Story
Ginger has been part of our family for over 8 years. My brother and sister-in-law adopted her at about a year and a half old, to grow up with their son Alec. She is very bonded with her 'brother' Skooter who was adopted about 6 years ago. They hope to remain together. My sister-in-law and brother have both passed away, about 18 months apart. I moved into their house with my nephew, Alec, and both dogs in October of 2021. Our circumstances are now changing, and we cannot keep the dogs. Ginger is very loving, playful, protective, assertive, not overly friendly with strangers, and territorial. She does not always do well with meeting other dogs. Ginger is fearful of loud noises- thunder, fireworks, gun shots. She has exceptional hearing, and will bark at anything she sees outside. She needs to be introduced to new people slowly, and would not do well around small kids. She is resistant to being brushed, or having her toenails trimmed, but has been to groomers in the past.

Story
In foster in Bothell, WA Cheyenne is a very sweet, social, good with other dogs pup. She is half pure Border Collie. Her mom is a goat herding dog. We are not sure who dad is. This was a surrender after their unspayed female had puppies. Cheyenne was saved by CCPAL Rescue. Cheyenne is a Border Collie mix. The momma dog is a pure bred Border Collie. These pups should be 40 pounds full grown is our best estimate. The other parent is a mystery. The momma is a farm dog and herds the goats. Cheyenne has medium length coat and it is nice and soft. The pups like water, are affectionate and smart. They were good getting their bath and Cheyenne is soft and quiet when you pick her up. The two girls in this litter are smaller than the boys and a lot less energetic. She has the beautiful longer coat like the Border Collie. We would like someone who has owned the working breed or a border collie. People who have had a BC do love this breed. She is good in her litter playing and is less energetic than the boys. She was turned in by the person that had the female Border Collie. These pups are precious and would be fine with children or other dogs. We like the children to be 8 or older. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Scarlett is a very lovely girl who is loyal and smart.  She's done well with most dogs she's been around.  We discovered she does not like white German Shepherds however.  She was picked up by animal control with a poodle mix boy, Quincy, and they likely came from the same home as they seem to know each other well (vs meeting up on the streets).  She's slow going when meeting bigger dogs in general until she knows they're no threat to her but does great with smaller dogs.   She has been barking at the resident cat when she sees her but hasn't been face to face so we would say no cats until we know otherwise.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 3, 2023, 3:37 pm

Edgewood, WA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Bandit is 3 years old. He is a loving and caring dog. He has a lot of energy, loves to chase balls and frisbee's. We recently got a puppy and Bandit is friendly and patient with him. Bandit is smart. He learns quickly and likes puzzles. He has completed a level 1 training class. Additional training is recommended. Bandit currently lives with his 3 and 7 year old human sisters. They love and adore him and are going to miss him. He enjoys chasing them around and relaxing on the couch with them. Bandit is a versatile dog and will make a great addition to most homes. Unfortunately, we have made the decision to rehome Bandit after a biting incident with one of the neighborhood kids. Bandit is usually excited when meeting new people and he is usually good with both adults and kids. While he has met and played with dozens of kids over the years, we have had 2 biting incidents with this one kid about each about a year apart. We don't know why but decided it would be best to separate them.
