Dora is a super sweet and affectionate pup who’s around 3 to 4 years old, and honestly, she’s pretty amazing. She has that classic Boxer energy—playful, curious, and full of life—but she also has a calm, laid-back side that makes her easy to relax with at the end of the day. Dora is great with other animals, especially cats and most male dogs. She tends to prefer male dogs over females, but she’s generally friendly and easygoing with everyone she meets. Dora’s journey hasn’t been the easiest—she was found on a busy roadway, which was scary for her, and was picked up by animal control. Thankfully, she’s now safe and healthy at the shelter, waiting patiently for her forever family to come and bring her home. Since arriving, Dora has really grown in confidence and trust, especially around new people. At first, she was a little shy and unsure, but now she’s much more outgoing and eager to make friends. She’s a smart girl who already knows most of her basic commands, like sit, lie down, and place. She has excellent recall and even listens off-leash when in a safe area. Dora is also very well-behaved on a leash and enjoys her walks around town, taking everything in with a curious but calm attitude. Because she’s had some training with her previous owners, she’s not only obedient but also eager to please, which makes her a joy to work with. Dora has a playful but gentle nature. She’s ready to find a family who will love her, keep her active, and give her the patience and care she deserves. Hubbell is a wonderful dog. He's a mostly chill 6.5 year old guy who's goofy personality is starting to come out as he gets comfortable. I adopted him a few weeks ago and two days later our landlord informed us she is selling our house. I've thought long and hard and struggled with this decision. Rentals are tough with a large dog. All this to say, it's not his fault we need to rehome him. He just deserves more. Hubbell is easy to walk and listens well. He knows how to sit and I imagine could learn more with time. He loves treats and takes them very gently. He's a pretty quiet guy. He loves a walk, but currently they need to be short as he is being treated for heartworms. I have 5 months worth of medicine to send with him, as well as a shampoo for his allergies. I will be donating all of the things I've purchased for him, including a large kennel, collar and leash, and dog bed. We're working on better potty training. He's getting better and is so close with a little more patience!

Hi! My name’s Houston. I'm a four-year-old boxer mix boy and kind of a beefcake at around 80 pounds. (I'd argue that it's all muscle, too.) One of the things I want most in a forever home is a human friend to hang out with, not doing anything in particular, just a couple pals spending time together. Wouldn't that be amazing? I'm a little shy at first, but if you'll give me a few minutes to get to know you, we'll be besties. And I promise to be your snuggle pup! Really, though, I’m way too smart to laze around 24/7. I know sit, down, stay, high five, orbit, between, and wait. Learning tricks is one of my favorite activities and I can pick up new ones in just a day or two. I love to run outside and play in water from the hose. In case I wasn't clear enough on that, I LOVE PLAYING IN THE WATER!!!. My favorite game of all is tug of war. (I'll even let you win sometimes!) I’m kennel trained, house trained, and am good at being left alone. In fact, I do some of my best snoozing in my crate while I wait patiently for you to come home. I’d do best in a home with older children because I’m still learning how to contain all my excitement around the little ones. Willow is a young adult female. She’s had a rocky start on life. As a puppy she severely abused and dumped at the local shelter. An elderly couple adopted her and absolutely adored her. When they eventually had to move in with family, the family would not allow the dog to come so she ended up in need of a home. Again. She’s an amazing girl who loves car rides, enjoys laying at your feet or snuggling. Will chase a ball and get the zoomies but also curls up on the couch to snooze! She loves chew bones and stuffed kongs! Food is the way to her heart. She biggest downfall is that she takes a bit to warm up to new people. But once she is comfortable she’s your best buddy! She will always be somewhat leery of strangers. She would make an excellent truckers companion! She is crate trained and house broken. She does get along with some other dogs but not all. She’s never been around cats.

Meet Yuki! This sweet 7-month-old pup is a little extra special — he’s deaf, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. Yuki is learning ESL (sign language) and will continue his training as he waits for his forever family. He’s fully potty trained, does great in a crate, and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats — from tiny to giant! Yuki also loves children and shows great respect for their boundaries. This smart boy absolutely loves treats and food, which makes training easy and fun. He’s loyal, attentive, and loves staying close by your side.
