Millie is just the sweetest and loving companion. She loves so deeply that it feels like she can crawl up into your arms and live there forever. She's perfect to be in the house all day without an accident. She wants to play fetch all day long and it's easy as I walk her. We're having trouble lately with her companion and it has become too aggressive for our household. We have young children. I've tried everything for about a month to separate them to not have food together, kennel outdoor and indoor locations. I believe Millie needs a better place to live that will give her a lot of affection and calmness.

He will sprawl out in front of the couch while his foster family watches TV. Vader also loves to go on casual walks, energetic jogs and long hikes- no pulling the leash! He copies your mood and just enjoys being with company. He truly is a sweetie. When he’s really very happy, his tail doesn’t just wag, it goes in circles like a helicopter! Vader is a beautiful 3-year-old Border Collie mix. He weighs 55 lbs. He is potty trained and has learned crate training while in foster. Vader knows how to sit, down, up, speak, fetch, and walk nicely on a leash. He learns quickly and is eager to please. Vader is a true gentleman! VADER DOES WELL WITH: • Young Kids – Vader has lived with a 1-year-old baby/toddler and a 12-year-old child very happily. • Adults – Vader is friendly with adults. VADER WOULD NEED HELP WITH: • Learning to trust – When Vader is in a new situation, it takes him a little time to become comfortable. Once you build that relationship, he blossoms! • Other dogs – Vader had a female Golden Retriever friend at his last house and has done well with his current foster’s son’s dogs (a male and a female, both large). He has not been around small dogs. When Vader first came into HUNAH, we were told that he was reactive on leash. We think that he is more excited when seeing dogs. He turns back to tug on his leash, which shows the ability to redirect his excitement. We believe that a patient owner could work through this issue. Vader would need to meet other dogs in the household before placement. • Cats – Fast movement excites Vader. He has chased cats, so a cat-free home or a very slow, structured introduction would be best. VADER IS UNKNOWN WITH: • Horses and Livestock – Vader has no experience. Australian Shepherd/ Lab is the closest breed we can guess on her. Sorry we don't have good photos of sweet Sally. She was in foster in Texas since a puppy! She is totally trained with playing with a playgroup of dogs several times/day. Finally her turn at about 2 years to be adopted. ! House and potty trained!!! woof woof. Super affectionate sweet loving dog. She is a little shy at first, but opens up quickly. Has done great with other all other dogs even young puppies when done with proper introductions. She is with a rescue that is friends of Lufkin TX Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter friends. loving sweet sweet pup t is nearly impossible to say the breeds but her brother did have some Great Pyrenees in his DNA test. He’s a bright, loving, beautiful, smart dog. He’s still young and everyday things still can surprise him. He’s getting better, still needs a little leash training. He loves other dogs and totally ignored my cats in the house in Texas and when he first came to WA he was is in foster near Lacey, WA with two dogs and two cats and doing great. He will play with one of the cats who enjoys playing with Taco and ignores the cat that wants him to ignore it! He is gentle and loves treats…a little shy of strangers but a gentle voice and treats wins him over quickly. He is strong and healthy…good for someone who wants a companion for hiking or running. He is good for long walks. He is about /60#s and because off his size I would not put small children with him. He is a little cautious with new people that is why we said NO chldren, but it really depends on the family , the age of the children, etc. We believe he is part Pit and part Australian Cattle Dog. Only a DNA test will tell for sure. He is house trained and crate trained. He does great riding in the car and is getting better at getting in the car voluntarily. I have found he learns quickly…smart dog. He knows his name but for a nickname we call him TACO PACO. The thing that makes him cute is his ears… they make him look like “The Flying Nun.” He’s so cute with such BIG ears! We say good with children but likely those would be at least 8 yrs old and up. Zoe is a very smart, highly verbal Australian blue heeler mix. I've had her since she was a puppy, but recent life changes have led me to think she would do better with a different family. It takes her about 15 seconds to get to know you, and once she does, she falls in love and is a loyal and protective companion. She is an impressive fetcher and likes to go on walks or jogs. She'll follow you around the house and yard all day and help you water your flowers.She also is fine to chill inside all day, and she can go extensive periods without needing to be let out.She'd be great for a solo owner or family, but since she wasn't socialized properly, she won't do well with other furry pets.
