Lilly is such a sweet dog. She is 3 years old. She has a loving and cuddly personality. She loves snuggles anytime of the day.. sure to brighten anyone’s day! She is great with kids and other animals! Unfortunately, we are just too busy for her. She will do well in a home that can give her attention. Lovely SIMONE is a beautiful border collie/aussie-type mixed breed girl looking for a home. Named for Team USA's gymnastics superstar, our Simone may not be a contender for the 2028 games in Los Angeles, but she's a strong contender for fun and games in your backyard. Simone is around 2 years old and fully grown at just 32 pounds. Simone has a border collie face, and an Aussie bob tail but a shorter coat than either of those breeds. We have no guesses as to what other breeds may be in the mix. Simone has a medium length coat and sleek athletic body. She's playful and loves toys, dog friendly, good with people but a bit on the timid side. Simone is whip smart, takes direction well and has nice leash manners. She appears to be housebroken. If you'd like to meet lovely Simone please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Simone at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee. Panda is a super cute 1 1/2-year-old Aussie/Heeler mix weighing about 35lbs. Panda was another one at the shelter waiting to be euthanized that we got lucky enough to get out of there. She is very friendly and loves to give kisses. She loves being active outside but also loves to cuddle up beside you on the couch. She is super smart and will do basic commands for treats. She also enjoys toys and bones. She is not great in the crate, but we are working on that. She does really well on a leash and is house broken. She is good with other dogs and appears to be cat friendly as long as not provoked 🤣 She’s currently being fostered in a home with small children and does well with them, but doesn’t really know her own size so playfulness tends to knock them down a bit. She might do better with a bit older kids (not toddlers). She would do great with an active family and a fenced yard! Poky is ready for his very own forever home he's only a few months old and already doing really well with potty training. He's allowed to free roam with our Dogs when we aren't home, he uses pee pads while we are at work and uses the doggie door when we are home. We would love a fur sibling to tire him out. He's very food motivated and could easily be trained by someone who knows what they're doing (not us) and he would prefer to sleep with you as he is not a fan of the crate. I'm especially attached to this little guy since we are the ones who found him he's gonna be a big boy and he will make any family really happy.
