Story
Meet Astro, a smart, affectionate boy who loves to explore the world with his favorite person. He's a sniffer extraordinaire on walks, checking out every scent along the way while constantly glancing back to make sure you're still with him. He knows several commands including sit and shake, and he's happy to show them off mid-walk just because he can. Life with Astro means a clever, devoted companion who will turn every walk into an adventure and never let you forget that you're his favorite part of it!

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. JASMINE (female) came from a litter of 7. 5 girls; 2 boys. Mama is a white shepherd-type dog about 40#. Daddy was probably the local Casanova, maybe a Border Collie mix. These pups were born on the first night we had freezing weather and 2 courageous ladies went out in the cold and caught the stray mama and her 7 puppies and brought them to our rescue. DOB 1/17/26. They are all playful and very happy. They have great color and a tail that curls over her back. They currently are about 13-16# and will probably be about 30-40# when grown. They are all spayed/neutered, vaccinations including Rabies, Bordetella, 3-4 DAPP. These will be great family dogs. Like most puppies, they do bark … not good for an apartment. They are used to be in kennels as well as being in the puppy pen outside. This is a great deal!!! Get in on the ground floor and adopt now so that the family can bond and have fun for the summer! Look at our YouTube Videos: April Puppies #1 https://youtu.be/m5GpCnts49c April Puppies #2 https://youtu.be/Q1ane0ehd50 This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in West WA. We really can say sweet Elfie is a mutt, but his breeds? very hard to say! ELFIE is a BOY…and looks like a little ELF with his cute tipped ears. These ears are common in the Wire-haired Terrier but Elfie does not have the wire-hair…it’s beautiful and soft. We think it could be a Fox Terrier mix. His DOB is 11/3/25. He will probably get to be 25#s perhaps?…best estimate. He is playful and loves other dogs. We think he'd be great with children because he is gentle (see pix). Elfie is great with people and will make a great family dog…active companion. We do not adopt puppies to households that are gone all day. They need interaction and care. Elfie is now nearly 100% potty trained! He also has a way of moving his “eyebrows’…the McDonald’s archway!
