Story
Jax is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s incredibly sweet, cuddly, and full of energy. He loves to play, explore, and be close to people, he’s truly a fun and loving companion. Unfortunately, Jax didn’t get the socialization he needed from his first two owners, he has a hard time getting along with other dogs. He would do best in a home where he’s the only pet, with people who are patient and experienced who can continue helping him build confidence and trust. He deserves a home where he can thrive with someone who understands the needs of an energetic and affectionate breed like Jax. If you or someone you know might be the right fit, please reach out. I’m committed to finding Jax a safe and loving forever home.

Story
Hi! My name is Appa and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by my previous owner on April 29, 2026 because I didn`t get along well with the resident male dogs in the home and can be quite anxious around children. I am friendly with adults, crate-trained, potty-trained, walk great on leash and super sweet!I weigh 58 lbs and am considered a large breed dog.My previous owner wanted to say this to whomever adopts me, `Dear Appa’s New Family,Thank you for opening your home and your hearts to Appa. Writing this letter is incredibly difficult for us, but it also brings us comfort knowing he is going to a family who is willing to love him the way he deserves. We’ve had Appa since he was just 8 weeks old, and for the past six years he has been a deeply loved member of our family. He is an amazing dog with so much personality, intelligence, and love to give. One of the first things you’ll notice about him is how eager he is to please. He learns incredibly quickly!! When we taught him how to spin, he picked it up in just a few minutes. He truly thrives when he’s engaged and learning, especially when treats are involved, as he is very food motivated. He loves a good mount biking ride and knows how to follow or stay in front of you and be out of the way. On these kinds of activities he usually doesn’t even notice other people passing by.Appa absolutely loves to play fetch, especially with his favorite ball which we left him with. It’s one of his happiest activities, and it’s a great way to bond with him and burn off his energy. At the end of the day though his favorite place is right next to his people. He loves to cuddle and just be close, and those quiet moments are when his sweet nature really comes out. Please know that this decision did not come easily to us. It has been one of the hardest choices we’ve ever had to make. We love Appa dearly, and letting him go was done with careful thought and with his best interest and the other dogs in our home in mind. More than anything, we want him to have a life where he can thrive, feel safe, and be deeply loved. We hope he brings you as much joy, laughter, and companionship as he has brought us. He is truly a special dog, and he deserves the very best. Thank you again for giving Appa a loving home.`

Story
Australian Shepherd/ Lab is the closest breed we can guess on her. Sorry we don't have good photos of sweet Sally. She was in foster in Texas since a puppy! She is totally trained with playing with a playgroup of dogs several times/day. Finally her turn at about 2 years to be adopted. ! House and potty trained!!! woof woof. Super affectionate sweet loving dog. She is a little shy at first, but opens up quickly. Has done great with other all other dogs even young puppies when done with proper introductions. She is with a rescue that is friends of Lufkin TX Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter friends. loving sweet sweet pup t is nearly impossible to say the breeds but her brother did have some Great Pyrenees in his DNA test. All of her siblings were adopted as puppies, its long been Sally's time to find her FOREVER home. https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ If interested we would have you speak with her rescuer. Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. As we know, mutts statistically speaking will live longer and have less vet bills!. All of our Lufkin Kurth Texas dogs were hand selected and are literally their favorites. Everyone who has adopted adores their dogs. She will totally win you over. , Please do apply!!! All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on DHPP and rabies shots, microchipped, tested hw negative, so all of that is done. Our adoptions include professional dog rescue transport to WA and health certificates (vet visit just prior to coming to WA). Any questions, please email us at shaynesrescue@gmail.com Best to include your phone number and good times to call too!

Super friendly with dogs and humans, we believe 100% house trained but on occasion we could be incorrect, so please understand about that If you need him cat tested, please just ask us shaynesrescue@gmail.com Yes we have amazing dog rescue professional transporters who bring them in air conditioned vans to all over the 48 states of course including WA state.
