Story
Meet Benito ❤️ Male DOB: April 10, 2022 Weight: 45 pounds Breed: Australian Shepherd / Dalmatian Mix Neutered (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Benito has been waiting… and waiting… and still, his heart stays just as full of love. For the past two years, he’s been with the rescue, watching other dogs find their homes while he patiently hopes his turn will come. He doesn’t understand why he’s still here—but he never stops being the happy, loving dog he’s always been. Personality Benito is a joyful, affectionate dog who truly loves people. He has a happy, easygoing spirit and brings warmth wherever he goes. He enjoys being around others, soaking up attention, and simply being part of a family. He’s the kind of dog who greets you with happiness, stays close, and makes you feel like you matter. His love is genuine, steady, and always there. Breed Info As an Australian Shepherd / Dalmatian mix, Benito carries traits of: Intelligence and awareness A loyal, people-focused nature A balanced mix of energy and companionship This mix creates a dog who is engaged, loving, and adaptable, happy to be active but also content just being with his people. Ideal Home Benito would do best in a home where he is finally given the love and stability he has been waiting for. He will thrive with a family who includes him in daily life and gives him the attention he deserves. Owner Responsibilities Benito will need regular exercise, routine, and continued care. Like all dogs, he requires structure, guidance, and a lifelong commitment. Things to Consider He has been waiting longer than most. Please consider opening your home to a dog who truly deserves a chance. Sometimes the ones who wait the longest are the ones who love the hardest. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, Benito will finally get the life he’s been waiting for. Veterinary Care Benito is fully vetted, but we always recommend bringing him to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue his care. Important Note Benito is an indoor family dog. Story
Tucker is a 10 year old toy Australian shepherd who would love to find a low traffic home with someone who is confident and familiar with anxious dogs and herding breeds. He does have a history of biting and nipping, and is very fearful of large dogs, so he needs to go to a home with no young children and no large dogs. He does seem to enjoy the company of small female dogs, but may still need a lot of time and careful introductions to get comfortable. Tucker is devoted, loving, great on a leash, very intelligent, and will be an excellent companion to someone with the right lifestyle and experience. Because of his sensitivity and bite history, he needs a very specific home and it may take several meetings before potential adopters can be deemed a good fit.

Story
I got Luna as a puppy. At the time I lived in a big house with a backyard and had another person who was caring for her with me. Luna will be 6 at the end of the year, but she still has tons of energy. The only reason I am looking to rehome her is that my life circumstances have changed so drastically and we are now living in a tiny apartment and it's just myself, so I feel she isn't getting the attention and best care she needs. She is a very sweet girl. She loves to cuddle and she loves any toy that she can play tug of war with. She can be very vocal at doorbells, knocks or anyone just being too loud outside. She has lived most of her life with both cats and a small Corgi so she is used to other animals. Luna has never shown signs of aggression, but she does get VERY excited to play and will whine and pull when on leash. She will need someone who can spend some time working on leash with her, but she's been able to be boarded and play with other dogs with no issues.

Story
**Lucas is currently being fostered in Houston TX but is available for out of state adoption via rescue transport at no added fee to adopters. We offer video chat for you to meet your pup prior to committing to adoption, and have a guaranteed return process for all our dogs** Lucas is your all around adventure pup who loves to run, play, swim, repeat! This dog has a ton of energy and just loves to be right beside his human best friend! He was found as a stray on the streets of Houston TX, where he was rescued by a good Samaritan who made sure he was safe, and vetted. Unfortunately, they didn't have a lot of space and Lucas started to get anxious being in such confined spaces with no way to run. Being the breeds he is, this caused him to mentally deteriorate a little and thus he was brought to us. Lucas has since settled in beautifully now that he has land to run in, friends to play with, toys aplenty and all the water time he could ask for. While he can be a little needy at times, we don't blame him given the confined spaces he endured before being brought here. Anyone who loves to run and was cooped up for as long as he was would be! However, he has really started to thrive with the right environment. Lucas is a very intelligent dog who is eager to please and quick to learn. He picks things up quickly, and is bold and confident in his learning style so it doesn't take much at all. Treats, toys, a good belly rub, all are equal enough to him to work for and he definitely will work for it! He is crate trained, and has done well to introduction to all things home life. He really loves toys, and is constantly looking to play, fetch, run, and seek all the fun things! He also really loves the water, and any chance he gets he is in the pool, which, given how hot the summer has been we don't blame him! He would do great with a family looking for someone to inject energy and life into the home. He is 100% a persons dog, and would do best with someone who has the time and space for him to grow and play. Even though he is a husky, he is a relatively quiet dog who isn't a loud barker, though he will whine if he wants a toy and isn't seeming to get our attention for it. But otherwise, no howling here! Lucas will come fully vetted and health certified. For more information, contact MokasMission@Gmail.com
