APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. Jack is a male Shepherd mix, about 5 yrs old. He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. This guy needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day. He deserves a second chance…he needs someone who believes in him! Check our You Tube Video: https://youtu.be/zawD9-77Oxs This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Meet Lily! Lily is an 11-month-old spayed Border Collie mix who's ready to find an active family to call her own! She's up to date on her vaccinations and has all the energy, intelligence, and enthusiasm you'd expect from a young Border Collie mix. Lily does well with other large dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion her size. Because she has a strong prey drive, she'll need a home without cats or small dogs. She'll thrive with an adopter who can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and continued training to keep both her mind and body engaged. In return, Lily will reward you with loyalty, fun, and endless adventure. If you're looking for a smart, active companion to join you on hikes, walks, and everyday adventures, Lily may be the perfect match!

Like many clever Border Collie types, she`ll thrive in a home that gives her a job to do, whether that`s learning new tricks, solving puzzle toys, participating in dog sports, or simply having fun training sessions with her favorite people. One of her favorite `assignments` is playing fetch—she`s always happy to chase a ball and would love a family that shares her enthusiasm for a good game.
