Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 8, 2024, 10:24 pm

Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 8, 2024, 10:24 pm

Story
Please meet Gordy our extremely handsome and freckled Australian Shepherd pup that we came to help after being passed around from the backyard breeder to a young man who had no time for him and then to us. These poor babies don't deserve the thickness of humans. But they endure and we have caught this boy before he got any older and currently at about 6 months of age and 40 lb He will be neutered and caught up to date on shots and wormed.   He is being loved and taught things and emotionally prepared for a great family. This handsome boy is very easy going, great around cats, other dogs and honestly an all-around genuinely perfect puppy to adopt. He has no issues that are unusual from puppyhood and he has endured the fickleness of humans.  This guy has had people that didn't even crate him when they left for 8 hours to go to work. Guess what he did?. He got into mischief and he chewed and he tore some things up and then they decided they just couldn't have a puppy. He didn't deserve them for sure.  He has endured so very much, but he still  smiles and sits when told and is happy and just wants to love you. If you would like this handsome boy to be yours, then please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 8, 2024, 10:24 pm

Story
Critter Cavalry Rescue recently learned of a desperate situation taking place in the small  backyard of a family who had no money and who were sadly struggling themselves to feed the 8 people living in the house.  Fleas abounded in the yard and water stood stagnant in bowls that had green algae floating. There were two momma dogs with nursing puppies born the middle of July, living in the small grassless yard and there were 4 adult dogs as well.  None of them were altered and so…. puppies being born and living in terrible unsanitary conditions.  Critter Cavalry set out to change the course of these helpless lives who deserved more.  These are puppies we will have ready by the middle of October to offer to great families with fenced yards.  Their mother is featured here and her profile is on www.adoptapet.com as Momma Oreo.  She is an Aussie and we know that Dad was a Husky as per the males living in the yard with her.   Our puppies are all boys.  The black and white is called Lake, the brown and tan is Marsh and the grey and white pup is River.  Who in the world could choose?  We sure couldn’t!!! Mom is about 48 pounds and Dad was 55 lbs.  We estimate the same for the pups as they grow into beautiful adults.  Extensive vetting has been done and all the best in food, dewormings, shots, spays to be done soon at 3 months and microchipping as well.  Tests for parasites have been done and fecals for all the other intestinal invaders that we come across in our puppies.  The best of the best foster homes has been provided for them and Momma has blossomed as well into a more relaxed and social girl than when we took her from the original home.  If you are interested  please let us know via email at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 8, 2024, 10:24 pm

Story
Sweet Skye Man has come to us as one of three Aussie mix older pups that are still impressionably young at just 8 months and 19 pounds. This handsome, yet shy boy, is looking for a family that will fill his soul with love and affirmation and confidence building lessons every day. He and his siblings were raised in an outdoor kennel with little to no love and attention. They were merely fed, but yet eventually were released to our Critter Cavalry Rescue foster mom.  Skye Man  is a sponge for life lessons and he is so receptive to human touch and love.  He is the smaller pup from his litter of three that we have in our care now. He is comfortable in a crate, but needs leash training.  There's so many exciting experiences and a wonderful family waiting for him out there. All he needs to have is the moment he is discovered and someone contacts Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to ask if they can adopt him. We know that day is coming soon. He is fully vetted and neutered and ready to hop on the van to the home in the Northeast region or to just merely meet a new family in Tennessee where he resides currently. If you were interested please email us at the address we just gave.  Be sure to let us know where you live, city and state. We will be quickly responsive.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 8, 2024, 10:24 pm
