Story
*Woof* I`m in a foster home. Email lauren.pina1998@gmail.com to meet me. - very friendly, loves people, cuddly (especially, giving hugs or laying by your feet) - smart and already knows tricks like `sit,` `roll over` and `paw` - potty trained - doesn`t need to be crated in the home - has gotten along with many pupsCheck it out - Little Boy was featured as WTOP`s pet of the week! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVtxNhyjEhR/?igsh=Mms4N3pjZDczdnNhDon’t let the name fool you — Little Boy is not so little! At about 75 pounds, he’s a big, lovable bundle of pure sweetness, and once you meet him, you’ll understand why everyone falls head over heels for this Big Boy. At 5 years old, Little Boy is the perfect mix of mellow companion and adventure buddy. He’s incredibly friendly and affectionate, always ready to lean in for hugs or stretch out at your feet while you go about your day. He’s happiest just being near his people, often rolling right onto his back to soak up belly rubs or even standing up for a full-on hug. He’s house trained, well-mannered, and a smart cookie too — he already knows “sit” and “roll over,” and is eager to keep learning. Most days, he’s content to lounge beside you, but he also loves getting out for a nice long walk or hopping in the car for a ride (especially if it means sticking his head out the window and enjoying the breeze). Little Boy can be left home alone without a crate. If you’re looking for a cuddly, loyal, and easygoing companion with a big heart to match his size, Little Boy might just be your dream match.

Story
10 months old, 23 lbs Personality: energetic, playful, affectionate, snuggly, curious, shy, smart. Meet Noah, a playful pup with endless curiosity, an adventurous spirit, and a loving personality. This affectionate boy is super sweet, and he has really come out of his shell, growing more confident every day! Noah gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home, always ready for the next game or backyard adventure. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, he warms up quickly and greets visitors with enthusiasm. His foster describes him as "not having a mean bone in his body," and his gentle nature shines through in every interaction. After playtime, Noah is a true snuggler who enjoys staying close to his people. He loves curling up beside you and even likes maintaining physical contact while he sleeps. He is crate-trained and doing very well with house training. He's highly food motivated, making him eager to learn, and he already has great recall when called. He’ll thrive with an adopter who can provide encouragement and plenty of opportunities for play and exploration. Apply today to meet Noah! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. Story
Marley Girl is a happy, outgoing  8 year old Aussie Doodle with a heart full of love and lots of years and life left to share. This young senior girl is looking for a new home through no fault of her own because her natural herding instincts have taken over and she is chasing the chickens at her former home.  Apparently eggs are more important than sweet Marley.   This girl at 8 years is not too big and just 45 pounds and has lived with another dog during her life and also cats.  Chickens are different for dogs and so she is looking for a new place to live.  Marley is is fully house trained and potty trained, She loves riding in a car and enjoys watching the scenery go by as she rides shotgun. While Marley has a few years behind her she has so many more ahead of her. Her infectious smile only guarantees that you will be her beloved family that she will adore as an easy companion dog.  This girl is all about being a loyal, family-friendly companion who is past the puppy stage but still ready for more years of adventures, cuddles and making memories, Marley may be the perfect match for you. if you are a senior or a younger person that just wants a mellow dog to love.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 10, 2026, 9:52 pm

Story
This little darling is called Mini Pearl and she is as spunky and funny as the real Minnie Pearl was back in the days of the 70's and 80's where she was the Queen of Country Comedy.  Little Mini Pearl is a Miniature Australian Shepherd who lost her owner when she passed away. Several other small breed dogs were left behind and have all found homes.  Mini Pearl is just 2-3 years old and 13 pounds and spicy and with a darling kick to her personality. She has the big personality in the tiny little body. She is housebroken, crate trained and a little intimidated by large dogs. A very normal reaction from a tiny little girl and normal with small breed dogs that are her size.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 10, 2026, 9:52 pm
