Story
Do you need a new best friend? Meet Mountain Bluebird. This sweet girl wants nothing more than to cuddle next to - or on top of - her people!  She loves being around people of all ages - she's been around little ones, teens, and adults and has been great with them all.  When she's not snuggling in your lap, she loves to run, play, and explore. She has just the right amout of energy and we think a backyard or space to run around would be just perfect for her.  She loves her crate, and will even put herself in there for nap time when she's ready to crash. She sleeps through the night without a peep and is just happy to see you when you come wake her up in the mormning. She is making great strides with potty training and once she settles in her forever home and has a routine, we think she'll be good to go. She's great on the leash and greets other dogs and their owners with curiosity everywhere we go. She would do best in a house without cats, because she hasn't quite figured out they aren't interested in playing with her! Adoption Day: July 5th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun!  ##2345653##

Story
Cowboy is a sweet affectionate young boy. He is very smart too. Maybe it's the Aussie in him...he loves to play and run. He is good with dogs but we do not recommend him to a family with cats. He does not chase them but does seem to have little bit too much interest in them in the home. Cowboy is good with children too; we do not recommend him for a family with smaller children. He does not like to be confined at our Vet's Office in their kennels which is where he is now due to a lack of enough foster homes. Cowboy just wants to be with his human. He will stay close to you inside and outside the home. Please consider this sweet boy as a new member of your family. He knows how to sit and shake on command - he seeks to please his human and just wants to be with his owner. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please email: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com You can also visit our website Rpacirescue.org to fill out an adoption application

Story
Sabine is a gorgeous girl, but what makes her memorable are her one of a kind underbite and her softness. Incredibly photogenic (your Christmas pictures will never be the same!) she simply melts under your touch. She and her two brothers found themselves out of time at a very rural Virginia shelter but were saved by HART in the nick of time. This girl is very affectionate and knows how to be a perfect little lady. Almost housebroken, not loud. Likes kids. Only 6 months old, she is very comfortable with other dogs, but she is not as spunky or bouncy as her brothers. Being that chill, she prefers to cuddle next to her human or with a chew toy in her favorite pet cuddler. If you are busy doing something important, she’ll just be nearby until you have time for her again. No barking, no complaining, just perfect and pure puppy love. One look at her and she will grab onto your heart, making it very difficult for you to look at any other dog.
