Story
Hello, World. Meet Zoey Zhanna! -ADVENTURE PARTNER -OUTDOOR SUPERSTAR Zoey is currently about 6 months old and we think she may be a Lab mix but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! From her foster: "She is a true herding dog and thrives with a family. She gets bored easily and will find something to do - So she'll keep you busy! She is so smart - good and bad. You gotta keep her busy too lol. She is protective and has a strong personality" Zoey is playful and SUPER sweet. She absolutely THRIVES on affection and cuddling is her language of choice. She loves to play with other dogs and her toys and then cuddle up for a nap. Zoey is still pretty young so she will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, she will make up for it with a bunch of kisses! Her new family will have to work with him on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As she gets older we anticipate she will be a higher energy dog and will likely require physical and mental exercise daily. She will be perfect to take on long walks around the neighborhood! Zoey is still at the age where she can be easily socialized to coexist with children, dogs & cats! Don't miss out on this amazing girl! The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Oreo Cookie is a total FLIRT! Yes, once you meet him you will fall in love with him. It happens to everyone he meets! That’s why we pulled him from the shelter when he was on the euth list because he won our hearts over too! Oreo Cookie is definitely the perfect guy if you are looking for a dog that you can take out in public. I took him to a local festival that was super busy and full of crowds and he loves getting attention from all of the kids and adults! So whether you want a dog to take to a brewery, camping or just to a park he would love to tag along. Oreo likes other dogs too! He engages in the full on let’s tackle and roll around play with other dogs. But he would totally be happy as the only dog in the home too! Oreo passed his cat test! I think he really was just not sure what kind of creature the cat was. Lol! Oreo is great with kids and would do well in a home with them. Oreo Cookie is a one of a kind and would love to go to a home where he can just be with a person(s) who loves him! Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! Apply today! Adoption Application Questions? Story
Johnny ended up at the shelter as a stray. He is very shy at first, but warms up quickly! He appears to be about 10 months-1 year old and is still very puppy-ish. Johnny will need some basic training and lots of exercise to be the best pup he can be! He has gotten along well with most other dogs here at the shelter, but a meet and greet is highly recommended to make sure he gets along with any other dogs in the home. If you're looking for a silly shadow, Johnny's your boy!

Story
Simba is a sweet and sensitive border collie mix. He loves to play outside with the other dogs in his foster home. Simba is a high energy boy and would love to be part of an active family, and if there was another dog for him to play with, he would love that as well. He is fully house trained also.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Oh my gosh! Hi!!! I’m Happy Jack and I’m so excited to meet you. I’m about 3-years-old, a Border Collie mix, I have gorgeous grey spots and the softest, most pet-able fur (boy do I ever love to be pet). I weigh about 50 pounds, and I’m fully grown, I walk pretty well on the leash and LOVE going for walks. I know sit and down, and I’m working on stay and shake. I’ll do almost anything for a treat so training has been going well. I respond very well to a stern no, as I’m still learning all the rules of being a house dog. I sleep all night silently in my crate, and go in easily during the day, but I’m not destructive so I can be left unattended from time to time. I’m also a pretty quiet guy and I don’t bark very often. My foster mom says I’m the happiest and sweetest foster pup she’s had yet. I love running in the yard, playing fetch, laying in the sun, getting love and attention, and giving love to my temporary humans. I get along very well with other dogs and would do great in a home with another playful dog. I LOVE people and the big kids I’ve been around, I haven’t been around small kids, but my foster family thinks I would do well with them. I am not sure about cats, because as far as anyone knows I haven’t met one, but I would be willing to do a meeting if a potential new family has a cat. All I’m really looking for in a family is the chance to be loved. I don’t need a lot of exercise to be happy, but I do like getting out, I am pretty far along on my “domesticated” dog training, but could use some continued training, just like all dogs. If you think I could be what your family is looking for, apply to meet me at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 9, 2023, 2:52 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello Future Family! My name is Doogee and I am the best little boy you'll ever meet. I'm a 6-month old shepherd/collie mix and I currently weigh about 30lbs and will be somewhere around 50-60lbs full grown. I have the smarts of a collie and shepherd, but I'm a Velcro buddy and just want to snuggle, snuggling is my favorite. My foster mom brags that I am the easiest puppy foster she's ever had because I'm crate trained, potty trained, and doggy door trained. I know all the things and can't wait to learn the rest. I'm a happy-go-lucky pup who loves to play with my foster fur siblings and squeaker toys, but I also love naps and just chilling. I would do great with another fur siblings to show me the ropes, though I'd probably do well as a solo dog as long as I get all of the love and attention I deserve. I can't wait until I'm old enough to go on hikes and adventures and I would love an active family that also enjoys a good movie night cuddle and snooze. I have met both cats and children and I do well with both. In fact, I LOVE kids because they give the best pets. As with any puppy and small child, I should always be supervised, though my foster mom thinks I'll make a great best friend. Apply to meet Doogee today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 9, 2023, 2:52 pm
