WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Skye! Your forecast calls for a 100% chance of LOVE! Skye is a 1-year-old, 25-pound mystery mix, and while we may not know exactly which breeds went into making this girl, we're pretty sure they got the recipe just right! Her breed is anyone's guess, but one thing is certain: Skye is pretty darn close to perfect. This sweet girl is the definition of easygoing. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is quiet and submissive, and would rather keep the peace than get involved in any drama. Basically, she's the Switzerland of the dog world. No arguments, no unnecessary barking, no need to be the main character. She's just happy to go with the flow and enjoy life. Want a dog who can share the spotlight with other pups? Skye's your girl! Prefer a one-dog household where she can have all the love to herself? She's perfectly happy with that, too. She's an equal-opportunity sweetheart! And hold on, because it gets even better. Skye is house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, knows how to use a dog door, and does great in her kennel. At just one year old, she's already got the whole responsible-adult thing figured out. Meanwhile, some of us are still trying to remember why we walked into a room. Skye would be happy in a house or an apartment, as long as she has a loving family to call her own. She doesn't need a life full of excitement or a calendar packed with activities. Just a cozy spot, kind people, and a family who appreciates a gentle little soul. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet, well-mannered companion who fits easily into your life, Skye might just be your silver lining. Apply to adopt Skye and let this little cloud of happiness float right into your heart!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there... I'm Dixie. I'm quite literally the best girl, according to the staff and volunteers here at the rescue. About me: I LOVE the water—I could swim all day! I'm fully potty and house trained, and I'll even let you know when I need to go outside by crying at the door. I walk nicely on a leash and absolutely love playing fetch (at least until my age catches up with me. I know my name, and have excellent recall. I seem to do okay with larger dogs, but smaller dogs I do not like.  I am a quiet, gentle soul looking for a forever home to call my own. While I may be a little older, I still enjoy playing with my toys and spending time with other dogs when the mood strikes. My journey here has been quite the adventure. During a big storm, the local fire department found me in the water and brought me to the rescue. They later realized they had actually been trying to catch me for months, believing I was a stray. But it turns out I wasn't always on my own. I once had a loving owner, but after he passed away, I was given away because his mother was no longer able to care for me due to her own health challenges. I'm already spayed, fully vaccinated, 4DX tested (positive for heartworm), and up to date on my ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. I am heartworm positive right now, but I’ve already started treatment. I’ve been on antibiotics and am going through the ProHeart 12 protocol approved by the American Heartworm Society. The good news is that with this treatment, I should test negative in about 8–10 months. My adoption fee is $250, and you can apply to adopt me at www.adoggie4you.org. I'm currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Due to state regulations, I cannot be transported to Rhode Island or Massachusetts.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 14, 2026, 4:50 pm

Story
Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I want to be the Queen of the house :D Adopt me and I will fill YOUR home with my love and devotion. Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Wiley! Wiley is an approximately 1.5 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix (best guess) with a happy personality and a very smart mind. He is an active boy who is always ready for his next adventure and would thrive with a family that understands the needs of intelligent working breeds. Wiley is high energy and will need a breed knowledgeable owner committed to continuing his training and providing both mental and physical stimulation. He is eager to learn and already does pretty well on a leash. With consistency and structure, Wiley has the potential to become an incredible companion. He would do best with an active family that enjoys walks, outdoor activities, training, and keeping their dogs engaged. Wiley is the kind of dog who wants to be involved in life right alongside his people. Wiley is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
