belle to find a home since her elderly parents are in failing health and cannot care for their five dogs.  Bonnie Belle is a mix of some interesting breeds.  We think she has some Aussie and maybe Boxer in her.  The Australian Shepherd trait is what makes her a protector of the yard and home when strangers approach.  She is the home security dog officer!   This girl is losing her home because her elderly parents have fallen into bad health.  Bonnie Belle is 4 years old and weighs a little over 40 pounds.  She adores people and is good with the other dogs that she spends time with in the fenced yard.  She is housebroken, affectionate and a devoted girl to her family.  If you would like to give Bonnie her next forever home, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue who is helping her at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 35 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Hello, you lucky people! I know, when you hear the name Bianca you think of Beautiful and of course I am all of that and more.  But even though I am small in stature, but big in personality, I am an adorable force of nature. How big will I be when I grow up? Who knows, but my foster mom says I have enough cuteness and cuddles for any size.I am crate-trained, which is not the same as housebroken, but it means I don’t mind being in my crate and usually keep it clean and dry. I might holler and howl out of protest when you first put me in my crate, but my foster mommy says don’t be fooled. I’ll settle down with a blanket and toy after a little while. When I first go to a new home I will just have to get used to being without my brothers and sisters and get used to my new family. I sleep in my crate at night just fine but with company. I love mealtime and I also love to chase toys. If you get me settled on a blanket next to you, I love a good snuggle time filled with love.I’m ready. Come and get me! Love, Bianca.   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com  April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm
