Story
Hi there! My name is Ray, short for 'Radar.'  That is because, you got it, my magnificent, perky ears!  I don't miss a thing!  Especially when I hear the sound of a hand reaching into a bag of my doggie treats.  I love running and playing with my foster sister so I would make a great companion pet. I also love my daily walks. I am working on gaining confidence when I'm out on walks and improving daily.  I do check the boxes for housetrained, dog friendly, kid friendly, all around people friendly and SWEETNESS.  Did I mention I sleep through the night! I warm up quickly when I first meet people and I love cuddles.  I have a heart full of love and wating for that person/family to welcome me into their home. Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org December 6, 2025, 10:37 pm

Story
Am I adorable or what? I am a happy, playful pup. I enjoy playing in the backyard and I love to play with the others dogs, but I enjoy my humans even more. I am gentle and loving and do well with kids. Don't I have such an adorable face? I am a little pup and should be a medium sized dog when full-grown. I am now housetrained and doing well on leash training. If you want a smart, happy, loving pup, I am your dog!Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org November 24, 2025, 11:04 pm

Story
Maya (known as Sydney in her foster home of 4 months) is a beautiful, smart, gentle and sweet girl. She is very loving, playful, eager to please, and house-trained. She has a very short tail and when she sees someone she loves, her whole body wiggles! She is very intelligent and quickly learned the names of her various toys and often figures out what you want her to do before you even ask. She loves to be outside in the yard with her person and her canine buddy; walks in the neighborhood she likes, but walks in the woods she loves. She wants to be your best friend and do everything you ask, but sometimes the world is a little too scary for her. She can be slow to warm up to new people and places, and likes to have a "safe space" all her own. She is cautiously happy to meet most women and some men, but she is timid with older men. She therefore is unlikely to do well in a home that includes an older man, but would likely do well in a home with a younger man. Although she has had very limited exposure, she seems fine with children. She has been fine (but shy) with the cat in her foster home. She is initially timid around most dogs, but would probably do well sharing a home with a confident, playful dog, and as you can see from the videos, once she's comfortable with another dog, she loves to run and play! Maya will need a meet and greet before proceeding with an adoption. She was rescued by HART after being surrendered to a shelter; we don't know where she lived before that. She has made steady progress coming out of her shell, but will need a person(s) who has some experience with anxious dogs and will be very patient and loving with her. Questions About this Animal? Story
Jetson is a lovable and polite 2 year old Aussie Shepard Mix. He loves his soft toys (his babies) and cuddling up with a friend. He has lots of energy and loves showing off his jet speed when told he is the fastest puppy in the word!      Jetson is very calm when inside and doesn't bark at strangers or other animals. He loves being brushed and showing off his newly learned tricks and is quickly learning all basic commands. He doesn't pull on his leash and even waits on the top of the stairs for whoever is walking him. He is just looking for his forever best friends to share pets and treats with.   Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
This adorable little girl and her siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Dainty is a gentle little girl, but dose love to run and play with other dogs. She has done amazing with her house and crate training. She is so deserving of a wonderful home to call her own. She is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application
