Story
This is Frodo. He is an almost 4 year old Australian Shepherd mix. He has quite a bit of energy but loves going to dog parks to run or chase a ball (still working on the bringing back part. lol) My wife and I recently had a baby who is almost two and since then he hasn’t been very nice to him. We do have another dog that he gets along with but she’s a female so maybe he’ll be good with dogs of his choosing or maybe only females. He is very sweet to his owners and older kids. He does need work in socializing. He’s fine when on a leash in public but still will occasionally growl at passersby. If he’s comfortable with you he’s also a very cuddly dog. All in all he is a good boy, he’s just not very fond of the baby and needs a little work in public which is why we need to rehome him.

Story
Introducing Zeke, a truly remarkable pup whose heartwarming spirit and playful energy are ready to light up a new home. Zeke is a handsome, resilient boy who, through no fault of his own, found himself searching for a new home. He's more than ready to embark on his next chapter, seeking a loving, forever family to call his own. Zeke is a bundle of joyful energy, known for his silliness and ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. While he may start off shy, it doesn't take long for his true personality to shine through. He quickly becomes an enthusiastic playmate who thrives on the company of other dogs and will gleefully encourage them to play. Zeke is a smart and well-mannered companion. He is potty-trained and comfortable in his crate. He also knows basic commands like "sit" and "go to your room," and his eagerness to please makes him a joy to train further. While he’s working on managing his excitement (which sometimes results in enthusiastic leaps!), his good intentions are always clear. Walks are a highlight of his day, offering him a chance to explore and burn off some of that youthful energy. His barks will let you know precisely when he needs to go outside or when he hears you approaching the door. If you’re seeking an active, affectionate, and charming dog who promises boundless love and entertainment, Zeke could be the perfect addition to your home. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
Sweet sweet sweet dog. Our family is heartbroken to let him go but it for his best. We fell on hard times financially and am not able to give him the life he deserves. We planned on fencing off our yard but are not able to. He likes to give chase to deer and runs up to people barking. He has never bitten anyone but he comes of scary running up to people so we don't chance it. Unfortunately we keep him leashed up so we don't have to constantly get him to come back. His recall is lacking when he gets focused on something of interest. He needs a fenced in yard or a farm to run free. We have 2 kids and 3 cats and he is great with them all. My kids are 16 and 10 so I would recommend him being rehomed to a family that isnt any younger. Like I said, I feel bad that he can't run free and be a dog. He needs the exercise.

Story
Animal Information: Max is an estimated 11 week old Australian Shepherd mix puppy currently weighing approximately 10 lbs. Max was confiscated after being found with multiple broken ribs from a suspected animal abuse case. Even with this rough start, Max appears to be a pretty normal puppy. He is a bit scared of loud noises. We are so happy to be bringing Max to the Seattle area in search of his forever family. Foster Profile:  Our family has fostered Max since he was 12 weeks old. He’s currently about 25 pounds. He quickly adapted to his environment. We have two other male dogs. Max has a great disposition and gets along well with both my adult dog and my teenage dog. Max has been around kids ranging from 6 to 17 . We have a fairly busy household, and he doesn’t seem to mind. He is a joy to have around. Max is highly food-motivated, slightly alpha and can hold his own with bigger dogs with whom he plays all the time. He is a super fluffy, white and tan coat. He doesn’t show any signs of shedding yet he smells good and is fully potty trained. He hasn’t had an accident in our house in over a month. Max loves to play outside and explore like every puppy. He has great recall and will come to the word “treat” when he gets distracted. He can be crated, but prefers to sleep with the pack. In the mornings, he is super snuggly and nibbles your ears. He is such an amazing dog and will make a great companion for somebody special. I think he would do well in an active family home or a home that has other dogs. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from San Bernadino Animal Control, in partnership with ARF our rescue partner in San Bernadino, CA. He was transferred via START, arriving to foster care on 2/5/2026 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.April 25, 2026, 9:48 am
