We bought Louis in August! He is a miniature Australian Shepherd. He has been well socialized! We have three young toddlers and another dog. He goes on frequent trips to the park. He does great with kids and animals! He’s kennel trained and house broken. Our only reason for rehoming him is the sole fact that 2 dogs and 3 toddlers is too hard for our family. We love him and only want him to go to a wonderful home.

I am super smart and have already learned to potty outside, sit, “kennel up” and much more. My foster mom has 2 kids, another dog and a cat. I’m so good with all of them although I don’t understand why the cat doesn’t want hugs. I’m trying hard to win her over though. Treats and naps are my favorite thing in the whole world. I started off life with my foster mom very skinny and I’m doing my best to fatten up a bit. I’m so excited to find my forever home. I’ll be your best friend! Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)
