Maisie is a very loving and sweet 6 year old mixed breed. We got Maisie 5 years ago, she has been great with our growing son and our cat as well. She really believes people exist to love her! We work long hours and when we are away from home, she has mild separation anxiety. This is the main reason we are looking for someone who is around the home more often. She is a perfect family dog when there is someone around to love her. We want the best for her and don’t believe we are providing that in our current situation.

The dogs are sisters. They have been learning fast despite being a little stubborn due to being .25 German shepherd. They are very sweet and love to climb into your lap and snuggle with you. They will play with kids, but don’t like to have their faces smothered. I tug on their ears and tails, so they are used to that. Their biggest issue is that our yards fencing is not quite adequate and they will force their way under to chase wild rabbits into the neighbors yard. Unfortunately our neighbor is not dog friendly, nor has the patience to wait for them to be trained and had called animal control before I was able to fix the situation. The risk of additional fines or worse, having the dogs taken, is too great.
