Story
This is Frodo. He is an almost 4 year old Australian Shepherd mix. He has quite a bit of energy but loves going to dog parks to run or chase a ball (still working on the bringing back part. lol) My wife and I recently had a baby who is almost two and since then he hasn’t been very nice to him. We do have another dog that he gets along with but she’s a female so maybe he’ll be good with dogs of his choosing or maybe only females. He is very sweet to his owners and older kids. He does need work in socializing. He’s fine when on a leash in public but still will occasionally growl at passersby. If he’s comfortable with you he’s also a very cuddly dog. All in all he is a good boy, he’s just not very fond of the baby and needs a little work in public which is why we need to rehome him.

While he is still learning to trust and build his confidence, he absolutely loves being around other dogs.Beans is continuing to work on his leash skills and is not yet house-trained, but he has made great progress during his time at WAIF.
