You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.  Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.  Bolt is a great dog!  He loves everyone, kids, cats, dogs!  He has good recall, some obedience, is crate trained, house trained & just good house manners.   He was returned to us after several years as the child in the family developed severe allergies to him.  It was life threatening for her.  He was very loved by his family.   Who can give this dol a forever home and get your new BFF too!?   &#226&#128&#139Please visit our website directly to complete an online application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 15, 2024, 10:34 pm

Story
Frankie is super healthy and sweet as can be. My family adopted him at 3 months old from the Tacoma shelter for our our two young sons. Life has changed a lot since then, and as an empty nester who lives alone in an apartment and works full time, I believe Frankie deserves a happy home with a family or person that can give him more time and attention because he is so full of love to give. He is loyal and gentle and still very playful and energetic at almost 11 years old! Also, he makes a great guard dog due to his protective nature (even though he would not hurt a fly...shhhh don't tell anyone :)

Story
Hi I am Buddy,I have been told that I am a beautiful dog with my long coat and big brown eyes, but they could be just joking with me!Even though I am over a year old I still like to play like a puppy. I live with a lot of dogs right now. I would love to be the leader of the pack, but I know that I need to wait my turn. I live with cats too, I like to chase them so we can play but they are not happy to do that.I learn something every day, so I am pretty good with basic commands especially if it leads to a treat. I like to walk on a leash, but I pull sometimes when I see something interesting. I am very affectionate and want to give kisses to everyone. I have not lived with kids and frankly, they kind of scare me. But toys are my thing, I love them all.I spend most of my days outside so you may need to work with me for potty breaks. Once I know where to go, I will go there every time.I haven’t been to the beach yet, but I think I would love it. Car rides are lots of fun too.If it sounds like I would fit into your family, then fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love, Buddy To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Freddie is the funniest, 18mo old 50lb guy! He is very active and much prefers to run and dance versus walking. He twirls when he runs and will leap back and forth in excitement when he knows a treat is coming. We are working on calming behaviors and impulse control, but he just gets so excited about being outside with his pals, it’s hard for him to settle down for at least the first 15 min of playtime. Then he’s more likely to pay attention to training games that teach more manners and commands. He appears to be a border collie / husky mix, with what else, we don’t know. His intelligence suggests this, too. Freddie would be an awesome hiking partner. After a short run, he’s also learning how to walk properly on a leash. Because of an old injury to his front foot when he was a puppy, he is not a candidate for long distance jogging or running. Walking and especially hiking would be the perfect outdoor activities instead. Freddie loves other dogs so lots of doggy play dates are a must, although he doesn’t need another dog in the home. He has not been tested with cats, so no kitties please. He loves children but he’s still learning to be polite so kids must be over 12yrs old. An active home with a fenced yard is required. He does NOT have the herding tendencies like others of his breed type. Freddie is crate trained and almost completely house trained. If he has potty breaks at least every 4-5hrs, he’s doing great with his training.  If you would like to meet this wonderful boy please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone numberl.  Adoptioin fee is $250.April 14, 2024, 11:03 am

Story
Goose is an adorable 6 month old male pup who came to us from Yakima. He's a Border Collie Cattle Dog mix, so if you love the herding breeds, Goose might be the perfect pup for you. He sleeps and eats in his crate and is fully potty trained. Right now he's being fostered in a home with older dogs and doing great, even though they don't have the play energy he does. :) Goose gets very attached to his person and loves to be with that person, but goes into his crate with ease when breaks are needed. His herding instinct can come out around small humans and their quick movements, so he will probably do best in a home with teens and without cats. He is super playful and fun in a fenced back yard, and he is learning how to enjoy walks. All the big city noises take some getting used to, but with a patient, loving adopter, we have no doubt that Goose will be a great companion and family member who will love going on outdoor adventures. Please email us at rhas.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like to meet him. And please be patient. We have one adoption coordinator doing their best to coordinate adoptions for many pups. ================================================= WE DO NOT RESPOND TO AdoptaPet INQUIRIES OR PHONE CALLS, ONLY EMAILS. If you have any additional questions, or would like to adopt Goose, please send us an email at rhas.adoptions@gmail.com and we will send you an adopter survey. Please note that we are a foster to adopt only rescue. As a foster, you get to "test drive" your chosen dog to make sure it's a good fit prior to adoption. We want you and the dog to have the best fit possible! Resilient Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue in Seattle, WA. 100% of adoption fees go towards helping us save more high-risk animals, and unite them with their forever families in the PNW! Story
HI - I'M ZOE! I'm a beautiful and shy 2-year-old female Border Collie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I am a shy and timid girl, but once I warm up to you I will be your best friend. I would do best with an active person or people who can take me for walks, hikes, beach outings and other adventures. I weigh only 43 lbs. Please email for an application.
