I bought Milo from a breeder about 3.5 years ago. He was born on July 3rd. I have had him since he was 10 weeks old. Milo is a very loving dog who loves absolutely anyone who gives him attention and treats. He is a very high Strong breed so he requires a lot of exercise. The only reason i unfortunately have to rehome him is because i am relocating and moving into an apartment which is not fare for a dog like Milo he needs space and room to run. I would want the adopter to have a big yard that’s fenced in because this breed really needs that to get the exercise they need and to burn off all the energy they have. Milo is not leash trained he pulls the entire time. He is potty trained and is on a schedule. He goes in the morning and at night. Sometimes when Milo gets very excited he pees but that’s it he never has accidents in the house. He is a very hyper dog, once his energy is ran out he is actually very calm just needs to run

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Susie is a beautiful Aussie mix. She is a 2 years old and is 70lbs. Susie is fearful when meeting new people and takes time to be comfortable. It may take multiple meet and greets for Susie. She would do best in a quiet house with a consistent routine. She does jump up on people when she is happy to see them. She loves to play with toys and other dogs her size with proper introduction. She does love to chew Nyla bones and antlers. She will bark when someone comes to the door and she sees things in the yard. She is housebroken and knows some basic commands. Susie is not good with cats.She is an active dog but calms down in the house. Susie would love a fenced in yard to play in. She will bark at things she sees when outside in the yard. She would not be good in an apartment. If you are interested in Susie fill out an application. HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Story

This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Rocky is a 1.5-year-old neutered red tri Australian Shepherd who is up to date on vaccinations, crate trained, and highly motivated by food and toys. He is energetic, intelligent, and loves activities like Frisbee. Rocky does well with cats and currently lives successfully with another male dog. As a true herding breed, Rocky needs daily physical exercise, mental stimulation, clear structure, and consistent leadership. He has basic obedience training (sit, down, place, come, leash manners) and responds well to marker cues, but will benefit from continued practice and follow-through, especially around distractions. Rocky requires an adult-only home with experienced owners who understand canine body language and thoughtful introductions. He can be reactive when people come to the door and may use herding behaviors to create space if he feels uncomfortable. When properly introduced and allowed to warm up at his own pace, he becomes affectionate, playful, and enjoys cuddling.

Born as the result of double merle breeding, Polaris is deaf and has very limited vision. When he couldn’t be sold, he was dumped to fend for himself, along with his blind and deaf sister. But he’s since shown that he’s more than anyone expected - resilient, loving, and full of life. Despite his challenges, Polaris is a happy, affectionate pup who’s never met a stranger. He finds comfort being close to his person, especially outside, and will thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can safely explore by your side.
