Meet Boone! He is a handsome, one year old, Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix. He has lots of energy and has a super sweet demeanor. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is good with kids. Boone has a playful side but will also soak up all the snuggles and cuddles he can get! He can be a bit nervous of new people but comes around quickly. Boone is kennel trained and potty trained but still needs some work on basic training. If you would like to set up a meet a greet with this sweet guy, send us a message or fill out and adoption application on our website www.whidbeycritters.com! *Boone is part of our House to Home program and is not under the ownership of Critters Pet Rescue. Story
Donnie was found after being dumped at an elementary school with his sister. He is a silly, playful, goofy boy who has been given the nickname of Superman because of his manner of jumping off the back deck. He has been adopted and raised by our mama dog in the rescue. He loves to spend time with his adopted siblings and has especially taken out Chow with a spinal cord injury u Der his wi g. He plays with her challenges her. He doesn't toddler her, but does protect her. He would be great with other animals, but also just fine on his own.

Story
Animal Profile: Teddy is a 2-year-old 19 lbs cutie patootie! He is probably an Aussie Shepherd X with a big smile and fluffy tail. He has a confidence about him and easily fit in with the other dogs in his dog test. He walks well on leash, is not reactive and has some basic obedience skills. Teddy did great during his vet exam, and was excellent in the car. Teddy is going to be a great addition to one lucky family here in the PNW! Foster Update: Teddy is a sweet bundle looking for an active family, a dog sibling would be a plus! Teddy arrived smiling, wagging his tail and ready for cuddles. He is a soft (both in temperament and feel) dog who is gentle and loving, eager to play and please and sensitive. He plays well with dogs of all sizes , loves smaller dogs and enjoys his cuddle time with his humans. He meets other dogs cautiously and plays gently with dogs and toys. He is, true to breed, very smart and responsive to verbal cues. He is house trained and walks well on a leash with a training collar. Also true to breed, he does have a small whine when he wants your attention or when first crated, but will settle down -- he is working on crate training and getting better and better. He is slow to warm to people so we do not recommend for young kids, but would probably be fine with teenagers. Teddy would be a great candidate for long hikes and walk, agility or any other mentally stimulating activity. Breed experience is a huge plus!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from Hawaii Animal Control arriving to Seattle area foster care on Thursday 11/20/24.  He will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. December 6, 2024, 12:47 am
