Story
Meet our boy Best Friend Pete!   This handsome boy has a ready smile that says that he wants to be your friend.   Pete is an Aussie mix boy that is one year old and 55 pounds.   He came from a sad home situation where There are too many dogs, cats, farm animals and not enough food to go around to feed them all.  The first year of his life he was tied to a broken down pickup truck bumper and had to crawl under the truck for shelter in the hard clay dirt where with no grass grew. He was so shy and timid when we first brought him to the foster home and he just didn’t know about all these sights and sounds of the outside world that he was experiencing.   He has come to love the time and loving attention and inside comforts of a home. He is a blessed dog that was able to escape a very poor and sad living situation. He has learned about being crate trained, housebreaking, and would be best with a fenced yard.  He needs to be given the time and attention that he deserves and a strong dog leader.   He loves going for car rides.  He is an Aussie mix we think and he is very smart and sensitive to direction from people. We think this handsome boy would be a great running partner, hiking companion and beach comber.  A fenced yard is a must.  If you are interested please step up with an email to us:  Ccrnewengland@gmail.com He is in New England now and ready to move to a new home with a fenced yard.  Pete is a dog that will always appreciate each kind word and love that he gets from a family in the years to come. He will need a strong leader and someone who will show him they are in charge.  He loves running    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 27, 2023, 8:16 pm

Story
This handsome Australian Shepherd mix young guy is called Red Ranger Tom  and he is needing a  home that will show him the best in manners and how to be the smart dog God made him to be. Ranger Tom needs a home environment that is calm and other dogs in the home must not be too high energy and in his face.  It stresses him.  He is well behaved and eager to learn.  He plays well with other dogs that dont get too rough.  He is housebroken and good on a leash.  He is crate trained and happier than he was just 6 months ago when he was abandoned by his owner. Critter Cavalry Rescue wants to help him get a great forever home that understands his breed needs.  Can you help rescue him and make his life a dream come true with love and patience!???? Ranger is 11 months old and about 48 pounds.  He is a good boy and does well with most all the dogs he meets that are mannerly and not getting in his face to demand his attention.  It scares him a little.  If you are looking for a great sidekick dog that will hike, run/jog, go for car rides and just experience life together then please consider Ranger Tom.  Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  He is ready .    If you are interested in helping please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ASAP!   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 27, 2023, 8:16 pm

Story
Puppy Hugh Grant is mostly ears and mostly adorable!  This teenage puppy was born around January 1st and is still waiting for the right family to love and appreciate all he has to offer a family.  We  think he is an Aussie mix, weighs 40 pounds and destined to be 50 pound adult when fully grown.  He came from a Kentucky shelter that was way too full and he and his brother were in danger.  This little guy is well on his way to housebreaking and crate training.  He is very sweet and friendly and just needs some time to feel secure and safe in a good place that you call “HOME”.   He is charming and playful and good with dogs, cats and meeting new people with just a touch of shyness.  We have only had him out of the shelter since 5/20 and we are learning more about him every day.  If you are interested in making this handsome puppy a part of your life and family history then please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 27, 2023, 8:16 pm

Story
Our beautiful girl is called Miley and she was adopted 3 years ago as a puppy and lived quite happily with her family until things changed drastically and extra family moved in.   This Aussie mix girl who is 65 pounds, is not happy with all the busy noise and toddler and baby that have now invaded her quiet life.  She is anxious with them in the house and her original mom (grandma to the young children) says that it is best for Miley to find another quiet home to live with in.  Her current mom says: “We love Miley but she is not happy with all the new noises and activity that has invaded her life.  She is not happy and is anxious and nervous and irritated. “   Miley is housebroken, can be left home alone with no crating, she is loving and wants to be your shadow and be by your side when you are home.  This lovely girl needs to find another place in life that will welcome her devotion and love and calm demeanor.   She is fine with the older teenagers who come over to visit her the teens at the house and she is wonderful when groomed or has her toenails trimmed.  This dog only wants to love, to please you and to be with YOU!   Please consider Miley.  She is young but matured enough to be that perfect temperament that is now mellow and easy to have in your life.  She doesn’t need to be trained.  She just needs peace again in her life.   Can you provide that!?   Please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com If you can provide that.  She is fully vetted and spayed and microchipped.

Story
Ethan Banks is one of the most unusual dogs we have had the chance to present to people looking for a great rescue dog.  This boy wants to learn commands, play with other dogs or you and he just wants an active home that he can 'work' off the intelligence and energy that his breed's DNA portrays. Ethan could be a therapy dog very easily.  He would be a great to take to visit people in nursing homes, hospitals or schools.  He is just that good and calm out in the general public.   He is a two year old male Aussie/Heeler mix and those ears almost made it up to the sky in a perfect attention salute.  He weighs a nice medium weigh of 40 pounds and it’s apparent that this boy found as a stray was once a member of someone's family.  He is too polished and knows some commands already to have been raising himself for the past two years.  Ethan Banks is unique with his one blue eye surrounded by a red patch and sporting his docked tail with a distinctive red patch too.  Banks loves to retrieve, play and he is a water boy...he loves water.  Most importantly, he is good with other dogs and absolutely loves people.  His next home or foster home would need a place that allows him to run and burn off some of his energy that he has due to his breed.  He is also a good boy to just lay around after a full day of activity and he loves to sleep at the foot of your bed.  If you are familiar with this breed and ready to invite an intelligent, uniquely handsome, good-natured dog into your life, then Ethan Banks would be your boy.  Please contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to ask for a foster or even an adoption form.   He is ready to go!!!! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 27, 2023, 8:16 pm

Story
This beautiful young adult girl is called Summer Breeze and she is so very sweet and sports the most amazing soft coat of brindle colored fur you will touch. This girl is so calm and timid, but very loving and just the nicest girl dog on the planet. We think she has some Australian Shepherd in her and some other source of brindle coloring from maybe a Mountain Cur relative.   Her sweet face and searching gazes, tells you that she is seeking love, acceptance and a stable home. This girl could easily be a PTSD dog for someone.  She came from a young family who had too many dogs and now the young woman in the house is pregnant with a third child. Summer had to go.  This girl has some wonderful dog traits that will make her living with you easy.  She loves walks, watermelon, playtime with other dogs, and could certainly live in an apartment setting with someone that keeps Her on a good leash walk and dog park adventures and loves to ride in the car.  She is housebroken, weighs 40 pounds and should be 45 when she is well fed and on good food.  She is so gentle and good-natured and excellent with children, cats, dogs and with a nice quiet and calm side to her.   In another few months she will be a totally awesome looking girl with better food and better supportive human love, something not given in her past.  If you want to really turn the world around for Summer Breeze, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 27, 2023, 8:16 pm
