Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Lincoln! He is a very high energy, active and sweet 2-year-old, 40 lb Australian Shepherd. He is a happy boy and loves to get attention from his people! He will do great with a family that understands herding dogs and their needs. He can be strong willed and is still working on basic obedience and will need a family that will continue his training. He is working on not jumping up and mouthing right now so he needs an adult only home or a home with kids over 14. He is super sweet, but he has a lot of happy and unfocused energy. He is very smart and will thrive with training. He would love to be in a home in a suburban or rural neighborhood with a securely fenced yard for him to run and play. He will do best in a home where someone is home much of the time. He likes other dogs but can play very rough with them and would rather spend time with his humans so for that reason we are looking for a home for him as an only dog or with another dog who is able to handle his rough play. He will need an adopter that will keep him physically and mentally active and would make a great jogging or adventure buddy. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
IMMEDIATE FOSTER NEEDED: Meet Fury! He is a 9-year-old, 55 lb Blue Merle AKC registered Australian Shepherd who was surrendered to us as his owner could no longer care for him. Fury loves to be petted, pampered and groomed. He likes playing by himself with soccer balls and plushie toys, tossing and chasing them around. He also loves to lounge in the sunshine! Fury would like to find himself his very own retirement home where he can be an only dog with his own securely fenced yard to relax in during the day, and a cozy kennel at night. He would do best in a home where he can be the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention. He walks well on a leash for the most part but can be leash reactive and he does not care for other male dogs or dogs who get in his face on leash. He would do best in a quiet suburban or rural neighborhood. Fury has been gentle with the young child in his previous home under supervision but in typical herding fashion nips at anyone who runs next to him, so it is recommended that he goes to an adult only home or with children over 12. Fury has recently had a dental and is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. As a senior boy, he deserves more than spending his golden years in a commercial kennel and we are looking for a foster family who want to love him and care for him for the rest of his life.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Say hello to this sweet girl, Darby! She is a 7-month-old, 37 LB Aussie mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Darby is a very loving dog with a beautiful silver-tri color coat. She is still very shy in new situations and will need time to gain her confidence. She is looking for an adopter that is patient in giving her time to open up, gain trust, and bond. She would do best in a quieter and calmer home and neighborhood. No apartment or busy city life for her. Darby has done well with other dogs in our care and would love another playful dog in the home as they give her confidence. She would love a home with a fully fenced yard. She will be a very loyal companion to whoever adopts her! Darby has UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing Whisper! She is an 11-month-old, 30 LB Australian Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA in hopes of finding her forever home here in WA! Whisper is a very spunky and outgoing girl! She is active, charming, sweet, and will thrive best in a younger more active household that will be able to provide her with the mental and physical stimulation she needs. We are looking for adopters that know the breed and the energy level, as she is just getting started and has no intention of slowing down anytime soon! Whisper loves people! She can be quite goofy and loves to roll around on the ground, especially on her back for belly rubs. She also makes for a big tripping hazard as she is still learning her leash manners and will get right in between your legs. Whisper has done great with other dogs and would be a wonderful additional dog to a home. She would also do fine as an only dog if she was provided continued socialization. Whisper would love a home that has a large fenced yard outside of the city for her to run around and play, as well as to burn some energy. She will also need adopters that will keep her engaged as she is very smart and will easily find ways to get in to trouble if she is bored. With some training, continued exposure, and a solid routine, she will make for an amazing and loyal companion! Whisper is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She has not been tested with cats or kids. Her adoption fee is $500.
