Story
Meet Hannibal, a gentle 40-pound soul who is looking for a quiet place to finally let his guard down. Hannibal is the ultimate "work-from-home" companion; he is incredibly low-energy indoors and loves nothing more than curling up at your feet while you work. While he can be a bit shy at first, once he feels safe, you’ll be rewarded with his adorable tail wags and a deeply loyal presence. He is a "dog’s dog" who truly shines when he has a larger canine sibling to look up to—having a buddy seems to give him the confidence he needs to relax and feel at home. Because Hannibal has a sensitive heart and a bit of a curious streak, he’s looking for a specific kind of environment where he can thrive. He’d be happiest in a home without small pets, as he prefers the company of friends his own size. While he enjoys his outdoor time, he’s a bit of an explorer, so a secure 6-foot fence and a family that enjoys supervised yard play would be perfect for him. Hannibal is still learning that the world is a kind place, so he’s looking for a patient adopter who understands that he might need a little extra time and a slow introduction to settle in. If you have a stable home and a friendly dog looking for a calm brother, Hannibal is ready to be your new best friend.

Story
Meet Gourdgeous! The world’s most lovable "potato lady" is ready to squash her way into your heart! This sweet, low slung girl is the ultimate companion for anyone seeking a professional level snuggler. If you’re looking for a devoted, "gourdgeous" best friend to brighten your sofa and your life, she is the perfect pick. The Ultimate Houseguest Gourdgeous is a total star in the home and has impeccable house manners. Trustworthy: Fully potty trained and completely crate trained. She is a calm, respectful pup when left alone. Your Shadow: She truly lives for human affection and loves to follow her foster parents around from room to room, just waiting to soak up every pet and belly rub you're willing to give. The Perfect Balance: She absolutely loves her naps and is a top-tier couch companion, but she still keeps things fun with the occasional burst of joyful zoomies! Kid-Approved: Gourdgeous absolutely loves children and is ready to be a gentle, loving family companion. Furry Friends: While she is peaceful on leash and loves to dog watch from afar, she decided she did not care for the other dogs in her foster home. Because she prefers to keep her people's affection all to herself, she would do best as the only pet in the household. 🚶‍♀️ Out & About On her adventures, Gourdgeous is a focused and curious walker. She loves to "people-watch" with great interest and keeps a very keen eye on the local wildlife. She has a spirited interest in squirrels, so she’ll definitely keep you active and engaged during your outdoor time! While she can be a little shy at first when meeting new gentlemen, she is incredibly easy to win over with a tasty treat and a gentle introduction. Ready to adopt? Ask about Gourdgeous today and get ready for a lifetime of velcro-dog loyalty and sweet potato snuggles!

Story
Meet Acerola: Your Ultimate Cuddle Bug & Zoomie Champion! Looking for a loyal, affectionate sidekick who is equal parts playful athlete and world-class couch potato? Meet Acerola! This handsome pup is the ultimate companion. He absolutely loves to cuddle and wants nothing more than to be right by your side. If you have a spot on the couch, room in your heart, and a basket full of toys, Acerola is ready to move right in. 🌟 Social Butterfly (At His Own Perfect Pace) Acerola is a gentle soul who takes a moment to assess his surroundings, but once he knows he’s safe, his joyful, loving personality completely shines! Dog Friendly (All Shapes & Sizes!): Acerola absolutely loves other dogs! He has fantastic social skills and takes corrections beautifully. He has successfully lived with everything from an 8 lb Chihuahua to a 45 lb Pit Bull, proving he’s a great fit for just about any pack. Playtime Enthusiast & Zoomie Expert: Though he starts off a little shy, once the ice is broken, he is incredibly playful! He has a deep love for all toys and is a certified master of the backyard zoomies. People Approved & Kid Tested: Acerola is friendly with people, though he prefers to take his time warming up to new adult friends at his own comfortable pace. He has also done wonderfully during brief meet-and-greets with children! 🏠 The Perfect Housemate & Crate Champ Acerola is fully crate trained and views his crate as his safe haven. Because he is young, curious, and loves to chew, his crate keeps him safe and successful when you're away from home. Pro-Tip: Acerola has an active mind and loves a good chewing challenge! Keep him stocked up on Nylabones and tough toys to keep that tail wagging. He also prefers a bed-free crate for now, as he likes to "remodel" his bedding (though he gently leaves the stuffing alone!). 🦮 Routine & Walks Like a Dream Acerola thrives on a good routine. Keep him on a frequent, structured potty schedule, and he excels! Best of all? He walks absolutely beautifully on a leash, making him the perfect partner for neighborhood strolls and outdoor adventures. 📋 Summary of Acerola: The Best Parts: Incredibly affectionate, excellent cuddler, walks great on a leash, loves all dogs and toys, and has a joyful, playful spirit. Ideal Home: A patient adopter who will let him warm up at his own pace, a structured environment with routine crate use, and plenty of toys to keep him entertained!

Story
Meet Ribbons, a beautiful pup with the energy of a young dog and the manners of a mature lady. She is housebroken, trained on the basics, food-motivated enough to keep learning, eager to please, and very smart. She is a happy girl with a very strong tail that wags a lot; would be a great companion for a family without tiny children. She loves her walks and is great on a run. A genuine people person (dog), Ribbons is beloved by all who meet her. She enjoys belly rubs, scratches, and visiting with people who invite her into their shops as she walks down Grand (it keeps happening - people love her!). She has an indestructible rubber ball. Her mission in life is to go get it. At least once a day, her foster family reports, Ribbons decides no one is paying enough attention to her and drops her ball near someone’s feet. Otherwise, she is a very chill girl around the house - avoiding the cat and napping a lot. A previous foster reported that Ribbons is good with other dogs. Today, we can say that she is dog-reactive on walks, but she seems to really want to meet them and is getting better with training. Slow introductions would be in order before she integrates into a household with other dogs.
