Story
Hello, I'm Zippy. I'm the fastest dog at the dog park every. single. time. My family loves to take me on runs and hikes, but they can't seem to run me out of energy, ever. I love my adults, but I have snapped at small kids multiple times. When I was 1.5 human years, I bit a 3-year-old, he still loves me, but he has a small scar My humans had dog trainers come over and work with me, but I still make mistakes and growl and snap at kids at times. My family sends me to a super fun boarding place in Olympia twice a year, but I didn't do my best there. I ended up being grounded for most of the week, and now I can't go back to boarding. My family has tried everything. I can't go to public places anymore where there are crowds. I belong on a big farm, herding sheep all day. I am an outdoor dog with an awesome kennel and house, but I am usually found running back and forth in my cage, even after a long day out. Please help, I need more space and time.

Story
I would like to introduce you to Slater, he is a very sweet boy who is full of energy and LOVES being around people. Both he and his human mama (expecting her first baby) recently moved into our home, unfortunately between our work schedules and our other children he is being kept in a room all day. We would leave him outside except he barks nonstop if left alone outside for long periods of time and I do not want to bother our neighbors. Sometimes he has been left for 9-12 hours without attention and it isn't fair to him. This is no life for this sweet boy. He craves people and activity. We are doing everything in our power not to send him to a shelter, we all would be heartbroken as he is a lover. Please help us!

Story
Flynn is a funny, loving, obedient boy who loves to learn new tasks, fetch balls, swim, hike, and chew his antler. He’s got lots of border collie energy and needs room to run. We’re moving from a 2 acre property to an urban home and don’t think that will be the best environment for our Flynnie boy. He would love to be a family dog with teenagers, or a hiking/biking buddy for an active person or couple. He tends to be alpha with other dogs but is not reactive on or off leash. Great recall!

Story
Minka was born July 18th 2022, she is a very loving dog who loves to cuddle and be by her owners side. She gets along with cats and children just fine, dogs she is okay with but has strong herding instincts towards some since she is a herding breed, which could lead to relationship issues between the dogs. She goes on walks, hikes, car rides, and loves puzzles. She is food motivated which helps in training. She has lived with 2 other dogs and 4 cats since she was 8 weeks old, and herding instincts are only triggered with one of the two dogs. We are trying to find Minka a home that won't trigger her instincts to herd, or a home that gives her the freedom to use those instincts freely, such as a farm or property with a job for her to do. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to inquire.

Story
Teddy is a very loving sweet dog. 3 years old who is house trained and crate trained. He is very timid and mellow. The best environment for him would be a calm and relaxing one. Teddy hasn’t had a lot of experience with other dogs/ animals which can be a little stressful for him at times. If you’re constantly on the go he’s not the right dog for you. He needs someone who will chill out with him and be around him. Shots are all up to date. I would keep him if I could but my life has recently become very hectic and it’s unfair for me to keep him when I can’t be accommodating to his needs. The adoption fee is high because I need to weed out the bad apples. I want him to go to a person/family who actually wants him and will continue to treat him well. He’s been my best friend for 3 years and I want to find him the best home possible.

Story
Hi! My name is Maisy and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 06/01/2023.I am about 39.70lbs.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit`, `stay`, `come`, `down` and `shake`.I am an affectionate lovebug who would benefit from some training! Training can help with my mental stimulation for my health and well-being. I am full of energy, and I love to run! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. Mental enrichment fends off boredom, frustration, and anxiety, ultimately preventing undesirable behaviors, My caregivers have noticed that I might get along with other dogs I just need them to match my energy, when meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction. I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Please remember that with me being new to your home it can take me a few weeks or even months to come around and become the best dog I can be! So please be kind and patient with me as we learn together what we are both needing. With the right guidance from you, I will learn to be comfortable with my new family. My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Remi is 2yrs 9 months old. She was born in Northern California with 11 other puppies. She currently lives with a golden Retriever and gets along great with her. She loves the water and being outside. She loves to run and fetch balls. She hasn’t learned not to jump on people when they come into the house. I’m sure she is just trying to say hello! She thinks she is still a puppy and loves lap time. Remi is house trained and kenneled at night. She loves travelling in the truck and likes sticking her head out the window. She does not like her nails trimmed, not even a little…lol She has had a few episodes of getting aggressive, such as growling at me, especially if she doesn’t want you to have something. We had more property where she could run a lot more and now she has a backyard only. I don’t know if that is the issue or not. She is beautiful and full of energy. She needs a home she can run and play!

Story
Darling Duchess is almost 7mo old and barely weighs 25lbs. We expect her to be about 30-35lbs tops when she’s full grown. She is a very friendly, active, social puppy so she’d do best in a socially active home. Duchess loves other dogs of all sizes so another playful dog in the home would be best. She loves to play with the kitties, too! After she’s had her playtime and exercise for the day, she enjoys cuddling with her people. She would also like to curl up in your lap for afternoon naps. She is a great mix of active and easy going! She is crate trained and already house trained, although when settling in to a new home, she may gave a few potty accidents until she knows the new routine and layout if the house. Doggy door access would be a wonderful option! She loves to go on walks and explore do her foster mom is working on leash manners, and she’s doing great! She is a very smart girl and learns quickly so she’ll be walking perfectly on a leash in no time. She is a relatively quiet girl, just barking at the other animals when she wants them to give chase. She has a very sweet temperament, so she’d be a great family dog with kids over 6yrs old. Duchess does have a heart murmur and although the vet said there are no restrictions for her during exercise and playtime, we are still having a cardiologist examine her on June 6, just to make sure all is well. She must have a fenced yard and because of her age, she should not be left alone for more than 4-5hr intervals.
