Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites. Clementine is a wonderful girl who's seeking a committed home and family to take good care of her and love her for the rest of her life.  She appears to be a herding breed mix, maybe Border Collie mix but doesn't have the "busy life" characteristics of a border collie.  She was found as a stray in Tacoma and owners never found.  She had severe itching and bald spots when we got her, and it's cleared up with some meds and TLC.  It was due to overabundance of yeast all over her.   She just needs a lower carb diet to keep the yeast away; like Merrick, Taste of the Wild or Orijin to name a few.     She's a quiet girl, good on leash and loves to explore.  She is crate trained and has shown good house manners.  We are requiring a securely fenced yard for this girl, no exceptions.  Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 6:41 pm

Story
I rescued a big girl in Eastern WA but her predator drive is too strong to integrate into our pack with small cats and dogs. I am looking to rehome her, and found your website trying to find people who would understand her? Her history: 2 yo, boarder collie/lab/Pyrenees mix? She is already spayed and up to date on her shots. She’s mostly lived outside for her whole life but is really enjoying being inside. Great guard dog- she is big. Cons: She cannot be around small dogs. She can be food/toy/bone possessive. She is an alpha female. Pros: She is so calm and sweet. Very praise motivated. She is so amazingly good with my kids. Really paying attention to them, herding them gently and as soon as she hears a cry or or disruption she is racing over to make it better. I’ve got her responding to Sit, Stay, down, come and Leave it Commands and she is doing really well. She absolutely LOVES people!!! Super praise motivated and smart!

Story
Bear is a 4-year-old Border Collie with a heart as big as his smarts! This brilliant, kind, and loving dog is ready to charm his way into your life with his friendly nature and impeccable manners. Bear adores everyone he meets—humans and dogs alike—and thrives on playtime, especially games of fetch with balls, kongs, and toy bones. Bear is a superstar when it comes to training. He knows commands like sit, stay, wait, down, come, place, and even "bedtime"! He’s fantastic on leash, only barks to alert you of a knock at the door (and stops promptly when told), and is completely potty trained. He’s also non-destructive, making him an all-around amazing companion. Bear does have Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, which is managed with a special diet and medication he takes easily. This doesn’t slow him down one bit—he’s always up for a long walk or an adventure with his people. If you’re looking for a brilliant, affectionate, and playful companion, Bear might just be your perfect match!

Story
Chappell is a 1-year-old, 68 lb Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix who’s ready to find her forever home! She came to us shy, uncertain, and struggling with separation anxiety after spending her early life in a yard with multiple dogs and little socialization. But with time, patience, and love, Chappell has blossomed into an incredibly sweet, playful, and caring companion. What Chappell Loves: • Running around the backyard with her foster siblings • Snuggling up to watch TV after a fun day of play • Collecting her “treasures” (toys and blankets) and arranging them in her kennel to sleep on Chappell’s Progress: • Her separation anxiety is a thing of the past! • She’s comfortable in her kennel, which she considers her “safe space.” • She’s learning leash skills and doing great! • She’s medium-energy, blending playfulness with moments of calm. Great with Others: Chappell gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is curious about cats, and adores kids. Her gentle, silly personality shines once she’s had a little time to warm up. The Perfect Home: Chappell would thrive with a family who can provide her with love, consistency, and maybe even a few snuggle buddies. She’s smart, eager to learn, and ready to bond with her forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal and goofy companion to brighten your days, Chappell might just be the perfect fit. Give this sweet girl the warm bed and loving home she deserves.
