Story
Koa is such a sweet loving loyal dog, he loves to play or just hang around to keep you company. He loves soft squeaky toys and know s lots of commands. Sit, down, stay, speak, up, hug, wait, ok, go, heel, and so much more, he is so smart. He is also good outside and inside the house. He knows what spot means as in his own spot. He's good with children and other dogs as well. He's a good boy and our home is going to have a hard time to let him go.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Scarlett is a very lovely girl who is loyal and smart.  She's done well with most dogs she's been around.  We discovered she does not like white German Shepherds however.  She was picked up by animal control with a poodle mix boy, Quincy, and they likely came from the same home as they seem to know each other well (vs meeting up on the streets).  She's slow going when meeting bigger dogs in general until she knows they're no threat to her but does great with smaller dogs.   She has been barking at the resident cat when she sees her but hasn't been face to face so we would say no cats until we know otherwise.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 4, 2023, 7:33 pm

Story
Meet Max. He is a border collie between 6-8 years old. He loves to play fetch, go on walks, and cuddling. He is incredibly sweet and gentle. Unfortunately, his owners (which are my grandparents) had to move into assisted living and he is not allowed at the facility. We took him in for the time being and are just hoping to find him a loving home.

Story
Hi, my name is Vaco, As you can see, I am an adorable puppy who loves to play. I start out a bit shy until I get to know you. The same goes with other dogs too. I am a bit wary, and I might bark at first, but look out once I get used to them.I am your typical puppy who likes to play with things. It might be a toy or a stick or just a paper box, they all get the once over from me. I have not lived with children so I am not sure how I would get along with them. I am very curious about cats but I haven’t been up close and personal with them.I get very excited when I think we are going somewhere fun. I like the car ride but after a bit my tummy gets weird and I don’t feel well.I think I would love the beach even though I haven’t been there yet. I am still very much a puppy and will need some help being the best dog I can be. I am working on some of my basic commands like sit, stay and come and I listen much better when I know there is a treat being offered. If it sounds like I am the pup you have been looking for then just send in an application and we can meet over a Zoom call.Lots of love to give.Vaco To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Story
Welcome Cheyenne to CCPAL Rescue. Cheyenne is a 13-week-old Border Collie mix. The momma dog is a pure bred Border Collie. Thes pups should be 40 pounds full grown is our best estimate. The other parent is a mystery. The momma is a farm dog and herds the goats. Cheyenne has medium length coat and it is nice and soft. The pups like water, are affectionate and smart. They were good getting their bath and Cheyenne is soft and quiet when you pick her up. The two girls in this litter are smaller than the boys and a lot less energetic. She has the beautiful longer coat like the Border Collie. We would like someone who has owned the working breed or a border collie. People who have had a BC do love this breed. She is good in her litter playing and is less energetic than the boys. Today she got her first round of vaccines and her Nexgard. She will be loved on by the kennel workers here at the shelter until she finds her new home. She was turned in by the person that had the female Border Collie. These pups are precious and would be fine with children or other dogs. We like the children to be 8 or older. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video!!
