Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Black Diamond, WA Meet Wrigley! He is an 6 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 50 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Wrigley is fearful of strangers! He is good with older children! No dogs, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around younger children or cats. Wrigley has bitten 3 people. When he was around 2 years old, he ran out the front door and bit the delivery man on the ankle, while he was standing on the owner’s porch. He bit a stranger two years ago who entered the owner’s home. This week, the dog sitter had a stranger enter the owner’s home through the front door. The dog sitter opened the crate and Wrigley bit the stranger on the leg. The dog sitter attempted to remove Wrangley, but Wrangley bit him on the hand. Wrigley barks and gets agitated at the fence when he can hear the neighbors and their dogs. He gets trazodone for car rides, due to his anxiety. The owner is surrendering him because of his bite incidents that were caused by situational triggers. The owner is unable to be home most of the time, due to their work schedule. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Wrigley, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Wrigley. Owner’s Contact Information: Rebecca at becnorris@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Magellan! He had been living on the street for a few months when someone asked if we could take him in. He’s sooooo happy and bouncy! He weighs 51 pounds and is about a year old, still a baby with sparkling white teeth! He is GREAT with the other dogs in the yard and so he is able to run free with the front yard pack. He has a chill disposition and isn’t dominant with the other dogs. Believe it or not, sometimes street dogs can be more well adjusted than a dog that is owner surrendered! He’s probably even good with cats, we can always cat test any dog! Magellan loves to play! He would be a great addition to any home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.April 26, 2024, 11:54 am

Story
HI - I'M JAKE! I'm a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd with a freckled nose in need of a new home. I weigh only 35 pounds! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time, and now ready to be adopted! I would love to be adopted by an active person or people who can take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I would do well with a single person, a couple or a family with kids over 12. I am loyal to a fault and can be protective of the house, so would do best if I'm not left out in a yard all day long. I am looking for a foster or forever home. Please email for an application.

Story
Beemo is a 65 pounds of love, who loves to be with his person at all times. He’s extremely affectionate and a real cuddle buddy. He loves playing outside, going for rides in the car, and sometimes just curling up on the couch for movie night. Beemo gets along great with other dogs and currently lives with his 11 year old foster brother Winslow, and the two are inseparable. This gentle giant walks well on leash. He is playful and is always very relaxed and sweet with people. He is truly a great companion who just wants to be loved and be your shadow. Beemo has been fostered with several other dogs and has had the time of his life getting to play with all of them. He’s never lived with any cats that we know of, but he’s never become reactive at the sight of a cat before. He has let kids of all ages pet him and loved every minute of it. Beemo would do best in a family who can offer him regular walks to make sure that he stays healthy. He is not a highly active pup, and once he wears off his energy, he turns into a couch potato. A home with a fully fenced yard will be a great option for him, so he could get his zoomies whenever possible. Beemo is only 2 years old, and fully vetted, current on vaccination, and is neutered and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and kept on preventatives. Beemo is currently being fostered in Houston, but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet this sweet pup via facetime or whatsapp or in person, please send an application available at www.savesomesouls.com

Story
Meet a timid lady Jinhee🩷 Jinhee was abandoned by a foreign worker. She used to hide in fear just from the sight of people’s hands. Even though she was facing the risk of euthanasia since she wasn’t used to being around humans, she's getting better now thanks to her foster family. Thanks to her foster who was understanding and patient for Jinhee, she now plays with people she trusts! Her days are being filled with more and more compliments. If you understand and wait for her, you will be able to see Jinhee’s ever growing love! ✨You need to approach her carefully because she can be surprised or uncomfortable with people who scream, or makes large gestures or actions. 💟 Personality / Characteristics * Keywords: #Charming #Timid #Mildtempered * Energy Level (1~10): Level 4 *Can be uncomfortable at doggy friends who actively and boldly come at her, but Jinhee can greet doggy friends coming slowly with a good manner! *Doesn’t particularly react to cats during her walking session. *Prefers a person who moves slowly and quietly than a person with a loud voice and moves too boldly!💗 *Jinhee who can be a calm girl even when she is playing with her foster can be more outgoing too! When her foster tosses the stuffed toy, she brings it to the foster and enjoys playing the tug play. *Can be uncomfortable when someone comes at her too actively and boldly.😭 Doesn’t like high-pitched, loud sounds. *Prefers walking with her foster and enjoying the surroundings than actively playing and running around with doggy friends. *Mostly rests during the daytime and becomes more active and plays in nighttime.❤️ *Can briefly bark on the sound of the door knock but doesn’t bark most of the time. *Doesn’t prefer bathing but she can patiently tolerate it. *No carsickness. *Tends to shed slightly but sheds more during shedding season! Jinhee favors her foster to brush her hair and getting cuddled and really loves her hair to be brushed more and often! *Mastered “Sit”, “Fighting”, “Kissing her foster”! *Jinhee’s favorites: Her foster and dog Churu snack. 💙 Foster account 👉🏻 @adogs_jinhee

Story
I'm Choa, 4-year–old –female Border Collie mix, a spirited pup with a story to tell. In 2020, I faced difficult at the City Center luckly, I was rescued right before being putting down and found my way to a training center where I've been thriving ever since. I might be a bit shy at first, but trust me, it won't take long for us to become fast friends. I've got a friendly and social nature, and I get along well with other dogs. I'm always up for a playdate, eager to make new friends, and I greet strangers with a wagging tail, ready for some fun. I'm not one to pick fights, even if other dogs try to provoke me. I find comfort and peace in the company of my furry pals, and being around them makes me feel secure. I'm a pro at walks—no pulling, just a steady companion by your side. After our stroll, I'm content to rest quietly, whether it's lounging around or cozying up in my kennel. I'm not much of a barker, and I don’t guard my food and happy to share my snacks with other dogs. I prefer doing my business outdoors for my bathroom breaks. I've got a calm energy that makes me a joy to have around. let's create wonderful memories together! If you're looking for a loyal companion who's overcome challenges and is ready to share a lifetime of love, look no further.
